Is this implying that previously released tracks have received a visual boost? Or just this pack?

Looks really neat... reminds me of a lot of other enjoyable games.

Always a question of how well these ports will run on Switch.

Charming art style, but the game is pretty simple and a little buggy. Not sorry I got it, but was hoping for better.

Good News: I haven't played 4 of these
Bad News: 3 of them are from Tour

And DK Summit just seems like a worse version of Mount Wario.

Still... more MK8 tracks are always welcome.

E3 was not necessary as soon as the internet became what it is... COVID was just the excuse to pull the plug.

Bit.Trip Collection is good to see... but still no Runner2 on Switch.

Smash was fun to watch... and Injustice... maybe SF is still fun.

@Bret I guess I meant "another Direct"... the first was fine as an announcement... I don't remember the second... but now the movie is well known and releasing soon.

A Direct for a movie doesn't seem necessary? Unless there is a surprise game announcement??? Probably just a movie tie-in bundle...

And I never watch trailers for any movie... they are way too spoiler-y.

@KayFiOS Apple TV+ is a streaming service available on many/most hardware devices.

I am not a huge fan of Apple products and don't own any... but I do subscribe to Apple TV+ and they have a very high consistency of quality, despite not a ton of quantity.

I got Blanc earlier this week... can't wait to play it.

I am so glad that the modern distribution system and marketplace allow games like this to exist. I will definitely check it out. And thanks Nintendo Life for making me aware of it.

Now... how do we get Unfinished Swan on the Switch?

The DS Lite was my first handheld since the Game Gear... great design. DS and 3DS were great for portability, but the resolution and controls diminished the experience.

The Switch is fantastic for home console quality in a portable device, but it's certainly not pocketable.

A device with the portability of 3DS and graphic power of Switch will be the pinnacle.

@CazSonOfCaz If anything, the Steam Deck would be more motivation for Nintendo to release upgraded hardware.

If there ever was a Switch Pro planned, and it got scrapped, I would bet a lot that it was supply chain/manufacturing issues.

@HalBailman I never said that MP4 would have been ready in 2020/2021... just that it would have been Pro enhanced.

@TruthisRare If you think that not being able to go into the office/hq didn't de-rail development, you're crazy.

@TruthisRare I did also... except I don't think anything would ever have been Pro exclusive, would have decimated software sales... just Pro enhanced like the PS4 did.

And if we are at all correct, COVID definitely had something to do with it... Switch sales skyrocketed, software development slowed to a crawl, and parts became difficult to source... so we got the OLED model instead.

I really think Tears of the Kingdom and Prime 4 were intended for the Switch Pro that never happened due to COVID.

E3 had a pretty good run for over 20 years... it is now a relic of the "old days".

With web sites, YouTube, Twitch, etc. in our pocket, we really don't need it. I will miss it, but only a little bit.

Because it is in no way a "Sensor Bar"... it is two LED lights.

Onion Assault is the only game I even recognize on that list...

And if I wasn't already aware of it, I would not have realized that is a legitimate game.

Glad to see them expanding... I received Dig essentially for free as part of a Humble Bundle... had no interest in it, but played it and it was so great that I bought Heist.

SteamWorld Heist was also a wonderful surprise... and Dig 2 was also obviously great.

Would like to see a Heist 2, but not sure what they could do better.

Port it to Switch... or make a sequel.

Maybe Switch 2 will have a second screen that flips up?

Will definitely give this a go based on previous games.

@ZonaiResearcher Sending to Nintendo for repair is one option... but it is a hassle, you will be without your controller for a while, and it will likely break again over time.

If this really is a better part that essentially eliminates the problem... it is a better option for some people.

Dig, Dig 2, and Heist are all great... If you haven't played them, they get super cheap on the eShop at times.

I was 100% until the Overwatch trick... then I stopped caring.

That stinks for the other runners...

I'm still so sad that SMG2 wasn't included in 3D All Stars... makes no sense... belongs there more than Sunshine.

And hopefully there will be some backwards benefit to run games like BOTW at solid 1080/30... or maybe even 60.

I love my Switch, but it's definitely time. I was pretty convinced that a Pro model was coming, but COVID issues plus a sales boom turned that into just the OLED upgrade.

If it's not backwards compatible, I will be stunned and will probably not buy one for a while.

I'd bet it will launch around the same time as Metroid Prime 4.

Highly doubt it will be announced until after BOTW2 releases.

@BrintaPap You can get a silicone cover with "bumps" on the back for less than $20... It makes the Switch far better to hold and it will still fit in most carrying cases.

I use one made by JEtech, but there are lots of options.

Portal for Switch should really include the DLC that was designed specifically for PS Move... it was called Portal 2 In Motion.

Should work great with JoyCon.

Now get rid of Blue Shells on the 3rd lap... And 3 Red Shells should probably not exist. Then remove the Blooper and the Plant and the game may be about perfect!

The only other change I have always thought would be good... if you have 10 coins, you can't get a coin from the Item Box, guarantee at least a banana.

@Ogbert It might be worth contacting the developers if you have purchased both 1 and 2 and now have no way to get the upcoming DLC without additionally purchasing All You Can Eat.

It is possible that they will help out in some way... I once purchased a game on Steam, which was a very simple game but had major performance issues... Steam refused to refund me but the game devs sent me a code to download on Switch.

@Ogbert If you already own the earlier games, what I was saying doesn't apply... I was saying that the earlier games should stop being available for purchase and all buyers going forward would just get the All You Can Eat version.

The All You Can Eat version gets cheap enough with sales that it is worth getting if you plan to keep playing it... It will probably be cheap enough at times to warrant a purchase just for the exclusive DLC.

All You Can Eat is definitely the version to get as the original has some glaring issues and progress can be very difficult and the fun ends fast. It is too bad that play-testing didn't reveal these issues earlier, so they could be corrected in the original versions.

Also annoying is that there is now the original game, the sequel, a Season Pass, a Gourmet edition, and All You Can Eat.

At this point, I feel like all versions other than All You Can Eat should be unavailable for purchase so new buyers don't get burned.
