Re: Best Nintendo Switch Puzzle Platformers

"ibb & obb" is one of the greatest co-op experiences of my life... anyone with a friend who is into the genre should absolutely play it.

I tried Chariot on WiiU and it got very boring... never finished it... is Super Chariot any better?

Personalized Dice Blocks and Allies break the game... glad they are gone.

I have owned every Mario Party since the Gamecube Era and none have been great since that era. Hopefully this game corrects that and I will probably get rid of my Super Mario Party copy.

The best board from my memory is Windmillville from MP7, where players decide how many coins to deposit and "own" the stars allocated to each windmill. That was a great board with a lot of strategy... hopefully it makes it into the new game.

I have the original Alpaca Ball on Switch... it's good fun with the right people... I am curious what the differences are with Allstars.

The biggest issue with the original is you can't play 2v2 with two humans and two CPU characters... maybe that has been fixed?

It does not appear that Allstars on Switch has added online multiplayer?

@RadioHedgeFund I never said NES was the first console... you said the list of revolutionary consoles starts with Dreamcast. I was alive when the NES hit the market, and I assure you it was revolutionary.

I agree that everything after was fairly iterative until the Saturn/PS1 & N64 era. And nothing since has been much more than a more powerful box, except for the gimmicky Wii and VR stuff, until the Switch (with WiiU being fairly revolutionary, but misunderstood and mis-marketed).

Re: How To Use Bluetooth Headphones On Switch - Connect AirPods To Nintendo Switch

HolyGeez03

This is all somewhat pointless in my opinion without support for Low Latency codec.

It appears that the Switch does not support Low Latency and very few wireless earbuds support LL anyway... for true Low Latency, you would likely need full-sized wireless headphones, the type more designed for TV/movie watching.

I have a Low Latency bluetooth setup in my home gym for watching movies during workouts, and it works great. Anything that is not true low latency is very annoying for tv/movies and would be even worse for gaming.

I believe bluetooth audio lag is the reason that Nintendo never allowed it... but they have caved to customer demand. It's fine for people who don't mind the lag, but I will be plugging in headphones to my Switch.
