If you've ever fancied yourself as a bit of a Jedi Master (or a Sith Lord?? Hey, you do you!), then the upcoming multiplayer brawler SpiderHeck will let you play out your wildest lightsaber fantasies against your friends in local and online multiplayer! The catch? Well... You'll be playing as spiders.
Launching later this month on September 22nd, SpiderHeck features both PvP and co-op PvE with insane physics-based combat and classic "the floor is lava" mechanics to keep you on your toes at all times.
Here's some info from the game's official eShop page:
SpiderHeck is a fast-paced couch co-op brawler where spiders dance to the death in the grip of chaotic battles using laser swords, grenades and even rocket launchers to defeat their foes.
Challenge yourself by fighting wave after wave of vicious enemies in endless hours of single-player fun, or let the mayhem begin in a dazzling fight against your friends taking on the enemies in PvE; stab, sling, and scramble your way to victory in this silly spider showdown.
• Local and Online Multiplayer
• PvP and Co-op PvE modes
• Easy to learn, hard to master
• Physics based combat
• Incredible arachnobatics
• Big weapon variety
SpiderHeck can be pre-ordered now at a slightly discounted price of £12.14. Standard price will be £13.49.
Will you be checking out SpiderHeck later this month? Ignite your laser sword and let us know!

Ngl, I thought this was Beat Saber from the main image at first
No singleplayer?
Any single player mode or bots?
Reminds me of Starwhal
@AG_Awesome @czdjax read the article, it does say
Looks dope. Count me in!
this is where my phobia and hatred of spiders comes up against my love of Star Wars
@Bunkerneath thanks. I skimmed it and totally missed that somehow! Lol.
Ha, that subhead tho.
Looks fun; I'm in! Let's hope I can get the right kind of friends to play it with me...
This game wins at trailers (I don't like the genre, but I was very excited to watch).
Ah yes, so much better than the sequel trilogy...
"Better than the sequels"
What you have told me is true, you have gained my trust.
Definitely will be getting this game. My kids love Stick Fight and this looks like a sequel to that. Probably need more of a discount though.
I'm still waiting for Starwhal and Sportsball on Switch... or better yet, sequels!
Like Spiderman with a lightsaber!
