I’m okay with this. Especially after free content of Odyssey and Aces. I think so far Nintendo is doing an alright job of the free to paid ratio. Heck, I’ve gotten hundreds of apples free in Kirby, and around 5 free mini games for Labo VR.

@diablo2 The price is listed on the page, just like other games. And in every other article's comment section. And at the retailer. If it's not important to the score, it doesn't really need to be hashed out again in the review of the game. That's just my opinion, anyway

I'd snag this in a flashlight flicker. One of my favorite games on 360. It's the one horror/suspense game that I've completed to the end, sweaty palms and shallow breaths all the way.

DxM is the only (non-Macross) Mech game I've enjoyed enough to surpass 20 hours. I really like the customization, and doing missions online has been fun. There's been enough mission variety to keep it interesting for me, and I've not hit a hard difficulty wall yet; only failed a few missions that prompted a rebuild followed by success.
This is also the game that I've finally gotten used to gyro controls with

Yay! It looks adorable. This launches one day after my friend's birthday, so I'll be picking up two copies and two amiibo. I was actually hoping to take off Friday, but others in the department need the day more than me. My fun Demony Machines will have to keep me occupied.

@Jokerwolf Going from flat 2D sprites to the current graphics is a bit more than just an enhancement, to be fair. I’m getting it because I haven’t played it since the original came out, and I never got even halfway through that. So for myself, it’s close enough to a new game that I’m okay with the price. I also am not getting any other games till next year besides Luigi, though.

And why are folks still even complaining about reviews of this genre of games? Why do some folks always see it as a personal affront to them and their personal choice of buying something. I really like the movie Life Aquatic, but I've got a friend that hates it. I don't call them every week complaining how they've ruined my life because their opinion is different about something that....wait for it.... I still enjoy no matter what.

I think Daemon did alright with all the titles it was up against, plus being a game that’s not for everyone’s tastes.

Meanwhile, gamers keep replacing their misplaced copies of GTAV.

@ben12776 You’re comparing apples and oranges there. Sort of like wondering why Return of the Jedi Special Edition would review better than a horror movie, when original RotJ is older than the horror movie. And the horror movie also has issues being a horror movie.

Picked up DxM yesterday and played for a few hours last night. The changes are just what I needed. I moved around the HUD elements and have been having a blast.

I played some of the new (actual) demo last night in handheld. Moved some HUD elements around; pretty awesome that’s an option. I’ll try again at lunch hopefully. I’m thinking it’s neat, but I’ve gotta get 2x Zelda and amiibo next week, so DxM May wait if I even decide to get it. Plus I’m still playing FE3H and Astral. And SNES. And Kirby.

@nessisonett Agreed. This also gives strength to folks in a similarly exploitative environment to realize that it’s not okay. Not much other recourse when there is no HR.

@Olmectron Same here. When folks are ready to drop extra money on limited editions of games for all the extras, does it make sense to be a negative ‘tude about this? Especially if someone never intended to get it? Whatever floats your watermelon, I suppose.

@Chunkboi79 I'm wondering about the comfort, too. I also use a cradle grip thingy for my Switch and after awhile that can still ping my wrists. The more my hands angle like this ~/" then the less comfortable the thing gets. When docked, I mostly play with separated joycons, but I'd really like a joycon grip that had each con at an angle so my arms would be more parallel with the tops of my hands. It makes sense when I think about it in my head

Some of y’all need to chill. Look, if you’re all for piracy then just do it. But don’t try to dress it up as some way that you personally are “preserving history” or that you have a right to it. Just do what you will and justify it to yourself. The same sentiment goes for the opposition. Otherwise we just rehash the same anachronisms every time there’s an article vaguely related to the topic, in which case there’s no winners. @Desrever I went from a part time GA up to ASM with the company beginning at Wii launch for a couple years. I really enjoyed my work, but retail sales is definitely something that requires certain personalities and attitudes to succeed.

In the Charleston, SC district, there were 4 stores within 1/4 mile from each other. This is what the PR is talking about in terms of density. The FuncoLand & EB Games acquisitions left many stores standing that over time cannibalized each other in terms of sales.
Sympathies for those affected; Some of you users need to grow up and live in the real world, too.
