Hilarious to me. As are all the pleas to stop. They’re not even his children, so folks were going about it the wrong way. Now the true way to hurt Nook would be capturing the other residents, cutting Tom off from his revenue streams.
@Crono1973 Wasn’t to confusing to keep touch controls from being patched in to Witcher 3, though. Hoping they’ll do this down the line for menus at least.
It sucks for the employees, for sure. Ya know what else sucks for the employees? People going into the store during this.
Let’s be real, folks. GameStop wouldn’t keep the stores open if sales suddenly dropped off. Instead of just going online and complaining about it, or trying to rationalize unwarranted exposure because “business”, help out your fellow gamers by convincing them to be safer and stay out of the stores right now.
@Crockin I think you're right, as well. Especially since there's still cases of Ebola, H1N1, SARS, MERS, and typical flu. Only around half the USA even gets the annual flu vaccine.
Here's hoping they'll figure something out for events like this that still let companies show their projects and give people cool things to see.
@Woomy_NNYes I was thinking about online infrastructure this morning. Since bandwidth is as much a finite item as the pressure in a water system, it'll be interesting how things hold up over prolonged exacerbated use.
@rjejr Yah, I knew where ya were coming from cuz last night from 8-930pm ET is was just bam, bam, bam. It all needs to calm down. Folks need to wash themselves and take care of the elderly. Things folks should have already been doing. There's no shortage of regular soap, I've noticed. And no matter who is in charge of what country, state, town, province; They're not there to wash everyone. This is a civilized society in most areas that are freaking out. It's time we act civilized.
@Cosats Honestly, he only mentioned Trump because the US had a televised Presidential Address a short while ago, in which Trump mentioned the EU travel restriction. Nothing had anything to do with anyone’s likability or lack thereof.
@Kang81 LoS2 is definitely different at first, but it picks up well. If you liked those and haven’t tried it, Dante’s Inferno on 360 was a great story, too.
@TeslaChippie @Cosats Murder is illegal, but still happens. Because people willing to commit murder are not concerned about the consequences. Guns, knives, vehicles, poisons, rocks; It's a matter of bad people committed to doing bad things, no matter what the implement. Gun ownership is high in the US, but there are also far more geographical differences between coasts. Preventing citizen A from purchasing a firearm for his property that is in a wooded hill 80 miles from the nearest town, in hopes that citizen B will not use a firearm in a firearm-restricted area in his urban environment; That's not a common sense approach.
@Dezzy I think the lack of a Direct has caused a majority of staff and users to devolve to lesser forms. It’s gettin a lil scary out here. Watch those corners, folks!
I must not be caught up on my issues of “Get Mad Monthly”, because I don’t know what the negative fuss is about a celeb being excited to play a new game. That’s not an invite, I don’t care to know why folks are mad about something that doesn’t impact them.
@MrGawain Plaque Inc has been around for years. It wasn't banned during the H1N1, MERS, SARS, Swine Flu epidemics in China. I also don't remember any terrorist films stopped, or songs being pulled from the radio. Maybe instead of engaging in scapegoating practices, China can focus on an actual virus. Not a virtual one.
@Kimyonaakuma In this instance, it reads as though the game suffers because of the quality of play, not the quantity of choice.
If folks are genuinely upset over the inclusion represented in this game, then I expect the same folks to be upset the next time a disabled person is able to enjoy a game like them. It’s the same. Don’t take a high road.
@Cosats Just searching "china ring fit adventure" in Google brings up 7 other websites that feature an article about an increase in sales for the title while cities in China are under quarantine. This isn't clickbait or using an illness to sell a product; These are articles showing a correlation between a densely populated geographical area that has had folks' daily routines entirely disrupted and resulted in large numbers of people not even going outside, and the scarcity of a video game that just happens to allow indoor exercise. Also, not every story regarding Covid is required to show reverence to those affected. Is it awful, this illness? Absolutely. It's always awful when people are negatively affected by something. But just like there isn't a bunch of articles regarding the 16,000 influenza deaths reported for this season in the United States alone, this is not something that's needed nor even pertinent to this particular article. There is more than a single tweet for this story. Reading the article and noting that there is more source material shows that. I'm not really sure what you mean by poor writing, because the whole thing seems coherent to me. But, to each their own, I suppose.

Re: Video: Hi-Rez Studio's New Shooter Rogue Company Gets Explosive Gameplay Trailer
This looks like it could be fun; It’s got a MW x Payday kind of vibe to it.
And I don’t think some of you commenters watched the same thing I did. SJW? Fortnite? Weird conclusions.
Re: Random: Rare Uses Banjo-Kazooie To Remind People To Stay At Home
@AnnoyingFrenzy I also enjoyed Nuts & Bolts. It was graphically gorgeous, to boot!

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Pocket Camp Crossover Event Is Now Live
@personauser93 This is just in-game items for the mobile title. Probably 1/3 of which cost so many leaf tickets that casual players won’t see them.
