Don't have high hopes since this game is coming to mobile devices before Switch so we are getting a mobile port.

Missing the charm Pushmo has. This just looks like a very dull ripoff. Even the Cuphead ripoff, Enchanted Portals did enough for me to consider a purchase. I am not interested Pictopull in the slightest.

Games should be evaluated as a full product at launch unless otherwise advertised as an early access game. As far as I know, the Switch version of Mortal Kombat is a full product, but yet they confirmed Invasions is not complete on Nintendo Switch. A complete product that actually isn't deserves a negative review. Also, this is a $70 product as is the PS5 and Microsoft versions which are superior to the Switch version.

That is why physical media and dedicated game consoles exists. You can still run Tomb Raider on Playstation with no issues, you could also do so on PC with a Playstation emulator. Unfortunately, many publishers are slowly doing away physical media.

You can still download mods to play the expansion packs though the original Steam release are not well compatible on Windows 10 & 11. Tomb Raider 3 still crashes on me despite using Window 10 compatibility mods.

I will gladly double dip on PC and Switch, or would that be a triple dip since also have it on XBox....a quadruple dip? I also have the original physical release on PS2. Well, I am still buying it on PC and Switch.

This is why emulation exists. Konami wants to do a piss job porting their games, I'll just emulate their games at 1080p or even 4K with highest framerate possible. The Switch should be more than capable to run these games at 1080p while docked and at 60 fps. Absolute nonsense.

I know you were joking or I would hope so but sadly, you are also right. Series S & X has nothing the PS5 & PC can't do while XBox 360 & One had things no other system had....though much of it was crap nobody want but it still was something. I didn't buy an XBox this generation because they have nothing to offer me, not even exclusive games to the hardware.

I am still waiting for Alien Hominid HD. It would be perfect for the Switch. It is still stranded on XBox consoles.

Also, there no port of the HD version of Alien Hominid on GBA, that is impossible. Sticking with Nintendo consoles, it is more a port of the Gamecube version.

Well, if Microsoft can get Goldeneye and Banjo-Kazooie on NSO, I don't see why they cannot get more of RARE's games on there, and not just those on N64 but on NES as well.

This CEO is probably one of those who blame customers for profit loss. If RDR does not sell well, it is the consumers fault for not buying it.

I imagine Metroid Prime 4 maybe ported to the next console, but it will not be the big launch title. The big launch title will probably be the next big Mario game. They might also try to port Tears of the Kingdom if they can't get their next big Zelda game out around launch of their next system. The big Zelda title won't happen at launch since Tears of the Kingdom launched not too long ago unless we are still years away towards Nintendo's next console. We will also get some surprise titles that are not part of a franchise like we got 1, 2, Switch and Arms on the Switch.

I have a PS5 and moderately powerful PC. I don't need a Cloud version for games I will not play portably anyways...well, I buy most games on Steam, but I generally will double dip on short games I love...The Medium is not short enough, nor is it good enough. Generally, I will not buy Switch games that needs a lot time during my day to invest in unless it is Switch exclusive like Xenoblade because I would rather play games in 4K with higher framerates if I am going to be sitting in front of my TV for a few hours playing. I think the Switch is the worst platform for Cloud gaming anyways, it was not really designed with streaming games in mind. XBox One X and PS5 makes more sense because those console are built to be stationary.

Exclusives are what sells consoles. It also what keeps your loyal customers to the XBox brand. I have an XBox One and I only use it play to Rare Replay, and a few other backward compatible games exclusive to XBox consoles but otherwise, I don't use it. I don't even have it plugged in right now. I bought the console to play the then-exclusive Sunset Overdrive, but that too was also released on PC. The game didn't even get a FPS boost for the Series X. I don't really have an interest in buying a Series X since every game is also released on PC where I can run games better.

@CharlieGirl The problem is they get too many orders than what they can realistically manage so some customers don't recieve their product close to the estimated release, sometimes months or even years after. This is due to a huge backlog of orders. If Limited Run only stuck with a few products per quarter, their orders would be manageable but they instead announce several products just for a one month pre-order window and they do this for nearly every month of the year so the backlog of orders is just piling up. I am honestly surprised Limited Run is still in business despite having many unsatisfied customers.

@StarPoint Metal Gear Solid V was also on PS3...it was not good but it was there so the game could in theory run on the Switch though depending on who ports the game, though it is unlikely it would run at a smooth 60fps and it would have lower texture quality.

I will be buying this somehow.

Couldn't even give a good reason to justify such raise...just because another company did it is not a good reason. While it is important to evaluate the competition but sometimes what others do will not work for another. I really doubt people are going to buy a $69.99 Sonic game especially considering SEGA's spotty track record. Sure things are looking up now for SEGA and their mascot, but it is still not enough to convince consumers to commit to a higher priced product. Most people will probably wait for a sale or price cut.

I don't see how it is unfair. You answer by the matching the artwork to the game it is designed for. The artwork with thick black outlines is from the original Wind Waker while the brighter tone artwork is from the Wii U remake.

The official artwork was specifically for Ocarina of Time 3D, but the character model was reused for Majora's Mask 3D. Since Zelda does not have a major role in Majora's Mask, she didn't get official artwork for either version of the game.

Finally, Kirby: Tilt n' Tumble. So where are those other games teased in Feburary's Nintendo Direct? So far, we only got Kirby: Tilt n' Tumble & Metroid Fusion.

$70 on Nintendo Switch, a system with no 4K support and had to make graphical compromises to get MK11 to run. I will not be buying the Nintendo Switch version...in fact, I am not buying it at all until there is a good sale cause frankly, I am tired of these season passes just for them to launch a complete version a year or so later.

@Bass_X0 Super Mario Advance has the most changes out of the three games with large enemies, a new boss, and a bonus Yoshi egg hunt. Yoshi's island got exclusive bonus levels. Super Mario World got an intro and leg wiggling Luigi.

No, that is an early access price which started as an alternative when movie theatres shut down due to city ordinances across America to shut down non-essential businesses in response of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some publishers still try to overcharge despite America has been long open since.

This is not an official home release. Many publishers has released early access to films that are also in theatres for the same price. When The Super Mario Bros. Movie releases on most distribution sites and home video, the price will likely drop, probably $19.99. Also, Amazon does have a rental option while I am writing this, at least in America for $24.99...that rental price will also drop once the film leaves theatres.

It is available to rent now on Amazon but would you really consider paying $24.99 just to rent? You might as well buy the film for 29.99 if you are too impatient for the film to drop everywhere. I suggest you wait for the film officially release on home video or go see it at a movie theatre but I guess that depends on what options are available to you.

I stated the fact that Super Dungeon Maker is no longer in early access and as such, it should be reviewed as a full product but some users comment as if it is still in early access. I was not giving my opinion on the game. I will agree based on the fact
the developer are still pushing for content updates so it was not ready for a full release.

When Kung Fu is referred to, people usually think of the NES game despite originally being an arcade game. Sure, Kung Fu is not as memorable as the big hitters from Nintendo, Capcom & Konami, but it is far from a forgotten NES game. It was even one of the original black box games. Also, many games took inspiration from Kung Fu such as Bad Dudes and The Ninja Warriors. In fact, if it was not for Kung Fu, there would not be a beat em' up genre.

Are you thinking of Karate Kid? AVGN did not cover Kung Fu. Also, AVGN is a satirical series. Just because he talks crap about games does not mean they are bad or should be hated on. I happen to like Kung Fu as simple the game is.

Creators are allowed to use copyrighted content under fair use for non-profit, but in most cases, they cannot profit from copyrighted content without the owners consent. That is why Google usually sides with copyright holders because Google could get sued for allowing unapproved copyrighted material on their websites.

Most of these content creators are making money off of Nintendo's content via ads on YouTube so there is really no defense of fair use.

I will drive pass this one.
