@TryToBeHopeful Does not matter what age you are, in your late 30s you wish were in your 20s; in your 40s, you will wish you are in you 30s and so on. No matter what age you are, you will always feel old.
I had no idea Rise of the Tomb Raider was on 360. Honestly, I think if Square-Enix puts in the effort, Rise of the Tomb Raider can run natively on the Switch but Square Enix could not even bother to port PS3 compilations on Switch which they done on other platforms.
Metroid Prime 4 replaced Metroid Dread as the Metroid game in development hell. Metroid Dread was in development hell for 16 years so Metroid Prime 4 won't release until 2033 if Nintendo has something to replace Metroid Prime 4 on that year.
None. I have the Genesis / Mega Drive Collection, Castlevania & Contra Collections and the SEGA Genesis Mini. All the games offered are included at least on one of these collections. Nintendo is just wasting money adding these Genesis games to the online service. Customers such as myself want games we cannot get anywhere else. Offer Genesis titles that are not already on the Switch. Where is Rocket Knight Adventures?
Pass, I have these games on PS4 which I can play in 4K. Why would I play inferior versions which I cannot take on the go. If I can't take my game with me, I probably won't buy it on the Switch.
Playing Lost at Random on PC. Fantastic game, I wouldn't mind double dipping for the Switch version at some point, maybe a physical version if such thing becomes available.
Give the license to right developer & publisher, Jumanji has the potential to be a good game. It could be solid open-world adventure game akin to Rise of the Tomb Raider, or a more linear experience like Uncharted. Not every licensed game has to be some poorly developed multiplayer game...in fact, most of the better games are not which includes Batman, Spider-Man, Riddick, Ghostbusters: The Vide Game, Alien: Isolation and the list goes on. Walking Dead had two multiplayer titles that flopped with one cancelled for consoles while the Telltale game still continues to sell...I would take Telltale's Jumanji over what was already released despite not exactly I would want from a Jumanji game. Jumanji can be done right if publishers quit following multiplayer trends. Just make a solid action-adventure game based on recent films...they could make even a sequel or prequel game as oppose following the films directly much like Ghostbusters did.
Why does Twitter always think every post is a tease for something? Sakurai was just merely having fun with his debug version of Smash Bro. Ultimate. and decided to share on Twitter. If social media was never a thing, this pic referencing Terminator would not be shared outside Sakurai's home & office except for maybe to close friends of his. His fans should be grateful he shares his pics, but instead they nitpick every detail in hope he his teasing something. No, Terminator is probably not coming to Smash nor is Doom guy. This pic is only referencing that Sakurai is a fan of the film Terminator and nothing more.
It is very likely there will be mandatory updates no matter what size the game is and you cannot just download those on a game card. I really don't know what this label is for, most games require updates so an an external card is necessary anyways.
It likely there will be one more surprise character reveal after the fighters pack, Of course, it will not be announced until the end of Sakurai's final fighters pack presentation. I don't expect anymore after that though.
While I get your point but I feel you should not bother with Destroy All Humans! on Switch. Don't support companies who are willing to put out a shoddy port job for a quick cash grab. While the Switch has limited capabilities compared to other platforms but with excellent ports of Doom Eternal and Crash Bandicoot 4 with barely any compromises, Destroy All Humans! is an obvious poor port. Don't support really bad ports just those are your only options, you better off just skipping Destroy All Humans! entirely if you don't want another console.
Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is baffling. I always thought of it to be the kind of game for only hardcore collectors to show off on Youtube but was anybody asking for a reprint?
@TossedLlama We are not getting Mother 3. All the west is getting is a Earthbound & Earthbound Beginnings in a mediocre collector's edition that only includes a CD sound effect sampler and a small preview book of the online strategy guide with a QR code to said guide.
Japan will get all three games with a soundtrack CD with the best tracks the games, full print strategy guides for Mother 2 & 3, and a replica of Ness' cap.
...
Honestly, I can imagine Nintendo doing this for a Mother Anniversary or some kind of series celebration except the west will not get anything at all. We were lucky to get Earthbound & Earthbound Beginnings on the Wii U and Nintendo sort of forgot about them for NSO.
Why is he even being attacked, he doesn't work for Retro Studios anyone so his opinion does not mean much. That is like going after Reggie for not localizing Mother 3, it's stupid.
I'd correct on title of the show your referencing but instead, I will tell you not to reference that garbage again...but you are right, this game looks just as bad.
Konami could remake MSGS4 from the ground up if they invest the time and money. Like any other high profile game, it would be costly and hard work but it can be done if Konami has the profits to do so. I never said they could port or remaster MGS4 from the PS3.
Demon's Souls was also a PS3 exclusive but got a full fledge remake from the ground up on PS5. I see no reason for Metal Gear Solid 4 not to get the same treatment other than Konami being too cheap and lazy to put in the effort.
That is just speculation, not fact. Square-Enix could stream another showcase of their own, or make just simple tweet announcement. They could also work with Nintendo to showcase Life is Strange: True Color in Nintendo Direct but Nintendo is not going to march up to Square-Enix and demand them to save their announcement for Nintendo marketing.
It's not that Life is Strange: True Colors is not coming to the Switch but there is not any evidence it is. Square-Enix could be preparing an announcement at a later date and ESRB were requested to take down the platform listing. Nobody but the publisher and development team knows for sure what is going on, for now.
I see very little reason to believe Life is Strange: True Colors is coming to the Switch. There is no evidence as such. ESRB has previously posted a Switch version on their site which has since been removed. The posting could of been just a simple mistake on ESRB's end and nothing more.
I will purchase Monster Hunter Rise eventually, but I got too many games on my backlog including Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. Oh, there is also that Monster Hunter World expansion I have yet to purchase as well.
Nintendo is just throwing away money. They spent money resources to celebrate Super Mario 35th Anniversary just drop everything so shortly.
Nintendo will have a warehouse full of unsold merch because they are pulling everything from the Nintendo Store instead of selling everything until supplies last.
Exclusive titles such as Super Mario Bros. 35 for Nintendo Switch Online draws more subscribers, but to drop such such exclusives so shortly will deter new subscribers from renewing after March.
Nintendo is obviously not interested in making money because they already have enough to blow, but if the company was struggling as bad as Wii U sales, Nintendo would have second thoughts.
You don't. Closed Beta was only announced for China & Canada and I am sure sign ups are now closed. Moving forward, Tencent or The Pokemon Company probably will not announce Beta testing for other regions since terms of conditions were broke.
I agree. Competition encourages businesses to support quality service and products. If there is no competition, a business such as Youtube who has a monopoly on a service or product will not care at all.
Epic Games only take 12% of shares while Valve take 30% below 10 million sales 25% over 10 million and 20% over 50 million. Developers put their games on Epic to gain more revenue. Sure, they could their games on both stores but Epic would not see any sales if players prefer to buy their games on Steam. Sure, pulling & preventing games going on Steam is anti-consumer but from a business sense, exclusivity deals is a smart decision for Epic Games and their partners for them to compete with Valve.
I just played a couple rounds. I was able to find a few matches within 1-2 minutes which is short compared to most online games. I don't think Fall Guys is dead.
@WolfyTn
Isn't Spelunky 1 & 2 coming to the Switch as well? I think they were announced in an Indie Showcase not too long ago.
I argue many of those games should not be published on the eshop in the first place. It tarnishes the brand of the eshop. If more reputable Indie developers wish to sell their product, there is got to be more quality control which such responsibilities lies on Nintendo. If I recall correctly Attooie discounts their games so highly and frequently because they are push down the list by mediocre games that are released weekly but when mediocre developers learn they can do this, they will do the same thus just pushing games like Mutant Mudds further down the "games on sale" list.
Simply the case, fans games that make money from ad revenue or other means; those games get taken down. Of course, there is the case representation as well. Nintendo probably does not their property misrepresented from content NSFW. It is probably best not to make and publish a fan game in the first place as such a thing can bankrupt creators if they get more than a cease and desist.
It would have to be proven in the court of law that a game was pirated to create derivative work. Capcom or any other company will not likely take upon such legal action because it is not worth the money to put in such effort over one video on Youtube. At most, Capcom would request such video to be taken down and if that fails, they would just let it go. On the flip side, Capcom could successfully take the video down and the creator decide not to take legal action because it would at his own expense. At all ends, it would have to be prove the game was emulated through illegal means. If Capcom's legal team knows they cannot prove that, they will not take legal action.
