@OorWullie he did say don’t expect a lot of new characters. I reckon they could goto 70. So 5 left to reveal.

And as they’ve finally added Ridley they may add other highly demanded characters and while I would like an ARMS rep there’s far bigger names they may focus on.

I know it won’t happen but I’d kill for the 4 Champions from BOTW but I don’t even expect to see 1. Maybe they’ll be an assist trophy where the 4 fire a beam attack just like at the Gannon fight.

ARMS could go assist too, because look at Bomberman, how many requested him? And now he’s just a trophy. It’s why I don’t expect many more playable reveals at all.

I still would love a Belmont too, Vania has been so important to Nintendo since the NES, so many Vania’s are Nintendo ONLY so Belmont deserves a slot, maybe more so than Mega Man and deffinitely more so than Snake, lol.

Play both, prefer STW

The STW team actually listen to player feedback and fix a lot whereas the BR team think “sod it, let’s make even more cancer”. The fact that they still haven’t done a 2nd map either is terrible.

Quit BR this season as it’s just been so awful, I’m rather gutted this doesn’t have STW and that Sony would block me anyway as grinding out perk up while I watch Netflix would be awesome.

And to all saying PVE costs, if you enjoy it, PVE pays you.

You earn VBUCKS A LOT and the amount of premium skins for BR that cost me bugger all makes the £35 I paid last July well worth it.

Even if I have flushed 950 down the drain buying Battle Pass 3 as again this season has been aids.

Gave up with Battle Royal as season 4 has been terrible, first battle pass I regret buying. All I play is PVE now and at 101 in Twine I was looking forward to maybe playing with my account on a handheld, I guess not.

Shame as the PVE grind is so bad (because season 4 of PVE has also been beyond awful) I was hoping I could put Netflix on the T.V while I went to work grinding out Perk Up.

Why buy when we still have to use that awful mobile app and awful Nintendo online that stopped me and my 2 brothers playing splatoon on the same damn team?

Maybe in 20 years Nintendo online will be worth investing into but for now Switch is local and 1p only for me.

Kinda wish more people were around when this place was still vc-reviews. Then you’d know why I trust this place as much as I trust that I’d be fine if I jumped off a bridge.

Honestly do not see the appeal to this. It’s yet another thing Nintendo sell you on with an idea, they overprice it to buggery heck and then they drop it once you’re invested.

They do this every gen, create something that they drop like a bad taste in the mouth.

Just a few over the years, R.O.B, the Power Glove, SNES Scope, N64 Expansion pack, NGC Online adapter, Donkey Konga... 4 games used those bongo’s and 1 didn’t even leave Japan. I loved them too. I really did. I’d buy them again for Switch. Wii Balance Board, Wii Motion Plus. And Amiibo, the concept has been VASTLY superior to the actual reality of them.

And people will throw Guitar Rock Band Hero around but there’s a major difference, those instruments works on almost every game after, you could even use GH gear on RB and vice versa and they had resale value. Good luck selling used cardboard when most people agree the majority of the “fun” is building the damn things as the “games” are concept crap at best.

The best thing about them so far is that they’re customisable (some cool paint jobs) and you can make some rudimentary toys/games but you could do all that with any old cardboard.

Gutted Kimi has stepped down, best President in years. I mean no disrepect to Iwata but he gave us some horrible years and as a Nintendo fan first and foremost going from games like Ocarina and Banjo to waggle sports and worst console in decades killed me a little inside.

So after everything tha Kimi has achieved with Switch, Mario, Zelda and more it saddens me to see him go.

@Shepdawg1 not just Smash, this was due out around the time of USFII so there wasn’t a lot of great fighters, but now there’s so many amazing Neo Geo fighters, a SF collection containing 12 games and more out for the Switch that I think it’s missed its chance at mega high sales.

As we’re getting DC SHMUPS I really want Sturmwind, Giga Wing 1 and 2, Fast Striker, Neo XYX, Borderdown, Mars Matrix, dammit too many to name!

Also would kill to get the Marvel Vs Capcom DC games too.

I had to sell my rather large and rather rare DC collection to fund my Switch so I’m over the moon I’ve been able to buy so many of my SHMUPS and fighters back, it’s like the circle of life 😹

@retro_player_22 agreed, gutted I have to rely on my SNES Mini to play AF1. So many games I’d happily pay for if I could man 😞

Bought it 3 times already, I don’t need it portable and to be honest the game is so reliant on a permanent online connection, this could be a train wreck of a port.

While I adore the design of the PS4 controller, the 8 hour battery makes it by far the worst controller this gen. I think the X1 controller is a major downgrade compared to 360, yeah it has a better D-Pad but I’ve had to have my controller replaced 5 times as that same D-Pad has broken 5 times so my winner, by a clear country mile is the 60 hour battery work horse the Switch’s Pro Controller.
