Re: TIME Names the Nintendo Switch Its Number One Gadget of 2017

Gregory123

Hmm this list is kinda of. almost half of the gadgets on that list are not worth having or special. The Surface laptop has windows 10S and only uses apps from the windows store which is a wasteland. The new echo is cheaper and smaller, really innovated. A drone that uses hand controls and 2 flagship phones, one of which is more than $1000.

Re: Nintendo Approached Cyanogen For Switch OS, But Was Told To "Stick It"

Gregory123

@DanteSolablood I don't think Cyanogen made a smart business decision. Nintendo is a 127 year old company worth billions and has mayor succes with the Wii and DS a couple of years ago and still successful with the 3DS now. They told them to "Stick it" probably because Cyanogen could not make the OS Nintendo wanted in the time given or with the budget they had

Re: Nintendo Switch eShop Purchases Will Be Tied To Your Nintendo Account

Gregory123

@Gaeus Wrong. Games are attached to the hardware. contacting Nintendo is only in case of theft or if the console is broken beyond repair after given to a Nintendo repair center and it will cost you $$$. You don't even have a avatar pic so you are probably a troll. have some scrums and starve. You can only redownload the games from your Nintendo account on the same system. No where in the fine print of a wiiu or 3ds does it say you can relink and redownload

Re: Gallery: These Nintendo Switch VR Mock-Ups Are Rather Eye-Catching

Gregory123

VR is stupid. It's not the future of gaming. it would be like ifa TV came out that only used voice commands and no remote. Playing VR is fun for 30minutes and then what? Glad Nintendo said the Switch is VR "capable" but is in no way planning to do something about it. VR failed before it even came out but the companies tried anyway.

Re: Talking Point: The State of Play - amiibo and Its Next Big Move

@Captain_Gonru The NFC reader/writer is in the controllers not the Switch. Do you think when and if Nintendo makes a Switch "buzzword", the old controllers won't work with it?The only way they would remove NFC is if they would make a new Joycon and a new Pro controller, which they won't because so many people have Amiibo and still buy them. Also fyi, no games have used the touch functionality on the Switch, look at Splatoon 2. So Nintendo designed the Switch with non touch based gaming in mind. Would not surprise me if touch is only used for menu navigation when both Joycons are off and the system is not docked or maybe it will never be used at all. remember the exspansion ports on the NES, SNES and N64 or the DS mic, 3DS 3d AR camera or the Wiiu gamepad camera and gamepad EXT slot. You used them one time or never if you live outside of Japan. So Nintendo has designed systems with features that are never used, functionality be dammed

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Secures Gorgeous Cover on Game Informer Magazine

@Setery10 i think you mean the wiiu gamepad has stereo sound and even if both systems have hdmi the switch version can still have better sound because Nintendo is going to put better sound in the Switch version and not in the Wiiu version. Not my words but Aonuma's: The Switch version will also feature "higher-quality environmental sounds", Nintendo stated. "As a result, the sound of steps, water, grass, etc. are more realistic and enhance the game's Open-Air feel."

Re: Limited Stock Brings Out the Inevitable NES Mini Scalpers

Gregory123

How is this Nintendos fault?if they released 100 in every store one person would buy all of them and sell them on ebay. if the store said, one per person he would just find 99 friends to help him. the stores can't stock 100 of these things because they sell different stuff and can't fill the whole store with mini NES. use your brains and blame the right scumbags. The resellers and the store managers
