This is what happens when you have people vote without playing most of the games. I voted in this list and I am familiar with all of them but played maybe 20 if I had to guess.

You can use AI for many things that won't affect the end quality of the game and as long as there is a person guiding the AI to look in specific areas for things this could be extremely useful. I don't think this is as bad as everyone is thinking. You can have AI for time saving methods but not for art, storytelling, design etc. We will see in the future but don't break out the pitchforks quite yet. But if the end result of the games suffers substantially that is problematic.

@AussieMcBucket I never played the original FF VII and I so far have had an amazing time with the remakes. There are strange story things you may not understand fully but I don't think that should deter you from playing it, its fantastic. I'm sure the original is great as well but as a newcomer I think I benefited better from not knowing what will happen in the original before I played the Remake. Also since you mentioned you're not a big RPG person I think the Remake combat system is more likely to be suitable to your tastes.

@CobaltFan I think the game is worth playing but the price for a game that old is an unreasonable ask from Nintendo.

I think its also bad Gamecube isn't on the original Switch when it could definitely handle it. For paying for the same tier you shouldn't get less

If New Leaf let us have free customization of furniture in the main world it world I would forget New Horizons entirely

I really hope Nintendo loses this they've done too much crap on their own that deserved a lawsuit. I hate that court seems to be pay to win.

@Znake You can't really rightfully compare it to Mario Odyssey because these are remakes of Ps1 games from 1995-2000 not brand new games.

I think that these upgrade packs should just be included. On Ps4 games on Ps5 you get most of the bonuses without paying a dime since on Ps4 the games ran well and played well and on Ps5 they get faster loads because of the more powerful hardware. I would get it if the upgrades for Botw and Totk were in game DLC and not phone dependent but apart from the phone related upgrades the games on Switch 2 just look how a modern game should look and run. You shouldn't have to pay extra for that.

I got 2 Gamecube controllers for my Wii for Christmas because I thought it was compatible with my Wii. It was not. Just for Mario Sunshine. Thats part of what made me very salty about 3d All Stars limited time availabilty because I didn't have a Switch then and its really scummy...

I hope they at least have Spotify support or something like the Ps5 does

Look at the Metroid Prime 4 Switch vs Switch 2 cases its egregiously bad. Less cover art and a paragraph of text at the bottom looks like trash. The red banner is too much and excessive use of space. I also don't think the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition banner is necessary😭🤢🤮

Remember the Super Mario 3d All Stars limited time release... its crap like that again they are testing the limits and a very very slippery slope for the game industry with the amount of crap they're trying to pull.

The paid Switch 2 tour game is very disappointing even Astro's Playroom was free and it looks substantially better compared to what they showed

Im playing Monster Hunter World as well the Nergigante fight was what had me stop playing but I'm doing some side quests and getting stronger and having alot more fun than I ever had with this game. MH4U was the only other one I played and I reeeaaallly liked it. I bought it for 5 bucks on the 3ds eshop at the time and got tons of fun from it. Part of the reason I didn't like World at first was its music wasn't as good as MH4U but I'm enjoying World alot right now

These ports are too dog gone expensive every other company except Nintendo has substantial price drops for their top games over time except them. 60 dollars is too much for a simple re-release

Its the type of game I'd give a solid try if it didn't have switch performance problems. If it was ported to PS5 I would be all in.

For anyone salty that he announced it so early before it comes out I bet its similar to how it feels to be a voice actor and get a super cool role and not be able to share it with anyone and keep it secret he probably reaaaallly wanted to share it with the people even if its so early in development just out of pure excitement and passion for it

I don't know if consoles won't exist but I could imagine a future where the games aren't exclusive to say only PS6 or PS7 but where it is just a new Playstation where you can play any games that come out with your previous library and future games because the games won't be limited by hardware and most games will be playable on new tech. Also in this hypothetical future I think upgrades will be like smart phones where it 1,000 dollars for minimal improvements sporadically.

@sportvater Most opinions on here are fine but this is abysmal. Many, many people care great deals about the PS2 it was a great console with great games and I still am playing it

@PikminMarioKirby The only game on Switch where I think piracy is okay is Super Mario 3d All Stars being delisted when the game exists and is popular for false fomo is pretty scummy. I got a physical copy once I eventually got a Switch after it delisted but not everyone can be that lucky.

@MJF I really liked RPG maker on 3ds but a minor but huge gripe I have with the new one is there isn't a zoomed in option it really sucks because the 3ds camera distance was basically perfect to me.

They could probably bend the rules and put only legacy CoD on Nintendo if the hardware isn't advanced enough

As somebody who plays games alot I do think we should take walks too.

I could see Sega still being as popular as Nintendo today if they played their cards right. They had an immense load of creativity with weird ideas and making them work really well. Also bring back Decap Attack, Echo the Dolphin, Phantasy Star, etc. etc. etc...

I'm the one they're trying to sway, maybe one day...

There better be some really good side characters if Link doesn't talk. Red Dead Online cutscenes intensifies.
