I think you really can't have a Nintendo release without SOME kind of Mario involved... and I think they have 2 choices in terms of Mario: MK9 or Mario Oddyssey 2. If not those then we need Metroid or Donkey Kong.

honestly I'm not sure what id want from Nintendo. I really do hope that they have backwards compatibility but here's my question... how do you top the switch? will they go back to handheld or console again? if console, how do they make their old customers want to buy it. if handheld, will it be basically the same thing just better graphics or will it bring something brand new to the table?

you guys please don't hate me for saying this, but it kinda looks like Nintendo took the worlds from new super Mario bros U and then put mobile game- amount of work into it... you guys I love Mario so much but I really feel like this game looks like a mobile game :`( (I guess ill just have to wait to buy it to be sure though XD)

the switch is probably my choice

they have so many good 1st party games... but they are TECHNICALLY half made up of remasters

there are also some other consoles with GREAT 1st party games too like Mario 64-N64, Mario sunshine-gamecube, most of the games on the classic NES and SNES, and the Wii U... we got to give that thing SOME credit. (we got Splatoon from it )

okay, so Mario himself I think looks better in the game JUST because I mean hey, its-a Mario.

I don't think we have a good enough look at Funky Kong or cranky kong yet to judge them

DONKEY KONG..... yeah im not so sure about him... it could've been worse, but still... ehhhh

im gonna be completely honest, Luigi looks fabulous. he has the right balance of good 'ol Luigi and new cool animation

toad is great too in the same way that Luigi is.

Honestly, I'm not sure what I want from Nintendo. the switch was such a success, im not sure if they are ever going to make a regular console ever again. Do I want them to? im not sure. do I want them to make ANOTHER normal console? No clue. Im excited to see how they surprise us next

during the pandemic, I had wanted to buy a Nintendo Switch. but I had gone everywhere, checked every store near me and I still couldn't find one. I decided that I wanted to get a Wii U until the pandemic was over and then I could buy a switch when they were all stocked again. Well, I checked every store (and by every store I mean game x change) and they said that as soon as everyone realized that the switches were going out of stock all the time, people RAN to the Wii U. I eventually found a switch, so I didn't buy a Wii U, but it was (even though it had an unsuccessful launch) a great console and still loved by many people
