I’m ok with this. I’m loving this game but I do think everything is a bit too expensive. Feels like every door, every item, every bench has a heavy cost. Maybe there’s a metaphor there?

I do like how not every big fight locks you in the room and how often your silk is at the entrance so if you decide to NOPE on that particular fight you can still get your stuff back. The difficulty has been really enjoyable in some parts and really frustrating in others…which is what I expect from the sequel to hollow knight!

Unless it’s a first party Nintendo game I usually wait for a game to be $20 or under before buying. So thanks team cherry! Day one purchase for me!

Honestly I’m not too sure about this one. After seeing that samus has “psychic” powers I cringed. I’m gonna get it day one regardless but I’m pretty skeptical at this point.

I found Hollow Knight very hard at first. I got stuck for a while. Put it down. Came back. Made progress. I love the atmosphere and music. And the late game secrets were just so satisfying. This will be a day one buy for me. Add it to the never ending backlog.

At this rate and with all the hype this should be game of the century right?

I bought the rog ally X this winter. Bought the switch 2 at release. Haven’t touched my ROG since. If they put RDR2 on the switch 2 I may never touch the ROG again 🤣

My problem, at least with the switch one, is that no other controller can compare with the pro. I’ve tried multiple third party and they all suck hardcore. Plus none that I’ve tried anyways have rumble or NFC.

Ehhh I think they shut this down with good reason. 5 years since the game was announced. Everwild was announced 6 years ago. At some point you have to crap or get off the toilet. Just wasting time and money.

I missed out on the Mario odyssey hype. Super excited to play this one. I have preordered it because I didn’t want to have to worry about finding a copy day 1.

Picked one up from my local GameStop on launch day. Didn’t expect they’d have any and I’m realizing more and more how lucky I was.

I thought nobody bought this game because it cost $80?!! The outrage!!!!

Saw a video a while ago about how Nintendo was abandoning Diddy Kong because of a certain individual that shares his name. Literally the next day Nintendo revealed Diddy Kong’s redesign.

Of course headlines without legitimate fact checking are the norm for the news now anyways.

Used a game voucher for it but just couldn’t stomach the graphics.

I was mildly intrigued at the reveal trailer. But today’s direct sealed the deal for me. Looks amazing!

As soon as I saw the size of that screen I carefully placed it in the dock and prime shipped a case and screen protector.

First Mario kart game where I can be in 10th place and the first place racer is right in front of me. 24 racers is chaotic fun.

I think the upgrade path will be the make or break for many third party developers.

I didn’t even question upgrading Hogwarts legacy. $10 for the switch 2 version and now I own both? Uh yes!

I’m glad I didn’t buy Sonic X shadows. Didn’t know it was digital only. Made that mistake with split fiction.

Use the YouTube app on switch as a sleep aid. Also with the top USB charging port the switch 2 will likely replace my iPad for portable streaming. Hoping other streaming apps come to the console.

@IronMan30 I wandered around after work yesterday. Best Buy and target were sold out. I was shocked that GameStop still had several units. I had no plans to get one yesterday. But I ended up picking up the Mario kart bundle.

I’m baffled and annoyed that YouTube and Hulu are not working on switch 2. Such a weird thing…

It’s a safe bet for a safe new system. It is shocking that they don’t have any other new big titles announced though. A new Mario kart, new donkey Kong and a game that was announced 7 years ago. Pretty crazy to me.

I think the US is better box art but man the Japanese cover is so cool. Love to have a poster of that on my wall.

Finally after 9 years we’re getting the most basic features for a portable device. Next thing it’ll be something crazy like WALLPAPER!!!
