Re: Talking Point: What Game Do You Wish You Could Forget?

DjinnFighter

I would go with Bouken Jidai Katsugeki Goemon on PS2. I was a big Goemon fan as a kid (and still am), and I was so excited for Bouken Jidai, but it never was released here. It took me 15 years to finally play it, after I learned enough japanese and imported a japanese PS2. It was a very special experience, to finally play an old game that I was so excited about as a kid.
The game is good, but it was made better by that context. If I could forget this game, I could relive that feeling.

Re: Rumour: Could We Be Getting New NES And SNES Games For Switch Online?

@TKundNobody I agree that it's confusing, and very bad naming, but Super Bomberman R and Super Bomberman R Online are two completely different games. Super Bomberman R is a traditional Bomberman game, with a story mode, and classic multiplayer. Super Bomberman R Online is a free-to-play battle royale game, it doesn't have a story mode or the classic multiplayer formula.

Re: Switch Hackers Add Controller Pak Support To N64's Online Library

DjinnFighter

@Clyde_Radcliffe I think most of the games that need a Controller Pak don't support rumble. But, for games that support both (like Winback), they should have done a solution to automatically switch to Controller Pak when saving/loading, and then switch to Rumble Pak anytime else. It's a bit more work sure, but save states shouldn't replace the real way to save the game. Using save states to save isn't faithful to the original experience.

Also, personally, I would prioritize Controller Pak over Rumble Pak anytime, but that might just be me.
