Re: Sonic Team's Boss Wants To Put More Sonic Characters In The Spotlight

DjinnFighter

Year of Shadow was one of the best marketing strategy I've seen, it really brought me back to Sonic after years of not being really interested.

But I don't feel like it can be repeated, Shadow's popularity and hype factor are just on a different level. Amy is fun and popular, but I have a hard time imagining a Year of Amy being exciting like the Year of Shadow.

But maybe it's ok, maybe it doesn't have to be as hype as Shadow, it just needs to be more exciting than any regular year.

@Vyacheslav333 Kiwami 1 & 2 were not on Wii U, it's the original Yakuza 1&2 that were on Wii U. Kiwami 2 was released during the Switch era.

Also, Kiwami 2 was made on a different, superior engine (Dragon Engine). It would have to be downgraded to be ported to Switch 1.

But yea, Yakuza 0 could have been on Switch 1, it's indeed a PS3 game.

Re: Feature: 27 GameCube Games We'd Love To See On Nintendo Switch 2 NSO

@burndive I absolutely want TP on GC NSO. It's one of my favorite games ever and I don't really want them to remake it. It's such a good game, I feel like it would be hard to make it really better, but easy to make it worse.

The HD version was better, but not that much. The original versions are still great.

And if it's on NSO, I won't have to buy it a 4th time.

Re: Capcom Outlines Its 'Tokyo Game Show 2024' Online Program

@Serpenterror Since they put BOF1 and BOF2 on NSO, it makes me feel they don't plan on making a Breath of Fire collection at all.

Which is a bit weird considering they are Capcom and they make tons of collections

Same for Ghosts n Goblins, they added Ghosts 'n Goblins, Ghouls 'n Ghosts and Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts on NSO instead.

@Serpenterror You're asking a lot. Based on other collections from Konami, I wouldn't expect that many games in the same collection.

The 4 main SFC games for sure. Probably the 2 main FC games. Maybe the first GB game. If we're lucky, the 2 main N64 games, but Konami collections focus mostly on 2D sprite-based games.
