Switch Online's 'Missions & Rewards' Adds Mario vs. Donkey Kong Icons

I still wait patiently for a King K. Rool Switch profile icon.

@Handy_Man it would be awesome if we got an icon for each of the Smash Ultimate fighters. Some might argue it would be difficult to negotiate the third-party rights, but like... would it, though? They just need permission to use a JPEG that serves as free marketing for their IP. I don't see any reason a company wouldn't be willing to get on board if they already consented to put their character in Smash.

Edit: This definitely isn't going to happen, but how sick would it be if every Spirit became a Switch profile icon? Then you could have Rayman, Shantae, Shovel Knight, Cuphead, Leon Kennedy, Tails, Knuckles... even first party characters we're sorely missing like Ghirahim, Midna, Tetra, Dixie Kong, Chibi-Robo. That'd be so awesome. Get busy, Nintendo.

Kind of mostly just serves to make me annoyed they didn't bother to do Another Code ones. Really kind of threw that collection out to die.

Does anyone know why the game was released a day early? I swear it was meant to release on 16th but I got it on the 15th

Mario gets proper icons from the game but the Donkey Kong one isn't even from Mario VS DK. It's an old Super Mario Party render 👎

I don't really care much for these icons, but I'm gonna be picking up the game at some point today. Looking forward to playing it since I never played the original on GBA.
