Re: Feature: Breaking Down the My Nintendo Loyalty Economy

This is freaking awesome to me. Look at platinum points:

35 daily/245 weekly from Miitomo (easy if we all work together) +
60 weekly from Miiverse/eShop

So 305 weekly or 1220 monthly. That's pretty great and will easily earn you rewards. That being said, I'm not too interested in what's on offer for platinum points, but it may change when this hits NA. I'm not buying a thing till it launches, so hopefully it's out before Hyrule Warriors Legends!

I'm pretty excited for Mutant Mudds but I'm not buying a thing from the eShop until MyNintendo launches, since we now know that purchases won't be counted retroactively.

Man, I can wait on Mudds but I hope it's out by next Friday. I don't want to wait too long for Hyrule Warriors...

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Software Technology Working On Free-To-Play amiibo Game, Could Be Switching To Mobile In The Future

I've always thought a Nintendoland 2 where scanning different figures unlocks different attractions would be pretty swell. Especially if they all had stamps and crowns and whatnot.

For instance, scanning any Mario-related amiibo could get Mario Chase (again just as an example) and then further amiibos could unlock new costumes like Luigi or DK. I dunno, that's just my thought.

Can't wait for this to come out! I played it when the Nindies@Home program first began and it was my favorite of the bunch. I'm really hoping that it delivers (not that it matters, I'll likely buy anyway, lol) because this could easily be my indie game of the year.

1/10, really? I understand a low score but 1/10 is usually reserved for games that are actually buggy. This sounds like it works just fine.

Although I guess The Letter also got 1/10 and it's not really that buggy either.

Hopefully Collectable Badge Center and N64 VC. I can see Animal Crossing being revealed, but something like Paper Mario or Metroid would probably need to be an E3 reveal. After all, if it's not coming until Winter then it doesn't really matter if we don't know about it for a couple more months!

I'm also hoping to see something about a new Wii U update or Miiverse update. Feels like it's been quite awhile since we got a Wii U update and Miiverse has mostly just been messing with the activity feed.

My ultimate hope is probably N64 or DS VC but man...news on some more New 3DS exlusives, probably remakes, would be great.

Re: Review: PENTAPUZZLE (Wii U eShop)

I like it. It's a fun little time-waster and I enjoy being able to play what I call the "Monster Manor puzzles" at any time. I do wish that the game focused a bit more on the "special" puzzles though.

What do people not like about the music? That's one complaint I don't get. Well, let me rephrase that. I certainly get not liking that there's only one song that loops the whole game, but hey, at least it's pretty catchy right? It's a good song.

I won't buy anything new for awhile (unless MMBN3 or Zero 2 comes out in NA or we get a surprise during a Direct or or or) but I guess this should be on the top of my list. I still have to finish up Hyrule Warriors though! Three maps down, and the Majora one is coming along nicely. Then Xenoblade will release, and once again I'll be consumed.

I honestly think Nintendo could make some neat iPhone-focused games. Pokemon Shuffle would be at home there, and they could totally do a simplistic Kirby Canvas Curse sort of thing there. Even a Mario endless runner/platformer or a few VC games would work fine.

Whatever they make needs to also be available for the same price on their systems, but I think that they could make a few cool smartphone games...just not with their main dev teams or game ideas.
