Re: Feature: Miitomo's Initial Success Doesn't Mask Lessons to be Learned for Future Nintendo Apps

I disagree. My Wife and I enjoy the app and are the only ones to still use it. It allows us to have fun little conversations while eachother is at work. Texting eachother really doesn't have the same affect since we don't take lunch at the same time lol.

I really enjoy this app, byt I can understand why others don't. Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing should be different beasts

@russellohh You might need to branch out a bit, tons of mobile games are great, there is a very large number of terrible ones, but still tons of great ones. I love the Where's My Water series and Cut the Rope. Pokemon Shuffle was a lot of fun, and I expect Pokemon Go to be amazing.

You know what I think would be cool for a Toys to Life game. Make the toys the "random" packs instead of micro transactions. The toys are your character's gear. It can be ungraded and enhanced but it remains mostly what the toy is (sword, bow, shield, magic staff, helmet) The toys become your inventory.

So you have your RPG character with their stats, then you buy equipment from a store and scan it into the game to use it. The company could also sell a figure that could hold your "toys" to make it look awesome. Any enhancements or stat changes could be saved to your equipment then you can trade (or sell) to others to get different equipment.

The toys could be small and cheap, and I think it would breath new life into the market. You could even have new toy expansions release or just put new toys in the old packaging to try to increase the randomization. If each purchase was only a few dollars, I think it could be a impulse buy while at the store, just to test your luck. Might get that rare drop.

The enhancing weapons would be needed to make people feel like they can make a bad drop good. The more powerful the drop, the less enhancing you can do, to balance it out a bit...

If I were to make a Toys to Life game, that is what I would do lol. (I would also make a website to facilitate selling your old items and take a small cut, further increasing income)

The timing could have been better but I don't think many/if any big companies would fire someone over an internet attack unless it negatively impacted her work performance, which then that person would be fired for that and not the attacks. Any company as big as Nintendo probably doesn't care about those online attacks. I don't think this will become the norm for big companies.

Sadly, smaller companies risk a lot more keeping employees that get targeted.
