Re: Soapbox: No, Star Fox Zero's Controls Are not Bad or Broken

@Yorumi And to be fair, you don't know how intrusive the controls will be, especially after you get use to them. When there is a new control method it will take time for people to get use to them. It took me a while to get use to Splatoon controls, which I think will are more difficult that Star Fox controls. From my experience the controls aren't intrusive, but it isn't something that you instantly can easily handle, because it isn't the same as other games. You need to get use to the controls.

I know a lot of people were struggling with the game at E3 last year, but I really enjoyed it. Most people just weren't using their charge shots, which is kinda a big deal in Star Fox. I just figured those people weren't as good at Star Fox as me, even though I suck at the games but I love them anyway.

I thought the controls were really fun.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of My Nintendo and Miitomo?

DefHalan

@Enigk Not sure what you mean. I haven't paid a cent yet. I think they only charge you for the in-game currency you use to dress up your Mii, a totally optional thing. They also hand out that in-game currency like candy in the game, so I am not sure if they will actually make much off this app lol.

I think the coins expire too quickly. Extend coin expiration to over a year, and I think it would be much more worth it. Just some quick math means you need to spend around $250 in the eShop within 6 months to get Donkey Kong Country Returns or Super Luigi U DLC. That is about 4 big titles in 6 months... Do people normally spend that much? Maybe if it was a year, it would be better.

Re: Guide: Getting Started With My Nintendo

@RCMADIAX Really? So when an item is on sale, you get the non-sale points? That is good to know. I have heard it is better to put your game on sale rather than drop the price in the eShop, but most of your games are below that limit. Maybe you could increase their price to $5 and just always have them on sale lol

Still sucks NES games won't count.

Re: Guide: Getting Started With My Nintendo

@ThomasBW84 But making a $10 purchase then a $40 purchase won't add up to a $50 purchase making it impossible to spend $70 or more. I don't even think you could spend $60 or more since most games max out at $59.99

Hopefully Miitomo will be connected to future systems and you Mii Outfits can also be accessed on those systems and it can come closer to Xbox Avatars, but better lol

Re: Talking Point: My Nintendo and Its Account System Start The Process of Unifying Platforms

DefHalan

@JaxonH We will see what happens. I totally understand the reason of not having accounts as open and flexible as Microsoft or Sony. I know some people that are able to purchase some games, download then and play them on two consoles, with different accounts. But it is extremely easy for customers to use and is basically zero headache when trying to upgrade or get a special version system.

Re: Talking Point: My Nintendo and Its Account System Start The Process of Unifying Platforms

The amount of people that don't know your purchases are tied to your account is incredible. I know there were issues at the beginning of the Wii U but they have been cleared up now. It doesn't work exactly like Microsoft and Sony, but it is a lot better than it was. But I guess that is what happens when most media outlets ignore a system, the updates get ignored and news stops reaching users.

I like how most people hate Other M, but it gets a digital re-release and is one of the most voted for releases for the week. I know I would buy it, since I haven't played it, but I think it is funny.
