@Yorumi And to be fair, you don't know how intrusive the controls will be, especially after you get use to them. When there is a new control method it will take time for people to get use to them. It took me a while to get use to Splatoon controls, which I think will are more difficult that Star Fox controls. From my experience the controls aren't intrusive, but it isn't something that you instantly can easily handle, because it isn't the same as other games. You need to get use to the controls.
@ULTRA-64 Local Vs probably won't happen because of the controls. Only 1 person on the system could have the two screens and motion aiming. It could be interesting to have system vs system online battles. 1 pilot, 1 gunner vs 1 pilot, 1 gunner.
@Yorumi It didn't take me a hour to get use to the controls. It took me a minute and I was at E3 at the time, lots of distractions. They are pretty easy to get use to, the hard part is moving your eyes between two screens.
I know a lot of people were struggling with the game at E3 last year, but I really enjoyed it. Most people just weren't using their charge shots, which is kinda a big deal in Star Fox. I just figured those people weren't as good at Star Fox as me, even though I suck at the games but I love them anyway.
@ULTRA-64 I think anything could happen with updates and DLC later, but it is pretty unlikely. It is for sure not having multiplayer (outside of the Co-op) at launch.
@Enigk Not sure what you mean. I haven't paid a cent yet. I think they only charge you for the in-game currency you use to dress up your Mii, a totally optional thing. They also hand out that in-game currency like candy in the game, so I am not sure if they will actually make much off this app lol.
I think the coins expire too quickly. Extend coin expiration to over a year, and I think it would be much more worth it. Just some quick math means you need to spend around $250 in the eShop within 6 months to get Donkey Kong Country Returns or Super Luigi U DLC. That is about 4 big titles in 6 months... Do people normally spend that much? Maybe if it was a year, it would be better.
@Mr_Zurkon I e-mailed them, and they told me how to redeem the PC copy that I originally got, which I gave my friend since I was also promised a Wii U copy, so we will see if they give me another PC code.
@ThomasBW84 Just means it will take longer than I hoped lol. Plus with coins expiring after 6 months, who knows if I will ever be able to save up to get something worth while.
@RCMADIAX Really? So when an item is on sale, you get the non-sale points? That is good to know. I have heard it is better to put your game on sale rather than drop the price in the eShop, but most of your games are below that limit. Maybe you could increase their price to $5 and just always have them on sale lol
@ThomasBW84 But making a $10 purchase then a $40 purchase won't add up to a $50 purchase making it impossible to spend $70 or more. I don't even think you could spend $60 or more since most games max out at $59.99
Day 1 if released in US. Plus it would only be like 2 bucks because I own it on Wii. I actually used the Wii feature to send photos to my friends a few times lol
Hopefully Miitomo will be connected to future systems and you Mii Outfits can also be accessed on those systems and it can come closer to Xbox Avatars, but better lol
@kobashi100 from what I have heard you don't need a police report. That was from their older policy. You aren't asking for premission to get your content, you are getting your content transfered to a new console. I am not defending them either. I am just saying how it is now.
@Cyberbotv2 That is how I felt with the 360... then Microsoft didn't make the Xbox One Backward Compatible. Now my preferred gaming machines in order are Wii U, 3DS, PC, Mobile. I have thought about getting a PS4 or XB1 (especially now that XB1 has BC) but I am not sure if it would be worth it for a 5th machine that I play less than mobile lol
@JaxonH We will see what happens. I totally understand the reason of not having accounts as open and flexible as Microsoft or Sony. I know some people that are able to purchase some games, download then and play them on two consoles, with different accounts. But it is extremely easy for customers to use and is basically zero headache when trying to upgrade or get a special version system.
The amount of people that don't know your purchases are tied to your account is incredible. I know there were issues at the beginning of the Wii U but they have been cleared up now. It doesn't work exactly like Microsoft and Sony, but it is a lot better than it was. But I guess that is what happens when most media outlets ignore a system, the updates get ignored and news stops reaching users.
I like Pokemon for the hunting/collecting which I think this is going to do very well. Plus this is only the launch of the app. Who knows what it will build towards.
I like how most people hate Other M, but it gets a digital re-release and is one of the most voted for releases for the week. I know I would buy it, since I haven't played it, but I think it is funny.
@Romeo-75 I got it, thanks. I am really excited for this. I love the Mario vs Donkey Kong series and I am only missing 1 of the compatible amiibo. Thanks
@leo13 I am only missing Robin from all the Fire Emblem characters. Hopefully 1 day I will find him, but my funds are currently going towards amiibo I can find in store. Once those run out, I will turn my funds to importing or whatever.
@DoctorOverbuild From what I have seen, it looks to be on Par. I am not sure if this has level creation. Each character having special abilities sounds pretty interesting to me lol

Re: Soapbox: No, Star Fox Zero's Controls Are not Bad or Broken
@Yorumi You do seem to be focusing on those negative comments instead of discussing with people that offer further input on SFZ control impressions.
Re: Soapbox: No, Star Fox Zero's Controls Are not Bad or Broken
@Yorumi "Funny how people are never up in arms against people with positive opinions of nintendo."
You must be new to the Internet.

@Haz ... Maybe we were in line together... crazy. lol
Re: Soapbox: No, Star Fox Zero's Controls Are not Bad or Broken
@IceClimbers I think I heard there was a way, but I didn't use that at E3, so I can't be sure.

Re: Road Redemption Developer Says It's Still "Actively Pursuing Wii U Development"
Well they already gave me a Steam code instead of a Wii U version and they probably lost me as a customer even if it does come to Wii U
Re: Guide: Getting Started With My Nintendo
@TheWPCTraveler I live in California and there is no tax on digital games.
Re: Poll: What Do You Think of My Nintendo and Miitomo?
@Mr_Zurkon Totally agree

Re: Road Redemption's Wii U Release is Looking Rather Doubtful
@gatorboi352 Yes, and they already got money for a Wii U version.
Re: Road Redemption's Wii U Release is Looking Rather Doubtful
@Mr_Zurkon Thanks... at least I can play the game I guess. I really wanted to play it on Wii U
Re: Road Redemption's Wii U Release is Looking Rather Doubtful
@Mr_Zurkon They sent me another Steam code. Hopefully it works lol.

Re: Road Redemption's Wii U Release is Looking Rather Doubtful
@Mr_Zurkon Nope.
Re: Road Redemption's Wii U Release is Looking Rather Doubtful
That sucks. I backed it for the Wii U version.
Re: Guide: Getting Started With My Nintendo
@Parkour_LMan I doubt that. Also they could have always added those rewards later. I just find it a weird choice.
Re: My Nintendo Platinum Points Are Being Gifted to Former Club Nintendo Members in North America
What if I had to use a different e-mail address for my Nintendo Account but my Nintendo Network ID is the same?

Re: Guide: Getting Started With My Nintendo
@RCMADIAX Most of your games will earn us Zero points.
Re: Guide: Getting Started With My Nintendo
@MarinaKat eShop doesn't have a cart, except with DLC. You make each purchase separtely
Re: Guide: Getting Started With My Nintendo
Also games $4.99 and below you don't get any points for.

I am hoping those Gold Coins stack or something. I don't know how else you could spend over $70 in one purchase.

@LegendOfPokemon Olli Olli was actual cross-buy Mutant Mudds Super Challenge and Tipping Stars gave you a code for the other system.

@Romeo-75 I would like it, if you still have it. My e-mail is my username at yahoo.com

I was waiting to buy Bowser Jr. for this deal... but Bowser Jr. is TRU exclusive... dang
Re: Shovel Knight Is Playable in Mutant Mudds Super Challenge
It would have been cool to unlock him using the amiibo too lol. Max from Mutant Mudds needs an amiibo too
EDIT: Scanning the Max amiibo could give you access to all the power ups for the rest of the level or something (still need to pick this game up)
Re: More Official Pokémon Go Gameplay Details Emerge
@Monkeh It is shaped like that because that is how GPS icons are shaped lol
Re: Soapbox: Nintendo Was Wrong To Turn Its Back On The Wii Remote
I would love a new motion controller based console, but offering a more generic control method for developers would also be good.
Re: More Official Pokémon Go Gameplay Details Emerge
I would love to try this out and it seems ingress would be a good way, but would it be worth getting into now?
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th March (North America)
Not a bad week... except, I have no money
