What i'm a bit worried about is that the island looks a bit small and doesn't have any terrain. I hoped they'd increase size over new leave and give back terrain like we had in city folk.

So, investors cry about cloud streaming on a handheld? How many countries have unlimited mobile internet and good enough downloadspeeds? Also this whole pushing for a new switch is absurd, just came out and people want it replaced.

I'm a bit let down by the lack of Isabelle. Also, the map don't look any bigger than the DS games?

Can't they add one or two of those guys to mario kart 8?

What would you expect from a game that is a spin of from a title that was and is in a buggy and messy state since open access / green light? To make it even better they got "technical advice and input" from the arc devs. Bound to suck.

Digimon World 3 was my game and i loved it to bits. Shame i never got in to the DW games on PS4, was to much information at the begging of the game that kept my lazy brain from easing in.

Nintendos issues with the switch they just can't do normal:
1.) The issue with communication and party creation on the switch
2.) If you can party up, it wont necessary allow you to play against other players with friends but bots...
3.) Bluetooth locked.

I mean, the PSP Go and vita had those basics figured out.

I wouldn't call it a shot at nintendo. Considering that the mobile marked has a billion games, adding a controller to a phone doesn't make it a switch knockoff or something that wants to imitate it.

Twice the price because it has a graphic on it? Bet that increases performance.

Something more exciting than Pokemon? Make Pokemon for adults with lots of deep and long storys littered over the world. Wouldn't mind playing a Team Rocket member or founding my own rival organization.

I'd like to start playing again, but i really don't want to learn those pendulum things and those new pointy blue cards...

Of all the AC titles they chose this?? Are they trying to make some money of AC3 in retrospect?

the mortal combat movies did a pretty good job of bringing the games to the big screen...

Back then, i don't think there was much of a lore or story in the mortal combat game, only brutal fighting, which the movie did really nice and it had lot's of cool magic [removed]. Also the music is lit af.

I don't know why every site is riding the google stadia, calling it the killer of traditional games and talking about it as if it was new. Cloud gaming is NOT new and will never replace local gaming rigs.

The only places you get good enough internet connections are 1 world major cities and even there it's barelly doable. Any form of competitive gaming will not be possible thanks to the input delay and lag.

One can just go right now to DecalGirl and have a custom print made for any controller and character in a nice fitting skin. Ofc, having it painted is something else, but i don't think nintendo will be to nice to them about copyright and what not.

Using my Note 8 with Gear VR is barely ok, wonder how 720p on a 7" screen is gona be.

Can we take a moment and think about the fact that if the joycons aren't a thing on the mini, we can have a more ergonomic layout?

Add normal bluetooth-support, JoyCon Function Buttons that emulate JoyCon functions for games that need them and put power and volume buttons to the bottom.

Honestly, soon we'll reach performance levels on smarphones that would go to waste if we didn't get full fledget titles on them. The few things that need fixing before game devs shift to the mobile platform would be:

A common minimum hardware starting point with a standard performance classification that one could slap on the game and when you check the game out with your old galaxy s4, i'd would tell you "you can play it" or "you can play it but settings are reduced".

A standard controller because touch input is bad for gaming. Best would be a PSP GO style phone imo.

Using USB C in a Samsung Dex like fashion for the "home console" form factor build in to the OS.

Destict classifications of those games that don't allow a 60$ game to have time locks on them that require watching ads/buying premium currency.

Considering that this is nintendo, they'll stumble and crash for the first 1-2 years looking back at some minless ideas the have for the switch (locked BT and no onboard communication app).

Considering that some games need joycons, i doubt there will be a "uni-body" switch. Remember the PSVita TV? Good chunk of games was off-limits.

Digital is more practical considering some aspects, but sucks if you want to share a game or switch systems. IF digital games in general had a permanent save storage where i could ez download the game in 20y if i lose it for some reason, i'd only buy digital. For now, i'll only get essencial games as digital.

Sony once stood shoulder to shoulder with nintendo in the handheld marked with the PSP. But hey, let's mess everything up with a expensive, limiting and garbage-features loaded vita.

@bluemujika better than breeding and hatching trillions of egs to get the perfect IV + character pokemon just to grind specific pokemon for AV. Let's Go opend up a easy way for us normie fans to get some beefy pokemon without wasting our life away.

I didn't believe that the game would be any good before release, but it's not bad. I love the way you encounter pokemon, where one can dodge whichever you don't want. Also the new way to get good IV pokemon is nice for a poke casual like me. What's bad are the non existing battle animations, which make the 3D stuff obsolete.

The games have brought some nice changes to the series, but also some bad ones. I hope the good ones will make it in to the main series games coming 2019.

Well, for whatever they need it. if i could do it, i'd hack myself a mew. Not fond of spending money on hardware to get a DLC that should be included in the game without rl obstacles.

My toughts on Huaweis claim:

• CPU wise, the Tegra X1 is lacking and was overtaken tech-world-ages ago and the NEW Kirin 980 is supposedly faster than the current top Apple SoC, which would put it somewhere around Intel Core i5-7Y57 performance, if my memories serve me right, which would be frightening performance in a phone.
• The X1's Maxwell GPU is performance wise close to a Intel HD 630 integrated GPU, which doesn't seem much, but considering that the closest Phone SoC (Adreno 640) hovers around the Intel HD 615 region the conclusion seems simple. Kirini uses ARM Mali GPU, which is a bit slower than Adreno and they need to bridge a 70% performance gap between the fastest Mali/Adreno to the Maxwell X1... How?
• Games: There are millions mpre Android games than Switch games, but how many of them are that good that they could beet the best selling switch games? I doubt many.

Huawei is probably banking on sold units of their device vs switch units, in the near future of course. Which would be cheating, considering how big huawei is and where their main customer base is.

Shame that the world size is limited by the save regulations. 3072 x 3072 isn't cutting it for since i like the do themed build and gap them with nice transportation paths.

@-Juice- I can understand your point, but they censor the siliest things and sometimes remove features like the rub feature in FE:Fates. Even silier was the censorship of bikinis in the FE:Awakening DLC. We in the west are exposed to so much more than japan and jet we get the child treatment.

Fire Emblem isn't even a game for kids, with all the TBS.

I wouldn't be mad if it was a one time thing but it's in every damn game that has just a little glimpse of adult related content. Whats worse are the SJW localisations. Just research it for Fates, the damnable guy doing the translations was boasting on twitter how he changed everything to make males look stupid. Best part was when he edited a flirt scene between two partners into this: "Male: hnnnnnnnnhnnnnnnnnhnnnnnnnn" < not joking.

Insanety hasn't stoped. Terrible Save-Back Ups, lot's of SJW translators butchering localizations and Nintendo doesn't care, censorship in the west cuz "we can't handle it", the team functinality of the switch and missing bluetooth, ect.

@mozzy1 I plaa it on PC and there it's already very intense for me. Can't imagine it with slow controlls of a gamepad.

They should have done what sony did and bundled it with 3 popular games for a stupidly good price. Just printing mario on the box and giving 12Switch out for free doesn't sell like 3 major games for free.

The last 3 Digimon Games came like 1 Year after the japanese release. I hope this won't be the case with this one, tired of getting all the hype just to go limp on release.

Let them fix the connection issues before anti cheat. I'd rather hanga round a cheater than to lose connection for no reason. The only worse experience would be UbiSoft games regarding connection issues, but Nintendo is closing in on them. And no, it's not my Provider, Router or general Connection. Only having this issue with UbiSoft game or Nintendo.

I already found the resolution of my Note 8 + Gear VR lacking but that ther is likew 1/4 of it.

Shame. Some mods were essential for better performance and visuals. I bet something like the "Toon Skyrim" mod would do wonders for the switch version.

Wouldn't mind if:
1. I'll never lose access to my games
2. Can download them in 2050 without having to spend a penny
3. Prices get normal (switzerlands eshop is like 10-15$ more expensive than retail)

@Anti-Matter That's basically a monitor with controllers, what is breaking the law? Even hacking your switch isn't illegal, as long as you don't abuse it. Ofc, nintendo will ban you (now) for the hacked switch but i really want to see nintendo bann someone for playing with a diy rig like the one shown here, would pretty fast turn in to a disaster for nintendo.

Wow, i'm disappointed. Pokemon (Main Series) and Animal Crossing (Main Series) where the games i was most hyped about and really hoped on getting early in the switch lifecycle. Looks like even two years (!) after release, i'm only going to be disappointed. And when the games release, i will have moved on and won't be touching them.

If it happens, the only thing that you will enjoy is training range. Just played FFA comp mode. It mixes players from highest and lowest ranking as if it wasn't an issue. They got 2 years worth of MMR and yet don't use it for a competitive mode. played 13 games. Lost 7 games = 275sr gone forever. "Won" 5 (placing in top 4 counts as win) gained 13sr.

If the games continues to be this toxic and unfair in matchmaking, i sure as hell wont buy it on switch. When the switch released, i really would have loved it, but after 2 years experiencing OW, no thanks.

To be fair, they don't have to many titles on the switch and most of them are ports that where out for a while on other systems. I just hope that not to many games with online features will come from them. Their online service is terrible to the point of prefering dial up to a ubi online game.

Maybe a switch trackmania or anno would curb the sales more.
