Well, that art- and side scrolling style is how old? Older than a lot of peoples grandparents. Now, just because of an ancient artstyle you can't just call something a clone. That would make 99% of all games clones. Same mechanics? Pls, how many new mechanics do we get every year?
Wait, i know the lite has a redesigned analog stick, yet, people already report issue 10 days after launch? Didn't it take like 2 years for the first drift issues to manifest?
Damn, I was hoping for a new edge pro, but judging by the size of the tablet, it's probably a android based one. They could be using the refresh Tegra X1 or the SD 8CX.
Idk why razer thinks a gaming tablet for Android would sell, after their Android home console failed.
I hoped for a pro-joycon, meant for single player / handheld use with superior ergonomics, but i kinda fixed my issues with joystick caps and a circle-dpad addon.
You can't have crossplatform progression if you're pulling statistics from PC and consoles, which have had people play for years now and have established ranks. What rank do you give a seasoned master player on PC when he transfers his data to the switch?
Crossplay would also be super unfair considering the superior PC platform and console players already being 3 years ahead of the switch.
Uh, i don't know if i'd call this good news. I've always had issues with staying connected when it commes to nintendo. Mario Kart 8 on the WiiU and the same on the Switch, i sometimes have good nights where i stay connected for 1-2 hours and then have games where i fly every 10 minutes.
I really want to play it, since i have that urge from Tag Force 5 (PSP). Sadly, i hate the new rules with those link cards... Also that "con" point "too random", that's a requirement, else everyone would just stack the cards in a OTK manner...
So it is basically a downloadcode in form of a cardridge? Beter be able to play the games without the cardridge after having to download more than 50% of the game.
Be it sony or nintendo, never had any issues with any console and handheld. The only time i had something break was the original DS screen after i put it in my front pocket once. Lookd like the screen cracked from the inside.
Nintendos cloud saves might as well not exist. The most important games, which are based on long playtime, collecting and personalizing don't support it. lol
I swear, devs and publishers will react in nanoseconds if it's regarding something buyable, but when it's about gamebalance or bad patches, it takes forever.
The one thing that bugs me hard: Don't you need to carry a bulky HDMI cable with you anyway? I mean, most outlets are placed 30-40cm above the floor and will require you to have 3 meter HDMI cable going from the dock in the outlet, to your TV.
I find a better solution is to buy a 5$ shell for your original dock, making it super small and taking that with you. If you're creative, you could make everything fit in a small pouch, plugged in and ready, just waiting for you to power it and connect to the tv.
I'd consider a new switch if they enable bluetooth and have a proper social network. Can't be possible that they haven't seen how to do it properly. If you can't do it, collaborate with discord.
You got the most powerful mobile soc on the marked, but can't use bluetooth, THE thing that makes something truly mobile and tangle free. Not to mention that you need to use your phone instead of your console to communicate or party up...
It's the first time i've heard of that issue. The analog sticks on EVERY controller ever made can start drifting after some heavy abuse. Has happened to my PS3 dualshock after some flying lesson.
Why people won't send it to warranty or at least do a video showing their joycons misbehaving instead of directly doing a lawsuit is beyond me.
Edit: If i got the drifting issue after i had abused my joycon, i'd just get a replacement analogstcik for like 3€ and repair it in 20mins~
So is it a bigger battery? If yes, i hope to install it myself in my current one. I doubt a simple improvement in battery usage like XDA reported results in a battery doubling.
I've posted it a while ago in the forum, but this is old news. Kernel Devs have long time ago revealed what the new tegra was all about. Nvidia had to release a refresh since the "old" X1 couldn't support Android 9.0 and above. The new specs where in a XDA article and where "higher max boost" for the GPU, better power management.
The original XDA developer article has some additional news on the SoC, go check it out.
Damn, such a chance to make a transparent handheld again and nintendo didn't do it! :/ Atomic Purple shell + transparent green buttons looks just so amazing on an GBA.
I'll stick to my oldy switch and keep on modding the exterior till i like it.
I'm buying the complete edition, loved the vita game, except that some cool digivolutions are kept looked till the very late stages of the game.
I hope Digimon World Next Order will find it's way to the switch. For some reason i can't get myself to play it on the PS4. It's just one of those games you want to have on the go.
The cave looks cool af, and that director dude has to be some slimy bad dude. Also, the screenshot of the arena just looks horrible. The textures are N64 level.
They always have done some nice thing like trainer clothing, pokemon ami and not needing those stupid VM anymore. BUT, they tend to revert, remove the good stuff for other things and call it exclusive stuff of a specific pokemon game. Am i gona run back to XY to walk around in different outfits because ORAS didn't have it?
Let's not forget about the greatest mechanic for pokemon ever, mega evolution! Replaced by awkward posing for a flashy attack. Now that to got replaced, by big ass red glowing pogemanz!
They really know how to avoid making money. Everyone and their dog knows that the women in "the witcher" have a massive fanbase and are close to sacred, yet they proceed with a arabic yennifer and a blond nordic ciri?
If that truly was the switch mini, i'd be disappointed in nintendo. Why? The left joystick is not usable in a small handheld form. And in that size, the triggers would be secondary shoulder buttons, for ergonomics sake. You'll be using your middle fingers to support the back of the handheld, no way you're gona use them to press the triggers.
Let's hope the real design copies the PSvita 2000, with two additional shoulder buttons.
Such an easy fix to it... limit the save downloads to one per week or so and duping by save switching won't be a noticeable issue. and wtf is it nintendos problem if someone want to cheat? It's not a competitive game.
Not a fan of auto saving in general. I don't mind it if it's a automatic save i can chose next to manual saving. Also i want to keep the option to set the clock to advance in time, can't be asked to play the first few days sporadically.
That's one bad decision. Even the worst pokemon has a cult following. Every pokemon has it's lovers, haters, merch and is a part of pokemon history. Cutting some away just means you never intended those to be more than fillers because you're bad at making them in the first place.
I swear, if they include that's stupid sandcastle or trashbag but not others... I just smell that this is one big stupid way to limit the transfer of cheated pokemon from old versions.
