Yeah, if people think something is a rip-off of something else they have more than a right to say that they think as such.
It really does look like it's copying HK, and I can say that confidently even though I haven't actually played Hollow Knight, lol. They could've at least admitted they were inspired by it.
Also, an imitation isn't necessarily as good as the real thing. I find it weird that some people are acting like someone copying something good automatically means we get more good things, it doesn't really work like that. But time will tell, and hopefully the game becomes more distinct and proves to be more than just a hollow Hollow Knight.

Lady Bow from the first Paper Mario game is a respectable Boo too.

If anyone's played Bravely Second, the holder and abilities of the Guardian Asterix was pretty spooky too. The artwork of him and Geist is exceptional!

Yeah, it's not surprising that they aren't developing games for it any more, but I hope they'll continue to do sales and the like, seeing as it's still has the eShop.

I still haven't started Fates and I've only just completed Persona Q's NG+ so I have Persona Q2 to look forward to as well!

Just in case you're serious, I wasn't trying to say that Goku can't be a fighter because someone else called Goku is already a spirit.
I won't explain the joke, but it's not too different from other people saying that having Toriyama designed characters in Smash is close enough to having Goku in Smash.

I seriously hope that at least half of you going about Goku still having a chance are just baiting.

I saw something about text being altered in an update and got my hopes up. Unfortunately it's not about the text size being increased, a shame.
Apparently the text is now closer to the original JP but missing the 'all day' part? Usually I hate any form of censorship, but not having played the game yet this seems less severe than usual.

Meme lines? What were they? First I've heard of lines being changed in XC2. They still sound like idiots when you beat them senseless anyways, lol.

Thought we'd never get this game. It was announced years ago and the animation trailer even had a decent English dub yet we got nothing.
The in-game graphics do remind me of Fantasy Life. A new and improved FL game would be nice, especially since I never completed the 3DS one due to having to restart multiple times thanks to SD card issues. By that time it was fixed it felt super repetitive.
Anyways, I hope this game lives up to its expectations!

Hmm, not really into SNK.
I hope they surprise me and whatever character gets in looks fun to play.

Hmm, I never really run out of Spirit Board items.
Sometimes I see a spirit and think I'd rather wait until I see them in World of Light.
Still, free stuff is free stuff. I'll download if I ever start to run low.
What I'd really like to see is being able to carry for Shield Spacers/Sluggish Shield items.

A Spice and Wolf game sounds wonderful!
...Although I wasn't expecting VR. And it seems to focus more on simply spending time with Holo rather than all the merchantry and economics stuff that was going on in the anime. Holo looks younger than she did in the anime too.

I like the concept of the game, but the character designs are off-putting to say the least. Reminds me a little bit of The Cave. Wish the Switch had a game like that.

You guys compared this to My Hero One's Justice as one the 'enjoyable spectacle fighters' previously released on the Switch, but in the end you gave the two the same score.

I just hope that Nintendo of America follows suit, because they're the ones localising and often censoring games from Japan. I think it's been fine lately though. It'd be even better if Nintendo of Europe would start localising games themselves again.

This is what happens when you're watching anime subbed or manga and there's a pun that can't be translated.
But you can still find it amusing sometimes.
Personally, the version we got had me in stitches!
Seeing Bowser trying to talk VERY fast was a treat!
And then he was so confused and awkward afterwards. It was priceless~
You can't blame them for using that joke at least once in a Direct, especially Bowser's first one at E3 at that!

Like, am I the only one who thinks the in-game art is actually pretty good? The 3D models and overworld too. It's so simple, yet so colourful and charming!

I haven't played a mainline Persona game before, but I feel in love with Persona Q after watching the anime!
The lack of 3D is a real shame though, I always have it on.
And I actually got used to Q's Eng Dub, I could manage without it for the most part, but now I won't understand what they're saying when there aren't any subs, like during battle.
Still, I'm sure I'll enjoy this game a lot, but I hope it moves to the Switch later!

We're actually, finally getting Persona Q2!
The first game was my first Persona game. It was like playing a perfect Etrian Odyssey game! After watching the Persona 3 films and Persona 4 anime to get a feel for the characters and plot, both which I enjoyed a lot, I just loved playing PQ!
Now I need to watch the P5 anime before getting PQ2.
Hopefully I'll be able to afford the Premium edition by then.
I actually still had to do the other side of PQ.
But where does it say whether or not the game will be dubbed?
PQ only had the eng dub, which was disappointing at first, but I actually got used to it. So personally, I'm good either way.

I was SO worried that they wouldn't even bother releasing it outside of Japan since 3DS is dying and the Switch is rising. They really should've put it on the Switch but I guess they started development before they even knew about.
Anyways, this is a relief. Persona Q is the only Persona game I've played so I'm looking forward to PQ2 immensely!

Am I the only one that thinks this is getting a bit too much praise?
Yeah, the backgrounds and guardians and their lasers look nice, but the actual animation is pretty laggy/rigid. Whenever Link moves it feels like someone took out some frames inbetween.
Plus Links eyes look... odd. It's hard to describe, but it just feels like the artist couldn't get Link's face right.
Don't get me wrong, this is pretty good considering that so few people were working on it. But I've seen comments acting like this is an example of how a good BotW anime should be or that Nintendo should hire these artists. Really? You think we can't do better than this?
Shame that Revali didn't show up for his move but Mipha was a nice touch. She said 'I will protect you'.

Sometimes I feel like the only person who enjoyed Bravely Default's second half.

Yeah, I can see how doing those same four bosses over and over is repetitive, but each time you went back you got to fight the Eternian Forces in different situations, see how different Asterix holders fought and interacted together. The first time you go back, it's heavily implied that in that world, you didn't reach Edea before she fought Ominas Crowe and he ended up 'accidentally' killing her. In yet another world you end up fighting three Swordsmen Asterix holders at once! Honestly, seeing all of these different possibilities and scenarios was like fan service for me! Similar to seeing more of the Eternian Forces personalities in Bravely Second. I hope Bravely Third has similar element where we can see more scenarios with the Asterix Holders that delve deeper into their characters!
I haven't gotten round to Octopath yet, but as someone who owns both the BD Art Book and BS Deluxe Edition, I hope Bravely Third comes to Switch along with another Limited Edition too!

Why do so many of you think this is Nintendo trying to reject the Bowsette concept specifically?
Didn't we already know that only Toadette uses the Super Crown? It's just a gimmick to fit a Peach in the game even though the real Peach is meant to be captive. You guys are reading into this way too much.
And acting like Nintendo didn't already have a concept for Bowser possessing Peach, wouldn't be the first time Peach got possessed either. Remember Paper Mario: TTYD?
It's fine to me whether it happens or not, but there's a still a chance that Nintendo will have Bowser or some other creature possessing Peach again.

Hmm, I could've sworn that Japan already made this ad years ago for the original Bowser's Inside Story.
Either way, it's still gold.

Glad I'm not the only who sees that one of the reasons Twintelle is awesome is because she looks so confident. Most of the characters have a battle stance artwork, or pose but Twintelle is either her arms folded, hands-on-hips or holding a teacup because she knows that she can win without lifting a finger, literally!
Just like with this poll, her look says 'Yeah, we all know who's going to win'.

This is nice, but I was hoping that we'd get new One Piece and Naruto games, not more deluxe versions. Not sure if I'll get this but hopefully it includes all the quest DLC too, good thing I never actually brought any of the DLC yet, just the costumes that come with pre-ordering.
Toei better be giving the Switch more love than just this.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice looks like a pretty sweet deal! Will probably buy if I have enough money left, the demo left me drooling. It'll look good right next to Dual Destinies!

You said that Ravio and Yuga will be the final additions for the Wii U version, but isn't that version getting the extra costumes too? The models used are the Wii U version's after all.
