Hmm, I never really run out of Spirit Board items.
Sometimes I see a spirit and think I'd rather wait until I see them in World of Light.
Still, free stuff is free stuff. I'll download if I ever start to run low.
What I'd really like to see is being able to carry for Shield Spacers/Sluggish Shield items.

I can't seem to find the first set anymore. Can I assume they will only be available temporarily?

I mean, some new WoL stages would be better... I don’t even know what these items do.

For those of us who have had the game since day one, and have gotten most if not all Spirits, these packs mean little. New Spirits fights would be preferred.

@DDFawfulGuy heads up, only a fraction of the spirits on the spirit board can be found in Word of Light.

Unlike Alex, I don't ignore other games to play Smash endlessly. And with the awesome stream of games we've had on Switch this year, I haven't touched Smash in months!

@DDFawfulGuy as far as I know of? No. I didn’t bother with the Spirit Board until I 100%ed WoL (which took me about a week or two), but if there’s a spirit you want there go for it, it doesn’t hurt to have duplicates anyways.

As a non-online subscriber I’m glad they’re not putting anything pertinent behind the subscription wall. If they start releasing limited spirits or something I’m gonna start to sweat 😓

This isn't fair though to anyone who's not a Switch Online subscriber. Still not interested in purchasing it because 1. You can purchase some of the NES games on the 3DS eShop. 2. Still no sign of a GameCube/older generation. But then again, we still might see a GameCube online service, who knows? I'm hopeful that Nintendo extends this beyond NES games

At the September direct when they start taking year 2 of my Nintendo Switch Online payment they better announce some actual online features such as messaging and voice chat. They need to talk about how they are improving the servers and supporting more games on the phone app.

All the freebies and coupons in the world won't sell it for year 2 without some real online solutions.

Have Online and downloaded it. Freebies I'll take but requires Online Subscription to get it.

Nice, I've still been collecting and leveling up spirits for a youtube video I'm working on. I'm trying to see how many sp points I can get off of all my spirits after a year of collecting on the Smash anniversary come back around, currently around 6 million so far lol

Are these temporary? I want to be able to get a Subscription, but I have no money, so I'm wondering if these are temporary. It'll be quite some time before I get some dough to be able to buy a 12-month subscription
