@FJOJR The moment they showed us the launch games I knew it would be a struggle to sell the concept of the gamepad. Nintendo Land is fun but not a game changer. And launching with another New Super Mario Bros two months after the last one with no real benefit of the gamepad? Yeah...
Should've launched with more games like Star Fox Zero.

Other M would've been a fantastic game if they scrapped te weird look they gave Samus, the AWFUL voice acting and the horrible story. If you look past that BS you can see its somewhat of a cool evolution of the old Metroid games.

@A01 I'm fairly sure they will still sell a portable NX handheld or handheld with the option to stream console NX games like the controller but still have enough power to play games the normal way.

btw they ruined their chances of it becoming the next Pokemon by waiting so long to release it in Europe... It would've had more hype if the US and EU got it on the same day.

@leo13 You should give Dig a chance, its unlike other "digging/mining" games.
Its the only eShop game in my top 10 games of all time and its only like 5 hours so you don't need to invest a lot of time.

@Mario_maniac That was only for the pre-order or hardware bundle. Its not available as a bonus anymore, at least not on the EU eShop for me.
I would buy the game right now if it was still a bonus, I really want that SNES game.

It is highly suspicious what Nintendo did.

@Moon That is pretty much why I have 5 of them, I want to be sure I'll be able to play in 3D, like intended, in x to xx years.
For me playing games like 3D Land, A Link Between Worlds, the Zelda remakes and Luigi's Mansion 2 with 3D turned on is either pivotal and/or adds to the experience. I know it's silly to say... but it still feels special to me.

@Moon I will be so sad if the next handheld doesn't have stereoscopic 3D But I'm sure that will be the case... Not many people know it's awesome when it works well (like on new 3DS) and therefor see it as a negative.

BTW was the E-reader Japan exclusive? I thought mine was American? I had English/US e-cards.

My e-reader stopped working like 2-3 weeks after importing XD I still have the cards but I lost the device itself while moving to a different place.
It wasn't as robust and hassle free as amiibo (cards) are now But it felt really futuristic n_n I loved scanning in my Pokemon-e cards ....but scanning 5 different cards to just play NES Donkey Kong was a bit too much haha

I just got my Hyrule New 3DS XL and I finally get why my boyfriend needed a new one after playing MH4 too much....its buttons are crap compared to the firm ones my smaller New 3DS has. :/

Oh well, I can finally play MH and Majora's Mask on a bigger screen, as I'm supposed to.

Anyway: I'm glad its fake but morphing touch screens, haptic feedback and scrollable shoulder buttons sound pretty cool.

Glad the map has color! I was a little worried when the map was all white on the leaked footage.

Combat was the best thing about Skyward Sword...I'm still hoping they will some day make a new motion control Zelda game

I'm still upset the TP HD remaster didn't include an option to waggle (yes I love the waggle, since the updated controls have a delay anyway, why not give us waggle as an option)

People who say combat sucked in Skyward Sword didn't have the right set-up, never played the game or used the Motion Plus or were too lazy to read the manual or set the sensor bar the right way.
I had ZERO problems using motion controls in SS, it worked perfectly.
I just didn't like some parts of the rest of the game But combat was AMAZING.

I will buy more games digitally like I used to a few years ago if I can play them on all my hardware.
That is why I've bought more digital Wii U games than on 3DS, since I only use one Wii U but I have 4 3DS units I use for different stuff.

Sometimes I'm even annoyed by the fact some games get awesome special editions...like with Pokkén: I wanted the game digitally but I couldn't say no to a Mewtwo amiibo card >_< So now I have to switch discs...something I don't like at all.

My gaming habits vary by how accessible a console is. For example, I use my PS4 the most since I can put it in sleep mode and I have loads of games installed so I can *switch really easily.
That and I can actually switch between games, I dont need to load back into a home menu.
Same goes for the 3DS...but Wii U..um yeah :/ its slow and annoying.
*when I game, I switch between games frequently.

This means they are pretty much working on a NX version >_> Why else would you still rebalance the game.

I hate to admit this...but I kind of miss motion control sword fighting there is this delay when you press the buttons that I dont really like right now...it feels so bad compared to how fluent Wind Waker's combat is.

The problem is, when I still worked at NOE's localization center, everything was in-house. But since the big lay-off round a few years ago they started hiring other companies for most of that stuff.

That's what you get for firing all those hard-working people, Nintendo. -_- (yes im still bitter friends lost their jobs)

@SanderEvers Thats what I think. Its either a paid exclusive, or an exclusive like Street Fighter 5 (which will get an Xbox and NX version in a year or so, they'll just call it ultimate or super or something)
