The game shouldn't be called Metroid Prime! I will probably buy it but I don't like that its being wh*red out like its a new Metroid or something.
Oh well, at least we get Xeodrifter this week and we have games like Axiom Verge on PS4.
I don't hate this game, I just don't like that this is the Metroid Nintendo has been working on. It would've been OK if we got another Metroid for 3DS or Wii U. One made by Retro.

Dark Moon is my favorite 3DS game and I love Next Level Games but this is just awful. I feel so bad for them and I know its not their fault, its Nintendo's.

Since we aren't getting a new Metroid I'm buying Xeodrifter on 3DS and Axiom Verge on PS4 this week. I bought PSN and eShop credit hoping we would get a surprise eShop/PSN game...well, we got Mother so thats at least one positive

Why not LEGO dimensions? Why not Disney Infinity? Wht the most generic and boring toys-to-life franchise outside of amiibo?

Skylanders was fun when it was the only toys-to-life game...Now we have so much more with better characters.

@whodatninja Don;t believe the controls hate. People just don't know how to use the motion plus. I never had any problems with the controls in that game. HOWEVER, you will want to kill Fi 20hrs in. Every time you start the game she will remind you what a rupee is and what each and every item does.
Swordplay is friggin fantastic in that game.

I am done with amiibo, even though I love the ones I have I just don't care anymore. There are CLEARLY NO OTHER AMIIBO GAMES IN THE PIPELINE. gawdamnit. Way to go Nintendo, selling something that only lasts 2 years max.

They are using all resources for smartphones and NX now. Wii U is dead and 3DS is getting its last few games before it dies.

@Ryu_Niiyama Good luck finding one. The whole "amiibo work with lots of games' is not doing it any favors when they dont make enough. And they didn't even announce an amiibo-centric game. Amiibo just lost their appeal in my eyes (and I have 54 on my shelf....)

Treehouse can't even save this disaster.

Oh and the pacing was horrible. I normally love how Nintendo's shows are better than Sony and Microsoft (like last year) but this was just...ugh..

I have never felt so sad and horrible watching a Nintendo Direct/Digital Event. Seriously, I am always super happy and hyped but I felt GUTTED. my face was trying to run away from my dying body.

I WAS HORRIBLE. Mario Tennis?? Animal Crossing Party game? Another party game??? STOP IT.
Only Zelda Triforce Heroes, Yokai Watch and Xenoblade did it for me. Metroid was a kick in the b****.

I want Doctor Who, Scooby Doo, Portal, Wizard of Oz, Simpsons and Batman.

Also, I love what they are doing with that portal! switching characters and changing LED colors etc. ...I already buy too much LEGO but I cant resist to buy this as well. This has priority over Star Wars Infinity for me.

Wow...RIVE is sublime!! I feel bad saying this but I'm glad Toki Tori failed so they had to be inventive and create something amazing as this game.

@andyg1971 You do know you can watch all of it on the Wii U browser and YouTube app? Same with 3DS, PS4 etc etc.
I watched it on Wii U this and last year while I use my laptop for flipping out on chat.

@DEAD You will love Freedom Planet. It took me +/- 15min to beat the level, its just so much fun collecting items, finding secrets, platforming and dragon boosting/cyclone like crazy! I hope it comes out soon cause I need more. NOW.

@Mr_Zurkon Yeah I would love this to become an annual thing. I somewhat I agree it should be qualifiers only..but Cosmo and Arin being there got me twice as excited as I otherwise would've been. Its nice to have someone you like to root for.
Also, it would've been nice if it wasn't US only, but thats a teeny tiny minor complaint.

Don't let Axiom Souls framerate stop you from playing it! It has a lot of potential.

@Cyberbotv2 Haha I'm normally not for violent games but that Doom footage did get me excited, probably cause it looks gorgeous. But the most awesome part for me was Fallout...Its probably my favorite non-Nintendo franchise and to think I can build whatever I want...wow..just wow.
Mind you, I was already beyond hyped after watching the amazing Nintendo Championships and seeing how amazing Super Mario Maker looks.
I have a feeling Nintendo will absolutely kill it tomorrow.

I just finished the Soul Axiom demo and despite its low frame rate I really like it!

Bethesda killed it last night. Seriously...I am gobsmacked.

@manu0 Earthbound was 10 instead of the usual 8 but it was still worth it.

I don't care its not as good as Earthbound! I've wanted this game for so long and to think I can download it today...holy crap.
