WIth the start of another week we have the European Nintendo Download Update details, the usual look at the eShop treats that are on the way. This week we have a number of intriguing releases on the Wii U eShop along with a lovely Wii download, while on 3DS we have an eShop sequel and some retail sporting shenanigans. There are some tasty discounts to consider too, so let's get to the details.

Wii U eShop

Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus (Aksys Games, €13.34/ £12.09) - A 2D platforming epic with RPG elements, Chronicles of Teddy has NPC interaction, over 30 hours of gameplay and a lot of unlockables. The visuals look particularly attractive here, seemingly with plenty of gameplay variety thrown into the mix - we'll bring you a review soon.

Lovely Planet (tinyBuild Games, €9.99/ £7.99, or €8.49/ £6.74 until 7th May for those with the E3@Home demo on the same Nintendo Network ID) - A colourful and charming shooter, you run, jump and shoot your way through stages as artfully as possible; the publisher describes it as a 'gun ballet'. It looks lovely, as the name suggests, and we'll bring you a review soon.

Asdivine Hearts (KEMCO, €9.99/ £8.99) - A fantasy RPG in which you even have an accompanying cat, the core of the tale revolves around the advancement of shadow through the world. It does sound more light-hearted beyond that, with side-quests, a battle arena and more to add some depth. We'll try to save the world for the 2368th time and bring you a review.

SUPER ROBO MOUSE (RCMADIAX, €4.49/ £4.09) - Perhaps the most ambitious project that RCMADIAX has produced, you guide ROBO through a series of top-down mazes and challenges in order to get it to the exit. We'll see whether it's fun or a bit cheesy in our review; until then you can check out our most recent interview with the developer.

Epic Dumpster Bear (Log Games, €9.49/ £7.49) - A platformer that promises over 70 levels, "classic platforming action" and "bonus levels that take advantage of the Wii U GamePad". In practice it looks rather insane, with the bear in question showing remarkable agility while taking on foes such as giant wasps. All because an evil corporation destroyed his forest and food source - we'll see whether we can bear it in a review.

Wii U Virtual Console

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension (Nintendo, €19.99/ £17.99) - A title that arguably deserved greater commercial success when it originally launched, this is a stylish 2D platformer in which the Wii Remote's waggle is frequently put to use. Beyond that gimmick it has gorgeous hand-drawn visuals, and the brevity of its campaign should be less of an issue at its lower download price. We enjoyed it a lot in our original Wario Land: The Shake Dimension review.

We'll jump into the quest for a review.
