A better way to check download speeds would be to check your router's Traffic Management/Bandwidth Monitor.

Hamster have acknowledge the colour and sound problems of the Neo Geo games released last week and will hopefully patch them in the next week or so.

They have to keep the eshop prices the same as the rrp because high street retailers would stop stocking the products if they didn't.

The 'limited time' is thought to be three months.

Sounds good, but I get the impression that they are slightly naive when it comes to the injection moulding process and specifying which polymer to use. A highly polished mould costs significantly more than the kick-started target, fot example.

@DiscoGentleman I think it is very fair to say that Iwata's passing is directly responsible for this. It is not usual to say no to a superior in Japanese culture so it allows Nintendo to quietly stop development without anybody being disrespected.

So how exactly would a game that looks as complicated as Snakes & Ladders benefit from online multiplayer with no voice chat?

@faint Yes, everything was in folders which made it even more frustrating to find out about the limit.

@Angelic_Lapras_King @Ootfan98 @GLA Once you try to install your 301st title a message pops up about the menu being full, with a link to the Data Management setting. It is on the electronic manual apparently. I wish I'd read it before I started buying digital downloads instead of discs.

I've been struggling with storage on my Wii U- I reached the 300 title limit a good while ago, so although I would be nice to have the TG-16 games on Wii U, I would have to delete other VC games to make room for them.

This is the second time that Natsume have made this sort of statement.

SNES games are still being released so it seems like more of a case off Natsume passing the buck.

I've just received a Silver Mario from Amazon US. It cost about 14GBP including delivery.

The issue with formatting a 64GB to FAT32 is that it doesn't help with the restriction on the maximum number of 300 games/apps that you can have on your 3DS. I'm nearing 300 with a 90% full 32GB card.

I wouldn't be surprised if Smash Bros was the first NFP compatible game, and used as a quick method of unlocking characters.

Lost Winds is now downloadable from the Wii Shop on Wii U in the UK (and probably the rest of EU) and the transfer can now be completed.

@Jampie I think you might be right. I think it's just a matter of waiting until Nintendo EU/UK get their act together.

I assume that Nintendo UK haven't completed the steps they need to to make this process possible - they have uploaded the updated Lost Winds, but maybe they need to tupdate some other things server side to let the transfer tool know that Lost Winds can be transferred.

If people have transferred successfully can they post what region they are in, please?

Tried this again this morning and it does not work. Since I did a transfer yesterday it tells me I have no data to transfer, and exits the transfer tool. Lost Winds in not available in Wii shop in Wii Mode either.

I have a suspicion that some people are getting mixed up with Lost Winds Winter Of The Melodias which has always been available in Wii mode.

Hmmm, so the developers of games like Retro City Rampage and Steamworld Dig praise the new eShop, and the developer of a very basic match 3 puzzle game is very negative about Nintendo. There's a reason that some games sell nothing, and it isn't because of a lack of support from Nintendo.

If Nintendo keep the sort of tat that has overrun the AppStore off eShop then surely that can only be a good thing.

@Link-Hero I didn't have them so redownloaded them before the transfer, as well as updating Lost Winds itself. It is strange.

@Link-Hero I'm confused now. Did you transfer the files manually or did it do it with the transfer tool? When I tried it just transfered the shop Channel data and nothing else.

@Einherjar doing the transfer a second time doesn't cause any problems but as I've said above the Lost Winds transfer still doesn't work anyway.

I did try to repurchase in Wii mode, before i tried the transfer, but it is not available in the Wii shop channel on Wii U.

@SCAR392 Nintendo and Frontier have obviously been responsible for this update that is supposed to work now. I had no concerns at the fact it didn't transfer 2 years ago - its the fact it STILL doesn't work.

OK I've done the transfer, and guess what? I updated Lost Winds, and used the transfer tool and it transferred nothing.

It even said that Lost Winds was not transferrable when I ran the transfer tool.

Can Nintendo actually do anything right?

I was wondering about this the other week. I assumed that as so much time had passed that this would never be available on the Wii U.

I think many people are underestimating the amount of work that localisation involves. It isn't just a matter of translating the text but also making sure it makes sense culturally. The English on the NA and EU versions will most likely be very different, and the same would be the case with FR and ES translations.

Nice to see Nintendo are doing well in parts of Europe. if only the UK was the same.

It's a crime that a game like this has to go to Kick starter while Capcom churn out rubbish from Western developers.
