@kalosn yeah Mario kart does need more I feel like the game is really lackluster in the open world which is supposed to be the main focus, but also when you complete every race it just kinda feels bland. The game being 80 it jut doesn’t feel like it should be this much for how bland the game is in content. Or maybe it just could be me but I beat every race pretty easily and after the races, the open world is just kinda there.

I think this is what passion for a game is. It really looks like sakurai put love and care into this game and I think it really shows with amount of content and just his love for games. Unlike a lot of studios these days it’s rare to find someone who is just there and passionate about making games which we need more people like this and less people putting out AAA SLOP.

I only buy on sale and if it’s a game I’m looking for so maybe like three or four a year, plus if I have time to game lol😭

@Telcontyr I started with nes and ps2 which was a fun time. Also I’ve been waiting for prime four for a while since they announced it, I just hope it’s good.

@Telcontyr yeah I agree I am a Nintendo person and I think they do have consistency with there games which more of them are good than bad except once in a while. I do have a PC but I usually like to play older games on it that I find some nostalgia to or something I’m looking for in a sale. I play some PlayStation but usually just stick to Nintendo.

@Telcontyr Claire obscure, silk song, split-fiction, doom the dark ages, death stranding, kingdom come deliverance 2, MTGD you probably know. There are quite of good games this year idk what your talking about. I do agree though it does feel kinda bland this console generation. Maybe it’s me but I feel like it’s bland because every console has every game pretty much cross platform and cross-play like I think non exclusivity in games is what makes it feel dole. Which is why I think Nintendo is kinda winning with the switch two being the fastest selling because they have good games with being exclusive to Nintendo, while pc, ps, Xbox all have pretty much the same bland games cause exclusivity isn’t really there. Also Xbox don’t really have any games and PlayStation comes out with one every once in a while but the usually it comes to pc. Plus pc really has been getting really bad unoptimized games which kinda leaves a bad taste for anyone on pc.

@AussieMcBucket they said they are developing the game on the switch as it’s not going to be a port but it’s own version. My guess is they need more time cause they’re utilizing all the features the switch two has like mouse and gyro.

@Waxifari I’m curious how they’re garbage In your opinion. I started out on ps3 and have gotten them on the switch and they run better than the ps3 and Xb360 versions of the games.

I feel like to get it the resolution and the fps it is you had to sacrifice the speed of the screen. I think they woulda said the screen is fine without the information they provided but who knows.

I think they are going to patch this rewind feature cause it kinda breaks the game a bit

Overall, Mario kart world is a joy to play but with just a few things. I think the open world is fun but feels empty in a lot of areas where it could have added things to do. Most stuff is just in areas that are part of the tracks but when you go between them there isn’t a whole lot. I also think the driving is clunkier and not as sharp as in Mario kart 8 and I think vehicle customization is a bit of a downgrade. There is a lot of different characters with different versions which makes the menu for characters a bit overwhelming, where as MK8 has a better select system you choose a character and a list of there different styles which I like better. But the experience also kinda feels short especially if you’re getting it for the 80 dollar price tag. I do think dlc is gonna makes its way into this game it feels like they haven’t even scratched the surface in this game, but if they don’t this game is not really a worth 80. Idk just my thoughts!

@YinYangYoshi yeah I agree, call of duty as a 70 dollar game has micro transactions like a free to play game and it’s stupid. Their excuse is oh let’s put micro transactions out the butt just so you guys can have all the DLC maps and stuff for free which is I think dumb. It’s not just Activision and call of duty but other company’s are annoying as well. Nintendo usually does give us games worth it and a lot of times they don’t with making every remaster full price, and have bare bones sports games at full price. That still doesn't justify the 80 dollar prices. Tears of the Kingdom at 70 price Nintendo was like well if it sales which of course it’s a Zelda game and sold we’ll probably gave them the idea by one game being 70 oh well just make are next gen game 80 and TOTK isn’t even a next gen game which I think for 70 for that wasn’t worth it.

Idk they said videos games should be 80 I feel like they just want to make games that prices to get more out of people. but I don’t think they really need to after oblivion R, expedition 33, and split fiction, around 50 which two of them could run for GOTY really shows that the games shouldn’t be 80.

O hope more games don’t use this feature but I’m kinda glad some developers really know what the fans want for a physical like CDPR and having all of cyberpunk in cartridge.

@8bit-Man yeah makes sense Nintendo really likes to give us that Nintendo gimmick or something interesting that they came up with with each new console and with switch two not much is here that feels like that Nintendo gimmick.

Interesting take but idk maybe it me but I don’t really think they lost there identity. If your saying this about the switch 2 and not the switch 1 then how they are pretty much the same device with different internals and look. Im not sure how that changes the identity when upgrading or changing internals of a console is a new thing with every generation of console. Identity is really the games, cause you don’t really think PlayStation oh game console you think of oh PlayStation God of war, tomb raider, uncharted. With Xbox you think halo, forza, gears of war. With Nintendo you think Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, other. But idk

So far it looks good but I’m still trying to beat the first on the switch so m getting there and I got Xenoblade 2 when it first came out but idk it never clicked with me but I’m probably gonna play through that after I beat the first but I will have to give a try.

I haven’t actually beaten a Metroid prime game but after watching this trailer it made go back to the prime remastermake lol, I had a bit of playtime with MP 2 on GameCube but mostly multiplayer with siblings not really story. So Ive been looking forward to MP4 since they announced it, plus retro coming back no doubt this game is gonna be good the original still looks good all the way back on GameCube!!!

I don’t really look into my Nintendo very much plus the change with the points system could change some stuff but we will see if we’ll get it or not.

I’m really excited for it but I think it’s gonna be difficult but that is hard for an any series that is beloved by many. Im interested to see if it’s gonna be a new story or just a different take on one of the games. I think something new could really be interesting. If they just use a story from the games I would just be carious which one would they want to take from. Idk I just hope it turns out good.

@ElkinFencer10 yeah I mean wolfenstein looks surprisingly good but blurry and anything with fast paced gunplay really need a stable frame rate or the aiming starts to feel off. Also the outer worlds isn’t to bad but the loading screens really take away from the experience cause they are long. Maybe they could fix hog legacy to fully be traversal without loading screens with the new hardware but idk.

I think a lot of the impossible ports should get some sort of upgrade boost or like a visual upgrade like witcher3, outer worlds, both dooms, Hogwarts legacy, and many more. With the first party games I think TOTK really has problems struggling so a 60fps would be awesome and a just a 60fps patch for most of there games with better resolution would be nice.

Maybe on reveal they may have only announced the game, but what if they are adding some content to it but who knows.

So then what is the point of buying emotes then.

You know what woulda been funny if they revealed the next Nintendo console but it was fake.!!!

@pikku yeah I kinda agree I think of what I played was fine as well, I don’t think it deserves a 4 personally I would say maybe a 6. They also could have sold this at a 40 to 60 price range but they chose 35 so not really the worst scenario, it’s only bad because compared to the older ones it halve the price. I think the amount of GB this game is overwhelming though.

@Heartless666 ok but they did pretty well on the tomb raider collection, I just think the higher ups really rushed the people remastering the games.

I’m not considering the 3ds retro. To me I think retro it probably ps2, Xbox, GameCube and below to be retro. Anyways I’m still using my ps3 and 3ds like once a week. While still playing newer stuff like my switch.

I feel like they shoulda delayed this version of the game, but since it's out i hope that updates can really fix this game.

@Batfan2425 they could add it since it may take longer to actually get the servers working but IDk.

I still have the physical for them both but adding them on here means I don’t have to get them out of storage, plus I have never beaten them both so good time to.

@WallyWest the switch is getting Arkham knight which is a ps4 game so it would make since for the switch to be getting the ps4, Xbox, versions and not the, ps3 and 360 versions of asylum and city.

@dskatter plus the versions of asylum and city are probably the ps4, and Xbox one so I would think. Plus the switch would have the most recent patches for the ps4 games which could run better than ps4, Xbox, because those don’t always run consistently.

@Rika_Yoshitake actually they are probably doing the ps4 and Xbox one, return to Arkham versions, so no these are not the ps3 versions.

I think they should take all the time they need so it ends up a really good game. Metroid prime remastered was really good so hope this game can do the same.

@GrailUK when I first started, played BotW day one, I honestly think the graphics do look better. The only thing i have been running into is frames dropping while getting close to enemies, and going in and out of my abilities, but other than that it runs really smooth for the people whining about ohhh only 30fps.

This is kinda cool but I think maybe we could get some of the older call of duty like a black ops trilogy or a modern warfare trilogy would be awesome. IDK if they would be able to run the new games on switch but we will have to see maybe we could get cod mobile on switch or even warzone mobile.

@ModdedInkling yeah I agree I still love 1,2 and complete saga. I hope whatever is next for the Lego games is something that can be new and enjoyable like the older games but we will have to see.

@ModdedInkling I think they should maybe come up with some really cool idea to get the ball rolling I think there has been a lot of Lego games somewhat recently but not really any that sticks but maybe the Skywalker saga which is kinda mixed in reviews but IDK.

These all are good options. I think a really good one would be the LOZ a link to the past with the four swords, four swords would be awesome since you would be able to play online or even local with friends.

@idork99 that would be cool. I think they should do like a new vehicle pack and racers to give us more stuff to get instead of just maps.

I think Nintendo moving into the 70$ price point with out any new hardware really I don’t think the games should be more. Since xbox and PlayStation are on next gen I think the 70 to 80$ price point is understandable. If there is new hardware, then a bigger price would be something to look into.

I think a GameCube Switch online would be cool but I would want a physical of some of the game s
