The reason Fortnite Battle Royale became so popular cause it was something no one really has seen before. The gameplay was like a normal battle royale and a bit cartoony to appeal to kids, the thing the change was that you could build witch it was actually fun to build. Other things people liked about it was it had cool traps, weapons, and even a wacky variety of skins(well not really at the start). But all in all its a worthwhile game that should be played with friends, even if you don't like it, it is still fun to play with a friend that likes it.

@Lemonyoshi Fortnite isn't really graphically unimpressive just because it doesn't look realistic. Technically the Fortnite everyone hates and likes, or loves isn't even the actual game of Fortnite (Battle Royale). The actually game of Fortnite is the Save the World and Save the world is actually pretty good. The battle royale, on the other hand, is what they are talking about in the subject above. The battle royale is basically a crash grab because its the Free-To-Play aspect of the thing, and they add new things to the game almost every day which when they are gone they usually don't return so it makes people want to buy it. I do agree with you for the most part.

@Averagewriter I just read your thing and started typing so sorry if you got the same answer.

@Jacob1092 Some options like the 3ds would be awesome. Add an Internet browser, and a Chat or party's like on Xbox, and PlayStation than the switch would be pretty good.

@Averagewriter by the way retro didn't make any of those games what they did make is Metroid prime 1,2,3, and onto the fourth one, I'm pretty sure they know what they are doing they already made 3 games and they were all pretty good.

Even if you don't play lego games I still recommend is because they have humor and funny differences than the actual movie and they give pretty good gameplay so it's enjoyable however you look at it.

@PickledKong64 I agree with you. I don't get people who have to make the biggest deal over a video game that oh everybody should hate it and it should even exist, but a lot of people enjoy games that other people may or may not like. I do enjoy fortnite a bit, I don't like the game very much but I like to play it with my cousin and my brothers from time to time.

This game actually looks pretty good but the thing is it takes place in the same exact Open area that the first one did Hope they change enough to make the game feel new and improved.

@Kalmaro Ya I agree with the article. Even though there are some games that I do want on the Nintendo switch that is on ps4 and Xbox one, it probably will not happen because of the power aspect.

@Deathwalka Compared to other consoles the reason it is underpowered is the portable aspect of it. It would be a lot more powerful if it wasn't a portable console. But today standard if you think about it you can't compare the power to consoles that don't have the ability to become portable. It's actually a really powerful handheld but not a super-powerful home console. So it's powerful in its own way. Sometimes it doesn't matter if it's super powerful just if it releases good games. I mean ya it would be awesome for amazing graphics of 4k but the Nintendo switch does it right in its own way.

@Kalmaro I don't know what your standards of powerful are but The Nintendo Switch is actually pretty powerful. Not as powerful as the Xbox one and ps4 but it still gets the job done. All I know its more powerful than my computer (my computer sucks) because it can't even have more than 2 tabs open without crashing the computer(laptop). I'm not trying to say you're wrong in every way, but sometimes the power comes from the game developers to put the game onto the console.

@boxyguy 12switch wasn't that great of a game but it still had cool features. I agree with you it should have been like Wii sports with the console.

Charizard is over rated

To me the first design kinds looks better for a realistic move on sonic but the second one, its like watching space balls with 3d animation and not realistic.

I think when you are found cheating there should be a chance screen to give people chances to stop what there doing and play the normal way but if you lose the second or third strike then you get band because in fortnite some people get band and they spent so much money on skins and stuff and you only get a ban to crush all that cash you spent.

@QueenKittenWrite Ya I highly doubt it because i'm pretty sure there are still a lot of people who prefer physical. Plus it takes up more space on a digital game than actually having it. Plus with movies and music there still making Physical with them still because people want something to own not something to have unless you lose your account or something.

@Heavyarms55 true i'm still interested in some games I have't played on the 3ds yet plus I still enjoy playing Animal crossing New Leaf on a daily basis. Even though I have 2 Nintendo Switches, Well that might change when Animal Crossing New Horizon comes out.

its a bad decease at least ubisoft is trying to help not just in the gaming industry but in other peoples lives.

If your saying Pokemon go is dead well your wrong or maybe just in your areas because i see people play Pokemon go all the time.

@ShadJV actually when they announce the characters they weren't ready like in the terry announcement they said he is still in development so he was finished so they couldn't of all been done months ago.

And who said they weren't showing a new character every other time they released a new character they showed a new one. Plus how would anyone know what there showing if they havn't showed it yet and didn't want to spoil anything.

If you think about it nothing of fortnites cosmetics are worth anything because where the game is done and over with you just spent you money on nothing.

The starters look pretty cool in sword and shield the only thing is scorbunny looks like a stage 1 Pokemon and the other 2 look like a basic Pokemon. That really is the only thing bothering me about the starters.

i might not even get this game because The sun and moons games burnt me out of Pokemon. I just didn't like sun and moon (Ultra) that much. The reason being is the story was basically the same on the ultra and the original version and when i played both i was like why am i playing this. Another thing is all the legendary's in the game and how almost all of them are pretty easy to get if you have the Ultra versions, and I didn't like it that much. The reason I didn't like catching the legendary's really easy or semy easy because in the originals it took you a while to get the legendary and even find them, But the nastalgia of the games is when you find that legendary for that game and you catch you are like man that was fun. In sun in moon it is totally different you catch one and its like cool now I have so many more to go. Sorry if you like the game and i'm being to harsh on sword and shield just because the previous Gen game didn't do it for me.
Why I liked Sun and Moon well there are new and exciting ultra beast and new alolan versions of older Pokemon and you can get all the starters from each gen. I like the professor he seems cooler than the rest of the professors, and I do like some of the characters like the main trainer you play as, gladion, Guzma, Lillie, and even Red and Blue since you get to battle them. One more thing I like the battle tree I thought that was a new addition to a Pokemon game, and i like the starter Pokemon. So if you read all this sorry I didn't like this game as much as the other ones, and sorry for not liking it if its your favorite game but it still had some fun moments in the game that had me play the game twice. Sword and shield to me doesn't look like great of a game to me, I mean the game in graphics looks pretty good but something doesn't appeal to me. Sorry I might still play the game to see if it changes my mind about getting it but right now its a maybe.

@NCChris Online does need quite of bit of work and some of there other games. Kirby super klash this game lags like crazy

If they make another smash they should worry about more of a story mode. (Ultimate basically is for all the characters) I know there was a story mode on Ultimate but it wasn't very good and you kinda had to grind a bit to get everything in it, But in smash six they should actually make a SUBSPACE EMISSARY two and keep all the original characters and add some new ones that would be great. I'm pretty sure if there was another smash (Smash 6) there probably wouldn't be as many characters in Ultimate.

If this was an official Lego set this thing would be like 300$ or something like that. Jesse Legos are expensive

@CurryPowderKeg79 i wasn't born in the 80's but I grew up with the 80's equipment I played a lot of Super mario bros 1,2,3, Zelda, doctor mario, karate, double dragon, metal gear, and a lot more. I also grew up with a PlayStation even though I still played the Nintendo more. When I was a bit older I went to a garage sale that had a lot of expensive items for pretty cheap, I got a special edition gameboy color with pokemon red,yellow,gold,silver, 2 Zelda titles for about 15$ but another thing I got a game boy advanced and gameboy color and all the games together for 15$ and i played those like crazy. just a fun story i have about older game consoles i have.

@Slaz i know the game is part of learning and getting new locations to expand the map but a map still woulda been cool.

For other games like skyrim, GTA, Red dead redemption and other games. When you bought the game you got a a huge map. why didn't we get this for Zelda botw.

I literally played this game on my N64 yesterday

So far of what i seen Overwatch has really been looking good for switch it looks pretty good and it plays well to so probably picking it up i don't care for people saying why we don't need overwatch on switch well maybe we do.

The only thing that makes the switch version look a bit worse are shadows if you look at the regular one then you look and the switch one it needs shadows other than that it doesn't look bad.

I think they both don't even look like Arnold. when i first watched the trailer i thought good design but they could of made him look a bit more like Arnold.

why fortnite is bad. fortnite is bad because the game tries to make people spend money on things that you don't even need to spend money on. Fortnite tries to get people playing it 24/7 even though that is really a long time playing a game and you probably shoudn't play it that long without stopping. Another thing is they update the game so when you do stop playing its pushes you to get back on to play. (the game is somewhat fun for a little while but its not really a great game to spend money on when you can play it for free, The stuff you buy doesn't even give you anything towards helping you in the game its just for cosmetics.) Some things i like about the game 1. its a fun team game when you can crossplay with your friends on any console really. 2. Its fun building and blocking people from shooting you. 3. its fun to meet new people (Sometimes). Sorry if i'm going long but this is just my opinion

1 other thing is I would spend money on an actual game than a free-to-play one. If you don't have money for a new game just don't buy anything on fortnite because in the end its all cosmetics.

@Agramonte Crossplay Playing games cross-platform with friends is not about getting more online titles to play with your friends its about playing games online with your friends.

@Hunt3r_Cr0wl3y For one thing that is a big PlayStation exclusive title so no that would not happen. Plus cross play doesn't mean were getting games from other consoles it has nothing to do with what games were getting all it is for is online Play so people can play the same game online with a person with a different console.

@Chamillion205 I agree . Most games you have to practice by yourself and then move up I like what you were thinking.

what would be nice if we got an offline type mode where you can play 99 bots verses you so you can practice without anybody online. Plus to make it better have it like the offline mode but where you can play with 3 friends and against 94 bots to practice with.

I will stick with the Contra collection for just 20 dollars on switch.

I think borderlands 1 and 2 and the presequel could be a port over to switch but I think 3 could really be done they just got to get in gear (no pun Intended) and give us some of the other games in the series. Plus Nintendo isn't just a Kids console they have games for older people to.

@Razer They have actually got of there childish ways, They brought Xenoblade 2 rated T, and Astral Chain Rated T, and then bringing bayonetta 3 switch exclusive which is probably going to be Rated M so i do think they have gotten out of the child zone.
