Been really enjoying my time with the Variety Kit. It's not perfect, but it's damned good fun, and with the Toy-Con Garage being as expansive as it is, there's still an awful lot I'm sure I've yet to make, play and discover.

I'm so, so bloody excited about this. More lore, more game, more music. Who can argue?

To all those asking about charging via power banks:

As stated in the original post, using a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge your Switch will be slow, but in theory totally safe. USB-A isn't rated for or capable of pushing anything close to enough juice to cause any issues.

Chances are it'll just drain your battery more slowly rather than actually charging it if you're playing at the same time, but it's better than a Switch-shaped brick.

I'm no electrician but it sounds like this could possibly be altered/rectified with firmware. I bloody hope so as it seems a bit needless to fence off third parties when you're not even using a proprietary port.

@Kalmaro Playing as these new characters introduces new remixed versions of stages. They're not new new but it's something.

@JJtheTexan The timespan available for these videos means it's not feasible to play to the end of an entire game just for a minute's worth of footage, which is where final bosses like Tatanga and Wart naturally are. Also we did include footage of Nabbit.

I'm not trying to be condescending but if you truly don't want something that thrives on attention to exist, the best thing you can do is ignore it entirely. Without attention these things die, so vote with your clicks.

@MsJubilee If you don't consider an article newsworthy (on any media outlet, not just NL) the best message you can send is to not interact with it at all. A view and a comment is supremely positive feedback in the eyes of search engines and analytics, even if the comment is negative.

It's a good addition for sure, but for me and my Splatoon addiction the sensitivity just isn't high enough, even at 100%. Most people's mileage will vary, naturally.
