Still an absolute bargain for what you get. An entry point to thousands of hours of gameplay. Divide the cost by those hours and it doesn't look bad at all.

That's pretty much what I was expecting based on the Euro increase. I had been planning to get one before the price rise, but it's a pretty small increase so I've now decided to hold off for the Zelda edition (which should be the replaceable battery model) instead.

UK got off lightly and same globally for potential SW2 owners.

Series X in the UK in Argos £660. PS5 £560. Ouch.

Gaming is getting a tad expensive.

My takeaway is this: If you want a Switch 2, you should buy it in the next 10 days. I'm glad I already have mine.

That's not bad. Matches the other regions of increasing it to the initial bundle price, and we already know Nintendo is very reluctant to do this at all, as evidenced by the lead time from the announcement, and the minor price increase relative to what everyone else has been doing at shorter notice.

Also they already said this doesnt cover the actual price increases they're facing.
