I think it's too early to form such bold statements like "omg Wii U is dead now that it will not have Zelda this year" when E3 is almost upon us and tons of new stuff will be announced there. Maybe even a big game that can be release on the holidays. Just like Super Mario 3D World was revealed at E3 2013 and released on november without any problems.
Even an HD remake will do the trick! If there's one company that knows how to make remakes right, is Nintendo. Wind Waker HD was fantastic and it sold relatively well. I don't understand why they haven't done more HD remasters on Wii U...
I LOVEEEE that Nintendo's vision is to always deliver something unique and fun in an industry where everything is just specs, resolution lame gray looking games and boring Internet fights of why the AA of certain game sucks. That's why I continue supporting Nintendo. I just freaking hope they bring a super strong and no-confusing marketing campaign for NX once it launchs because we don't want another Wii U marketing-like with confusing message and boring happy family playing on the couch commercials.

Amiibo has proved to be a huge success... then why the heck Nintendo doesn't produce more figures to meet demand?? I've been going through so much pain trying to pre-order amiibo from wave 3, they got delayed here in Mexico and we don't even have the whole set of wave 2. Captain Falcon amiibo doesn't exist in here! I'm at nothing to give up on amiibo and stop supporting them because of how difficult are to find.
Why they don't just release the whole wave at once just like when Smash U released? It's kinda annoying you buy a couple one day, then you have to wait 2 weeks or so to buy another two and so on. On top of that, add the stock issues... blegh.
Everyone should get Super Metroid. It's one of the best videogames ever made and the one that all artists aiming to be a game developer should take inspiration of. I already have it so I think I would take Wario Land II and Super Punch-Out, yessss.

Good numbers overall but the Wii U hardware numbers are a bit concerning... It's the second week with Smash U on the shelves and yet, the Wii U numbers are around 20k while PS4 increased considerably almost to 70k...

Woah, I didn't know about Toads getting dizzy if you spin the left stick. Love little details like those. I've been on Tumblr for about 4 years now, and when it comes to blog about videogames, Nintendo characters/games comes before anything else... and I love it. Lot's of awesome fanart, info, even memes (that are actually funny hah). You should have seen how Tumblr was when the Luigi's Death Stare was the trend back in June. The amount of videos and memes was insanely fun!
Ugh... let's not panic just yet, let's wait till NPD numbers. It's just a shame that most people choose X1 with AC Unity wich is nothing but a hot mess/bug-fest disaster of videogame. But then, this is where the problem of Wii U and it's market appeal comes to ruin the day. 2 years after Wii U's launch and there's still some people confusing over what Wii U is, if it's an add-on for Wii or whatever. Most casual customers were probably like "Oh, here's this thing called... Wii U?? This is probably just a slightly enhanced version of Wii and we already have a Wii, plus this thing is $300 so nope" "Oh but look at this, an Xbox One! It says here it's a new generation of gaming and stuff, plus it's just $330! Yup definitely buying this" And I just want to cry because it's probably like that every damn Holiday season since Wii U's launch Good thing the Holiday season just started so here's hope the numbers of Wii U hardware continue to increase. Smash U will be just fine since literally every Wii U owner right will buy that game anyways.
I think that if this becomes true, then it pretty much confirms that will never see GameCube VC games on the eShop . We should be thankful that at least Nintendo took the time to build the actual adapter in first place. I mean, building an official adapter from a 14 year old controller for a single game is something I would never imagine Nintendo doing, but they did.
The problem is that not even Nintento thought it'll be this succesful so now they can't keep up with the demand of this product. Hope they can produce more and they realize that people REALLY likes to play with GC controllers so they can consider them for future uses with Wii U because it has a TON of potential and the GC controller is one of the best controllers ever made.

It's the little console that could. Rapidly is becoming one of my favorite consoles ever. Top quality 1st party games, excellent functionality, backwards compatible, easy to use, no annoying install process, etc., etc. It's just sad that most people are still confused of what Wii U actually is.
Most of them think it's a damn Wii add-on and that is not worth it to spend $300 on a simple add-on. It's sad because all of them are losing the opportunity to try what this wonderful console is capable of. 2 years later and I'm still mad that Nintendo name it "Wii U"... seriously who was the responsible to name it like that? But still I'm happy with my Wii U and it's quality games.

Huge improvement over last year and that's the important . Last year Wii U only had Super Mario 3D World as key title for the holidays and even if that game is a masterpiece, is not considered a system seller compared to other games such as Mario Kart or Smash... and just precisely this holidays Wii U will have those two games available!! Good times ahead for Nintendo. This is the first step.
Obviously us, as customers, we want a Wii U price-drop, but probably Nintendo can't just keep dropping the price like that when the console was already selling at a loss even when it was released originally with that $350 tag price. So dropping the price even more at this point could be suicidal... Nintendo should focus on offering attractive bundles instead for $300 and it should work well. A Super Smash Bros Wii U bundle with the 32 gb console, the game, the GCN controller and the adapter for example... that'll be just awesome.
Let's stay optimistic, Smash Bros is a huge system seller so Wii U is definitely going to have a big userbase increse this upcoming months. Probably more than the last two holidays combined... it could be more it could be less but it will definitely sell wonders. After the latest Smash Direct, I think it's possible.
Everyone on most message boards out there are discussing why Destiny sold more on X1 than on PS4, while I'm just happy to see Smash 3DS position that high on the chart considering it was only tracked 2 days of sales and the huge amount of competition it has and even more since each of those games are multiplatform. I'm kinda proud of Smash 3DS y'know? :') haha. Hyrule Warriors doing better than expected! Zelda hype is still strong.
Woah... now I'm hyped for real! So the Wii U version still has some unknown features and modes? I thought It'll be pretty much identical on everything as the 3DS version but only in HD. So excitingggggg and I'm looking forward to that special announcement (fingers crossed it's a new Smash Direct!)
This honestly looks better than Super Mario 3D World! The lighting and textures are looking more crisp making the colors look more vibrant and attractive as hellllllll! My most anticipated game this holiday, even more than Smash and Bayonetta 2 #NoShame
It's a bit pricey but truly worth considering the insane amount of features it has, almost like a real synth. I've seen some videos from people creating music with this software and it's truly amazing. Those were of the DS version so probably this has even more features to make even more and precise tunes. Good review
Too good to be true... Then they should sell the GC controller cheaper. Not worth it if it's gonna work just for a single game. But maybe if you're gonna spend thousands of hours in Smash U, then it'll be worth it tough. Oh well, at least they include it. It's 2014 and knowing Nintendo is manufacturing Gamecube controllers again is something really, really cool. Let's be grateful for that.
Bayonetta 2 (((( At least is still on the top charts but still is bombing hard in Japan. We have to do our part to make this game succesful or at least to make it appear on the next NPD top ten chart!

Huge improvement over last year and that's the important . Last year Wii U only had Super Mario 3D World as key title for the holidays and even if that game is a masterpiece, is not considered a system seller compared to other games such as Mario Kart or Smash... and just precisely this holidays Wii U will have those two games available!! Good times ahead for Nintendo. This is the first step.

Obviously us, as customers, we want a Wii U price-drop, but probably Nintendo can't just keep dropping the price like that when the console was already selling at a loss even when it was released originally with that $350 tag price. So dropping the price even more at this point could be suicidal... Nintendo should focus on offering attractive bundles instead for $300 and it should work well. A Super Smash Bros Wii U bundle with the 32 gb console, the game, the GCN controller and the adapter for example... that'll be just awesome.
Let's stay optimistic, Smash Bros is a huge system seller so Wii U is definitely going to have a big userbase increse this upcoming months. Probably more than the last two holidays combined... it could be more it could be less but it will definitely sell wonders. After the latest Smash Direct, I think it's possible.

Everyone on most message boards out there are discussing why Destiny sold more on X1 than on PS4, while I'm just happy to see Smash 3DS position that high on the chart considering it was only tracked 2 days of sales and the huge amount of competition it has and even more since each of those games are multiplatform. I'm kinda proud of Smash 3DS y'know? :') haha. Hyrule Warriors doing better than expected! Zelda hype is still strong.

Woah... now I'm hyped for real! So the Wii U version still has some unknown features and modes? I thought It'll be pretty much identical on everything as the 3DS version but only in HD. So excitingggggg and I'm looking forward to that special announcement (fingers crossed it's a new Smash Direct!)

This honestly looks better than Super Mario 3D World! The lighting and textures are looking more crisp making the colors look more vibrant and attractive as hellllllll! My most anticipated game this holiday, even more than Smash and Bayonetta 2 #NoShame

It's a bit pricey but truly worth considering the insane amount of features it has, almost like a real synth. I've seen some videos from people creating music with this software and it's truly amazing. Those were of the DS version so probably this has even more features to make even more and precise tunes. Good review

Too good to be true... Then they should sell the GC controller cheaper. Not worth it if it's gonna work just for a single game. But maybe if you're gonna spend thousands of hours in Smash U, then it'll be worth it tough. Oh well, at least they include it. It's 2014 and knowing Nintendo is manufacturing Gamecube controllers again is something really, really cool. Let's be grateful for that.

Bayonetta 2 (((( At least is still on the top charts but still is bombing hard in Japan. We have to do our part to make this game succesful or at least to make it appear on the next NPD top ten chart!
