Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Wii U)

Great review! This just makes me EVEN more excited to play it again! The last time I play it was in 2004! I was wondering how the items would work this time on the Gamepad and I'm glad it works wonders! I'm not planning on play it off-tv since I want to admire every single detail of the graphics while I sail across the sea, I always had goosebumps when I was sailing in the GC version, I can't imagine how beautiful it would be to navigate in this version. Unfortunately, I'm still have to wait 2 more weeks since I pre-ordered the Ganon figure edition. It would be so hard to resist the temptation of getting it this friday digitally!

Re: Talking Point: Marketing Wii U to the Masses

Wii U still has no big AAA games, fortunately, they're coming, started well with Pikmin 3 and now with The Wonderful 101 and in just a few more days, Wind Waker HD and the necessary price-drop, and it would continue that way through the end of 2013 thanks to games like Donkey Kong TF and the all-mighty Super Mario 3D World, that game would save Wii U, just like it did with the 3DS and Super Mario 3D Land. Let's not forget big 3rd Party games are coming as well, like Watch_Dogs and even CoD.

Everything is starting to come together nicely for Wii U this fall... the problem now is how Nintendo is going to advertise all of that cool stuff? That's the big problem, all of this cool stuff is going to be mostly unnoticed because Nintendo will keep just using those lame ads of people playing NSMBU while they show the Wii Remotes the 90% of the commercial! The Gamepad appears just for 2 seconds and the console itself doesn't appear at all! How do you want people to buy Wii U if you don't show the system properly? It's nice that you can use the controllers for Wii but that shouldn't be the main attraction now, especially while you announce a new product!

I hope Nintendo is busy right now in doing a better marketing because I don't want Wii U to fail, it's such a great console with tremendous potential.

Nintendo... Just make a new huge marketing campaign for Wii U announcing all the big upcoming games, don't show people playing with Wii Remotes at all on those ads, repeat that this is a brand new console... and you will have saved this console and would sell properly. Wii U is just a great console but I hate how awful the marketing is doing to promove it.

Re: Video: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Has a Gorgeous New Story Trailer

One year ago, before the release of Wii U, I was looking for a Gamecube controller and a Wind Waker copy in order to play it once again on Wii since the last time I played in 2004. But the work and studies in front make it almost impossible to re-play it (being an adult sucks) Then when I finally got the chance to start playing it, literally one week later this HD remake was announced... And I almost started crying of happiness! So I stopped playing the original and even if the game was going to be out until fall I was confident that the wait would be worth it, and now, after watching this trailer I'm totally convinced that it was worth it! Replaying my favorite game of all time in HD and with all the new additions, it's just so nice, man :') Just a few weeks more and it would be here, guys!

Re: The Wonderful 101 Misses the Top 20 in UK All-Format Charts

Honestly I see this coming. It's very hard to compete with those games that are well known like Splinter Cell or Saints Row. But that doesn't mean those games are better than W101, I honestly believe W101 is better than those games who make it in top 5, but unfortunately people just go to buy the stuff they already known, and since W101 is a new IP, there's still a lot of people who doesn't know a thing about this game. Here still have to wait 3 more weeks to play it but I'm enjoying the demo and I would buy the game on day one!

Re: Talking Point: Gamescom Announcements Raise the Stakes for the Wii U and 3DS

Technically, Wii U is gonna get the best exclusives-games this holiday season. PS4 and XOne are just exciting because is new hardware, but honestly both would not have attractive games at launch, at least not for me. Most of them are multiplatform and some of them are going to be on Wii U as well, like CoD, Watch_Dogs, Assasin's Creed, etc. So if Nintendo announces a bunch of bundles for Wii U, with their big games like Zelda Wind Waker and Super Mario 3D World the sales would raise tremendously and it can even be the most sell console this holiday.
