@Spoony_Tech - Thats what my family kept saying about guys w/ swords, its called super "smash" not super "sword" brothers. My kids would be fine w/ all the Pokemon they can get, as long as they smash things.

@CAM290 If you've got both versions and want Mewtwo for free, yes. Otherwise, Mewtwo will be available as paid DLC.

They should add Sceptile.... then we'd have a starter type from each recent generation of a differing starting element.

Cool. I hope Mewtwo's addition comes with a few updates as well. I hate that there's no instant retry button for some modes (like events), while it's there for others (like the stadium games).

@Spoony_Tech Whether you like it or not, Pokémon is Nintendo's second-highest-selling franchise, so it's going to be heavily represented in Smash. The large amount of Pokémon in the game makes perfect sense.

MewTwo is easily my favourite Smash character, Lucario just isn't the same. Can't decide between Little Mac and Lucina for my favourite new character though...

I hope this is just the beginning of DLC for Smash 3DS/Wii U. Personally I want back Wolf and I want to see some Castlevania characters/stages. Simon Belmont, Alucard, Soma Cruz, plenty of Belmonts and others to choose, and a stage reminiscent of Harmony of Despair's large multi-roomed stages for 8-player smash on Wii U, and maybe stages reminiscent of the NES Castlevania or Castlevania IV/Rondo of Blood with skeletons and other monsters as obstacles for 3DS.

A guy can dream I suppose.

@Poketendo I highly doubt that he'll be that cheap! Tbh I would expect a price tag of about £/$/€ 5 because they can get away with charging that much

You don't need both versions to get Mewtwo. It's been confirmed that he will be released as payed DLC later on. This has been answered in previous comments so you should probably read some of the other comments before commenting yourself next time. Also, Club Nintendo is also available in the UK.

I only own Smash Bros Wii-U. Not proud of this, but I whipped out my 3DS and snapped a photo of the registration code in an empty smash Bros case at my local used game shop. It worked. I missed the deadline for the CD soundtrack (still didn't stop me from ordering one on eBay) but will be getting the MewTwo content for Wii-U so it looks like I'll be giving away my unused 3DS code. I'll probably do a contest on NintendoAge since NintendoLife doesn't seem to have a working PM system.

That part order # was in the email. I remember reading the email having no idea what it was. The CD case is sitting unopened in the house somewhere, I'm really not all tht interested, but we're keeping it just because it goes w/ all our other Club Ntinedo stuff.

Good you had me check though, I still have 1360 coins to use, and I redeemed my Flipnote 3D. Now I have to decide which of our 3 3DS get it, or I wait until I get a new 3DS XL for my birthday in July, though the code expires 7/21 so that's cutting it close. And I may get Godzila on my P3 instead.

@Crimzonlogic the games sold in latin america are the same region as North America but I'm guessing latin america doesn't have club nintendo because Nintendo doesn't want the hassle of mailing stuff to those countries.

@Captain_Gonru - PS3 Godzilla is download only. Which doesn't make me happy as it will probably cost more than in store. But if I can download it to both my PS3s, the basement and my 2nd floor bedroom, then at least I can play it whenever I want w/o carrying the disc around.

If you ever do watch Chuck - I highly recommend it, 1 of my all time favorite shows, even if it does jump the shark on more than 1 occasion and the entire last season feels like a series of fan service webisodes - Brandon Routh plays the same character, self-righteous egotistical holier than though who's supposed to be a friend, steals the blonde girlfriend, and you just know he's going to be a villain. Very typecast.

Well, the only countries I've been to since the Wii U was released are England and America (which both stock eShop cards) and "(Insert country here) doesn't stock eShop cards" is hardly newsworthy, so no, it never occurred to me that you might not be able to add any money to your account. So sorry if you can't get Mewtwo. Anyway, I do have some idea's of how you could get him:

1. Buy the game just for the code then sell it.
2. Try to find a code on eBay.
3. Find one of the boxes in a store and the take a photo of it/memorize it (a friend of mine did this).

Also, codes are region locked (I know this because my UK account wouldn't let me enter an Australian Hyrule Warriors code)so make sure you get one that will work with your Club Nintendo account. Sorry if nothing I said helped at all.

At first I didn't really care for Mewtwo but he seems to be slowly growing on me. I would of rather seen another Pokemon like Sceptile but I guess beggars can't be choosers. I'm just hoping that Sakurai decides to make there be more DLC than just this. Using DLC, we could see Roy, Lucas, Wolf and maybe Ice Climbers and Snake return, as well as some cut stages such as Pirate Ship and Fountain of Dreams. There could also potentially be some newcomers. Personally, I'm hoping for Impa and Dixie Kong.

@Grumblevolcano It should be noted that March 31st is the final day to register and earn points for Club Nintendo. After that date you will still have until July 1st to redeem Club Nintendo points and claim any Gold or Platinum reward that you qualify for. On July 1st the site will either shut down or unused coins or stars will expire.

So I guess if I live in sweden I just have to pay for it when it hits the eshop? Even though I bought both versions? Wow, that sucks if that's the case...

I know. That's why I said maybe. I should of probably explained that but since I said "and maybe Ice Climbers and Snake" I just assumed that everyone would realize that I knew why they were cut and might not return as DLC. I put "maybe" because I thought that Sakurai could keep working on them to try to get them working on the 3DS or, like you said, they could be New 3DS and Wii U exclusives. Even though I understand Sakurai's reasoning entirely, I still think that no matter how you put it, having them be Wii U and/or New 3DS exclusives will always be better than not having them at all.
