Daaamn! Now I'm actually pretty excited for Wii U. Lot's of excellent games coming from now until December. Getting all of them (and the 3DS games as well!) Pushmo for Wii U I believe is coming this week isn'it? Yay!
I'm willing to pay the full $60 for this game if that's the price they set. Since the first Captain Toad level I played in SM3DW I totally fell in love and I wished this concept could be made into a full game, AND HERE IT IS! Now is one of my most anticipated games of 2014. And it's going to be even more awesome because this will also support Amiibo figures.
Looking forward to download it! It's such a great, great game. I was fortunate enough to play this originally on the SNES and I still remember that playthrough. Even if I got stuck on several parts of the game due to it's difficulty (and because I was like, 8 years old, haha)
I was thinking in buying a PS4 depending on Sony's E3 presentation this week and well... I'm glad to say it will take probably another whole year until I buy one because starting from the fact that their Press Conference was dead boring full of arrogance and innecesary statistics stuff, the games they shown, none of them attractes me enough to get one. Not even The Last of Us Remastered.
The entire presentation was literally like: "We're perfect, we have the most powerful console and we're full of exclusives, we're arrogant at it's best, TV TV, TV...." Oh, and a freaking Ratchet and Clank movie that nobody asked for in the first place. Just lame.
After this E3 I'm beyond happy to be a Wii U owner and it's the system that will offer the widest range of variety in terms of games through the year. Yeah, it sucks that 3rd Party support for Wii U is almost non-existent at this point but there's still plenty of AWESOME indie games coming and I'm going to support the hell out of each one as they get released.
It's such a great update, everything runs so faster, especially the Internet Browser. Waaaaay faster than before. That's excellent because I use it every day.
An people doubt about MK as a system seller? Pfffff. Absolutely awesome news! And this was just on it's first WEEKEND! I honestly tought it will make the million mark in it's first week but accomplish this in less than that is just amazing.
The most efficient industrial design/engineers prize goes to those who work at Nintendo. Huge props to them. So Wii U literally uses the same energy as a light bulb. Damn good to know

I don't care about that Polygon article, they always publish this unproffesional click-bait articles when something related to Nintendo happens. Something like that happened when Nintendo published their E3 2014 plans and like 1 hour later, Polygon published an article titled "Nintendo may be drowning; but it's invested in doing so silently" and of course it caused a lot of buzz and obviously, thousands and thousands of clicks on that article. So yeah... I'm never visiting Polygon website again.

Good read. Definitely this plans announced for Nintendo at E3 are looking way more exciting than last year's E3 Nintendo Direct. Their latest broadcasts have been damn good and a true improvement over 2013's broadcasts so this keeps me genuinely hyped. That Smash Bros tournament and demo on Best Buy is an excellent idea.

Why Yoshi's Island for GBA and not for SNES? I prefer the SNES version because it has smoother framerate and waaaay better sound effects/music because of the higher quality chip sound the SNES had. I just hope this doesn't become another Nintendo is doomed trend of the week because (unfortunately) we've seen many different gaming companies doing the same with their studios/subsidaries lately, specially with Sony even if they are enjoying good PS4 sales. This is good especially when Sakurai posts the Pic of the Day on the Smash Bros. Community. However... I think Miiverse is already very, very strict on pretty much everything now :S. With this 3 minute restriction per comment is gonna be difficult when you are trying to get help when you're stuck in a game and you would easily lost your patience because of this. Oh well...
Incredible (in a bad way) that Wii continues selling. I'm sure that from those 28,000 new Wii customers, like, 20,000 of them were confusing Wii with Wii U and they decided to go for Wii because it was "cheaper". Nintendo needs to kill Wii completely. It's just hurting them rather than help them. As much as I love my Wii U, I honestly expect lower numbers for the console considering it didn't have any notable game releases like PS4 with inFAMOUS or Xbone with Titanfail. 3DS has a pretty sweet summer line-up already thanks to Smash and Wii U thanks to Mario Kart 8... let's just FREAKING HOPE we don't have to wait another 4 months till the next big release after MK8 >
Wario Ware creators made this as well?? SOLD. I honestly think this game looks funnier than Animal Crossing New Leaf. I can imagine the amount of screenshots of those random/wacky moments on sites like tumblr and twitter. It's going to be so much fun!

2.- It's finally announced to be released outside of Japan BUT ONLY for Europe and Australia (Like WTF, Nintendo of America? REGGIE!? First you add a red box to Mario Kart 8 without the awesome Limited Edition Blue Shell figurine and now this!?)
3.- Even if it's released in America I would not have the chance to get it because I live in freaking Mexico!!!
At this point, Nintendo has more games running at 60 fps natively than PS4/Xbone games! Great technical achievement has been done with this. Even with 3D mode, oh my!
It's been a very slow year in terms of Nintendo Direct broadcasts. The thing is, even without ND's, Nintendo has managed to create a bit of momentum lately with previews offered to the press with games such as Mario Golf and more epic with Mario Kart 8. The lineup of GBA games on VC, and now with this surprising Smash Bros Direct. This clearly shows that Nintendo has been doing things differently lately compared to last year and I believe it's been working great because after those MK8 previews, the hype for this game now is insane and it's great to think it reached those hype levels without the need of a Nintendo Direct and that's a really good sign.
April is going to be an interesting month considering a year ago is when it was announced that Nintendo would not held a Press Conference at E3 in 2013. So I just REALLY hope they don't repeat that for this year's E3. That Nintendo Direct was excellent but doesn't bring the attention of the mass media as Press Conferences do. Plus, since this would be the E3 on wich the new Zelda game will be revealed what a better opportunity than showing it in a Press Conference so we can see the epic reactions of public.

At this pace, the only holiday game it would be released during holidays for Wii U is Smash Bros, and that if it doesn't get delayed till 2015 and we get NES Remix 3 instead.... We all know that Nintendo consoles are to play Nintendo games, not for 3rd Party stuff, but this is getting ridiculous! I enjoyed AC: IV so much! It was a great improvement over AC: III! Waiting 3 or 4 months between 1st party titles and no worthy releases (meaning 3rd party stuff) in between is just not acceptable to me anymore. Just the fact that we don't even have the latest Metal Gear Solid game is a serious concern that not even their closest Nintendo Japanese partners care on bringing their games on Wii U. Like if Snake in Smash never happened!!! Woah, this is bad . Let's see how it goes with MK8...
Hahahaha they release Lost Levels but no SMB3 even if it was promised to be released by the end of 2013! I'm so done with Wii U VC. 3DS however is just a great week, lot's of cool looking indie games.
Nice and efficient looking building, I like it. They have to go with this type of architecture maybe because it's located in an industrial area of Kyoto where fancy building constructions are not allowed, also because earthquakes... they need to be strong enough to support them. Just imagine going to work every day there. All the magic that has to occur on the inside. It must be a pain in the a** tough, considering how hard is to get to work for Nintendo, especially in Japan if you want to be a developer.
Well done! It really is one of the most satisfying multiplayer games I've experienced in years. It must have won GoTY, but you know, it's not gray and it has no guns so no way this game would won that category...

I was getting really excited while reading the interview, then I read this part: "We’ve made the courses themselves a little easier to complete compared to the previous title" And my excitement decreased almost 30% . It is going to feel so awkward to play this game after DKC: Tropical Freeze wich is one of the most challenging platformers in years... Oh well : /.
I'm still excited for this game, I'm confident that with Tezuka as a producer, this game would deliver and it would be as fun as the original.

No but seriously this is so cool, the game is looking awesome and the gameplay is shaping to be really fun as well. Hahahaha they release Lost Levels but no SMB3 even if it was promised to be released by the end of 2013! I'm so done with Wii U VC. 3DS however is just a great week, lot's of cool looking indie games.

Nice and efficient looking building, I like it. They have to go with this type of architecture maybe because it's located in an industrial area of Kyoto where fancy building constructions are not allowed, also because earthquakes... they need to be strong enough to support them. Just imagine going to work every day there. All the magic that has to occur on the inside. It must be a pain in the a** tough, considering how hard is to get to work for Nintendo, especially in Japan if you want to be a developer.

Wohoo! Not even the PS4 can't stop the 3DS dominance >: ). But OMG that drop for PS4 is insane though! I was expecting something around 100k to 200k this week. Looks like everyone who bought a PS4 the past week realize how bad Knack is, hahah. It's funny how all the Sony fanboys are like "well looks like there's not enough PS4's in stock, that's why it sold way less"... yeah right. Wii U selling as usual that's, -in a certain way- good, considering PS4 is now in the competition. Now... When we can expect that Harvest Moon game here on the West, Nintendo?

I was getting really excited while reading the interview, then I read this part: "We’ve made the courses themselves a little easier to complete compared to the previous title" And my excitement decreased almost 30% . It is going to feel so awkward to play this game after DKC: Tropical Freeze wich is one of the most challenging platformers in years... Oh well : /.
I'm still excited for this game, I'm confident that with Tezuka as a producer, this game would deliver and it would be as fun as the original.
