@SplatRay001 Celeste often goes on sale for five dollars. You can take the other five and get yourself a coffee, which will probably still last longer than the Switch 2 welcome tour.
@Not_Soos It’s hard to look at people who vote for a man who actively spews hate on a daily basis and have any sort of sympathy. I understand the idea behind not treating them as lesser and I don’t like to, but anything in between only seems to empower them further, anyway.
@VoidofLight it wasn’t gamefreak themselves admittedly but Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team both came out at the same time, the former for the GBA and the latter for the DS, and they’re basically the same game
I avoided ToTK overload by mostly focusing on the main story, only allowing for occasional divergence, and also establishing clear goals for myself from the beginning (beat the main story, get every shrine and every Lightroot.) When all that was done, I beat ganondorf, and I haven’t touched the game since.
I can already see it: “Super Mario 3D All Stars + Galaxy 2 Featuring Dante From the Devil May Cry Series” Launching 2025 for one month only at $70. With no sales, of course.
@FishyS if I remember correctly the y button (I think) on the Pokémon menu automatically sends that Pokémon to be the first one in your party (instead of the whole x button scroll press a shenanigans)
@I-U I can confirm the spirit flute was not used in combat; in fact, it’s only mandatory to play about 7 or 8 times through the whole game. It’s still horrible to use, though, especially with the final song.
@BulkSlash I would honestly say BotW is one of the most accessible games in the series (if not the most) since you can avoid most enemies and dungeons are simple without being OoT complicated (obligatory water temple example.) BotW was my first game in the series, and you can cheese a lot of the potion related stuff. Wind waker is my favorite, and that one is accessible too.
Hmmm, let’s see… this all depends on whether I like bringing a chunky box (paired with a chunky screen) that requires an awkward power system and still barely lets you see anyway.
Coincidentally, this was written as I’m playing Majora’s mask (the 3DS version) for the first time!
Honestly, aside from the opening scenes and the occasional flashbacks, the game doesn’t strike me as creepy, just sad. Every character you help out or meet (well, most) is simply lost. Lonely. Maybe needing a friend. But creepy? I’d argue that does this game’s music a disservice - but, then again, maybe I haven’t played enough of the game yet.
Cool but how do people discover these things? I mean, who just went “Yeah, I’m going to drop a campfire in a certain range of a specific area then mash A and maybe something will happen. Cool.”
@Screen (More spoilers) The game’s initial interface is its own made up OS: in other words, it lets you access the game as normal and later do the [REDACTED] when necessary
