Oracle REMAKES would be amazing. Only Zelda games i haven't played. I bought 1 on 3ds, but it's not in 3d, so i didn't bother. If it's just a port, pass. I've played all of the other older games too many times already to enjoy any ports. I will be all over any remakes on day 1, tho.

With so many great missing games (i hear), why are they wasting time on quantity over quality? They will never convince people like me to buy NSO by only adding games like this. I want Mario RPG, though i bought it on wii, but can't play it without hooking the system back up & buying a controller for that 1 game (i left batteries in my wiimote, like a dummy, but i think it requires a classic controller anyways), & I'd rather just buy 1 month of NSO to play it.

@ChromaticDracula yes, it's not bad, it just wasn't great. The whole time i was kinda upset, thinking, "THIS is what people are thinking is so great?" I just didn't like the animation in the game, i think that was my biggest pet peeve. But it wasn't something to dislike, for sure, but just don't get ur hopes up. I played it on Xbox one & planned to finally go back once i got a series S w 60fps gameplay, but i started it up & didn't have the motivation to play it, still. But i was probably still pissed at it, lol.

I love Zelda, & i liked star fox adventures, personally, but this doesn't look like something that interests me.

@ChromaticDracula i love metroidvanias, but was really let down by ender lillies, personally, after all the hype i read before i bought it. It ended abruptly, when i took a wrong turn, & i didn't have the desire to reload a save & keep playing to try & get my 100% ending that i was initially going for. Hope u have a better experience, but don't get ur hopes up too much.

Meh. Probably another $1.99 game.

@JackMo that was my thought, exactly. Loved that game. The hacking aspect was in that game also, bit probably is different in this game.

I'm not feeling the character design, but it's something i can look past if the gameplay ends up being great. It looks like it may be up my alley in that department. 🤞

There's already so many turn based tactics games. I want more turn based RPGs, that aren't top down or isometric. I hate that perspective, for some reason. I tolerate it for fire emblem, but that's about it.

These games look so bad to me. Oh well, hopefully someone will enjoy them.

Steamworld quest has been my favorite card based game. I want more like that. None of these others seem to interest me at all.

Been waiting for a sale on this game, but it's never been on sale in the eShop. No way I'm paying $25+ or whatever it was for a game I'm not sure I'll like, & that i can't return if i don't.

@Link-Hero if u don't understand the language, it's just noise. I'd rather have no sound, than hear language that I don't understand, & still have to read the subtitles. The point of the voice acting is so we don't have to read the text...

@bimmy-lee exactly what i was going to say. U can tell how good a game is, at best, by what they think they can sell it for.

I hate games that force AI companions on you that u can't control, so i avoided the game. I tolerated .ass effect due to the story, but they lost me w Andromeda when they took the control over squad mates away. I heard the story of dragon's dogma sucks, so I'm not sure i would stick to it like i did w mass effect. My backlog is still huge, so i don't have time to play games that are designed around my pet peeves, else i would have bought it for $8 on sale. Oh well. Hopefully there's a sequel that won't force multiplayer on us.

Darn, i hate when games force multiplayer & include party members I can't control. That's why i prefer turn based games, so i get to control everyone... Probably won't be for me.

Sadly, this site on mobile doesn't show the comments by default u have yo click to show comments, or type in the box on that same form, so it's just as easy to make a mew comment before seeing anything. That's bad design, IMO, for good conversations. I get they want incentive for as many ppl to comment as possible, but the people could still interact & thumbs up posts instead of everyone needing to type the same comment. Sorry, /end rant.

Meh. Give us the FF IX remake that was leaked to be in development. I don't care about cartoons or anime, personally, but this is good for those who do (depending on the quality, ofc).

@SearchingS i hate mech games, & retro looking games, so neither of those games were for me. With this game, a tactics game lover can finally have a decent square enix tactics game, ao i think it's a great move, personally. Way too many companies have no tactics games, so I'm glad someone is finally releasing a few. You can get action adventure games at every other developer.

@SearchingS this had no chibi style that i saw. Normally proportioned characters.

It looks fantastic, i hope it ends up being that way. They screwed us on FF VII remake & took turn based away, we don't need more action RPGs instead of turn based. If they want to make them in addition to, fine, but they have already screwed turn based fans enough. It's about time we get something that looks decent & not "retro".

@Yosher yep. I think to restrict the download size, it became extremely bloated. At least that was the excuse i heard. I lost interest for the same reason he did, tho, so i haven't gone back since the 1st set of stuff was "sunset".

@SNES64DD without getting into an argument, or a deeper discussion, if the CCP, not the Huawei CEO, decides to take the 3 lines of code you mentioned (that a Huawei worker uniquely supplied, & doesn't want used for a particular thing), is there any court or method in China that would prevent this & side with the citizen?

@Truegamer79 if u are cheating in online games, it makes it less fun to the vast majority of the gamers who play fairly... Nintendo should absolutely do something to stop people from having advantages in online multiplayer games.

(in regards to 2nd paragraph): Overarching genres work fine & are descriptive of the game play styles (action adventure, RPG, shooter, etc). It's not that difficult to understand. It's the sub genres that seem to cause the most confusion, especially when given by publishers for marketing purposes.

And why does a game who stole a gameplay style get credit for it, lol? The sub-genre should be called "metroid-like", FWIW.

@Silly_G it restarts u at the previous segment, so that would be accurate, IMO. U would have to fast forward from where it restarts u after making an incorrect guess, in order to return to the point where u made the incorrect guess before, so u can try again in the following phase. That's a mouthful, so i hope it makes sense. But, u can't just rewind to get to that point, because it takes u further back than u need to be, it seems.

Separate point: I saw this in the eShop a few days ago & almost wishlisted it, but saw the price, & was like...NO. u know this os short & has no replay value, so i couldn't see paying $50 for it, personally.

Only here to see if all the commenters from the zelda inspired games who claim, "they shouldn't be allowed to release because they copied so much," are here... I guess not (yet anyways). I imagine only specific games get that type of energy, regardless.

That has to be the worst trailer I've ever seen. Half of it may as well be a black screen, the other half looks like a mobile game in a tiny box, that certainly isn't made to be watched on mobile, ironically.

Great video. Looking forward to the game, especially hearing it's all single player. I have only seen 2 of the movies, so not a Harry Potter fan, necessarily, but i love magic & high fantasy games, so hopefully this will be up my alley.

@SteamEngenius exactly. On top of the genre being a more pop culture or mainstream type game, like a wii sports. I wouldn't be excited for games like that if i was a developer, if i worked at a studio capable of what retro was capable of, especially.

I can't blame them. Not a fan of Mario kart, or any kart racers, personally.

@BlueMonk 4 & 5 are the only ones I've played to completion, i tried 3 & others on 3ds, but they sucked to me. I wish things stayed the same, too, & I'd never need to play a persona game, because I'd have final fantasy, but things change. With those changes, original adopters feel slighted, but there's nothing we can do about it. For the sale they'd lose in you, they'd gain from people who feel like me. I guess we'll just have to wait & see.

They can keep the same character charm, they just need to do it more like persona 4 & 5, where u are actually doing something, so there's gameplay, & not just reading a visual novel. I f i wanted a visual novel, i wouldn't be playing a turn based jrpg. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@BlueMonk it definitely needs a remake, to get rid of the visual novel like portions & replace with actual gameplay in between the dungeons, IMO.

Is Xbox an option? I know so many ppl w only Xbox that would love to play Atlus & persona games. I guess they'll finally get to later this year, at least. I will fill out the survey shortly, thanks.
