Quite like the look of this. Will be following.
These graphics remind me of the PC games of the 90's
Looks pretty sharp
Looks cool,, but not quite there?!
What gorgeous pixel art!
Looks really interesting, can't wait to play this on switch. Downloading the ice breaker on steam now
Played ice breaker last week and enjoyed ir a Lot!! Amazing that the full game is coming yo switch!
Anyone knows if the game will contain the prologue ICE breaker too?
Despite utterly despising this art style that is used in a lot of these retro-inspired games, I do really like the look of those battle scenes.
Anyway, I’ll keep an eye on it because I genuinely do like the idea of all this.
The main character looks rather...bubbly for a cyberpunk hero. Where's my sad brooding loner!
Reminds me of Cosmic Star Heroine, and that's a good thing.
glad i clicked, looks more interesting than just saying its draw being traditional turn based, i'm not sure about that without a party though
This look pretty great! I wish there were more characters (party) to use, but what they showed looks engaging and like a lot of fun. I love the pixel aesthetic too. Reminds me a bit of Star Renegades, which is one of my all-time favorite indie games. Definitely interested!
I can't associate cyberpunk with an anime style. They just don't mesh with my definition of the genre.
I'm not feeling the character design, but it's something i can look past if the gameplay ends up being great. It looks like it may be up my alley in that department. 🤞
@JackMo that was my thought, exactly. Loved that game. The hacking aspect was in that game also, bit probably is different in this game.
@ChromaticDracula agree 💯.
@Ear_wiG I was thinking the same thing about the lack of party members. The battle screen seems to have a ton of negative space at the bottom that implied there would be some companions there...but no dice. I thought that was odd.
But the game does look interesting anyway.
@Dualmask Right! I was expecting new party members to pop in during the trailer. Maybe it was a budget thing? Ah well! 🤷🏻♂️
@Sonos final fantasy vii?
@LittleGhost I personally never thought of that as cyberpunk. I associate the genre with grittier characterizations - not just a dystopian, dark future. But I also never saw FF7 as particularly anime either. Maybe Cait Sith.
That's me though.
Cyberpunk Golden Sun? Awesome if so.
"Wake the **** up, Isaac. We got a city to burn."
Very interested, but the "everything is green" combat look is already dull and lifeless after seeing it only a dozen times in a trailer. Can't imagine a full playthrough. The overworld looks amazing though!
Maybe I'm missing a bunch but the combat looks very bland. Your 500th battle in that style might not be as cool. Thought it was a grid system which would have been cool maybe but then the enemies are standing in the middle of them so I'm guessing it's more earthbound like.
