While I'm excited thereo finally releasing in the US, I'm horribly disappointed that there not coming to 3ds. I've literally been waiting since they announced virtual console for 3ds and it's just sad that it just won't happen.
Fairly lackluster today, but a Pokken Tournament is kinda nice since I've been on the fence about it. Of course the big thing today is Miitomo, so it's understandable.
I remember seeing something similar on tumblr. It was a very 80s style reader with similar graphics. I wonder if this is the same game, because I saw that a couple years ago.
I don't know. I mean, if it IS the controller, it's definitely not a final prototype. It might very well be the dev kit controller for programming purpose. But I would expect the NX controller have at least hand grips or something to offset the oval shape. But I guess we'll all find out soon enough.
I've been playing with it for a few days now and even manage to get a couple friends in on it. So far it's been fun. I like being able to buy new outfits and take pictures using miifoto. I understand they plan to evolve it it and all, so I hope they eventually let you decorate your room too. My current room is kinda boring. I'm looking forward to its official release in the US so I can actually link my Nintendo account and get a little more in depth.
I've been very hesitant to buy Alot of digital on WiiU, mainly because of the lack of easy accessibility on multiple systems and the lack of console based storage (I know I can attach an external, that's not the point) so as long as Im able to use things easily between multiple systems, like Xbox and Playstation allows, then I'll stick with physical as much as possible.
The story is different for 3DS though. About 90% of all my games in 3ds are digital. Mostly for the sake of convenience. The only games I buy physical for it are single player, play-once-and-done games. Anything Multiplayer is always digital because you never know when you'll need that game and having it on the system makes that easy. Again, I wish they'd fix it so I can have multiple systems tied to my account... But I'll take what I can get.
If their big push for digital is gonna happen, then they need better access to purchase and plenty of storage space on hand. 500gb consoles won't handle many full size retail games these days...
Well let's say you don't link your account. At least on Android when it becomes available, couldn't you just link your account then and retain all you've done up to that point? Or does linking your account replace your current game information and force you to start over.
i got a eshop card for christmas so ill admit that ive spent some money on this. but i love being able to customize my system so i dont regret it. Im hoping for more of the pixel collection to drop soon. I'd love to drop Consoles badges on folders to help seperate all my games. I need a 3DS, NES, Game Boy Advance, Game Gear And Genesis icons to make a complete set for Organization purposes.
Though I'd have to figure out what to use for the eShop games...
This is probably one of my favorite portable games of all time. I've always hoped for a re release, using maybe wind waker graphics. Just seems like a right fit. It was also my first real adventure into the world of Zelda.
It'll be interesting to see what comes out of it all in the future. I'm sure at some point someone will create a working Bootable rom and individuals will start making homemade games, or even rehashing old snes games using cd data (chrono trigger comes to mind) from games released on other systems. Maybe at some point there will even be a Bootable working game disc...
Maybe if they would just bring PSO2 to the west then maybe they'd make some money. They already have an English version released for the Southeast Asia area, would it really cost them that much to just convert a couple of those servers over to accommodate it?
WiiU games I tend to buy physical mainly because of the lack of being able to sign in and download on multiple systems. Once Nintendo implements that I'd be more willing provided the space is available.
I have the Super Mario Adventures comic in graphic novel form. I got it years ago and I used to read through it all the time. I'm totally gonna have break it out now and give it another read.
It was a good idea with a terrible follow through. I think that people were just not familiar with it. If it had been a little more connected with actual TV providers instead of just a digital TV Guide then it probably would have caught more traction.
I love Criterion Games. They've made some amazing racing games over the years and if Nintendo had been able to give them the project I think it would have been amazing. Sadly through they've been hacked apart and dismantled by EA now so it will never be the same. We may not even get another Burnout game.
I actually made my own case from Duct tape and made a hole where the light is so I could tell I had a streetpass without having to take it out. So good idea, but a little late for me.
I wish these would come to the US. I would love to have the Xenoblade 3ds and honestly I like the fact it's not a digital copy. It's a really big game and once it's finished it's just taking up space on your memory card.
First of all, Zelda is simply just delayed. Stop reading into something that doesn't exist. Would you rather it be pushed and rushed and end up being glitchy just like several other AAA releases in recent years. Just because the next console is announced, that doesn't mean it it's coming out this year, next year or even the year after. It doesn't even mean that it will end up being WiiU's replacement. If anything the 3ds is the next to be phased out. There are many great games available now and still coming for WiiU and the indie developer scene continues to grow on a platform that once made it near impossible for a startup to make money on their own games. Nintendo is not Sony and they are not Microsoft. They have and will always continue to do things their own way. Stop worrying about what's coming and just enjoy the games. I feel too many people try to force politics into the gaming industry and forget that games are about having fun.
Thats terribly disappointing. I really enjoyed Fantasy Life but I just don't see the same playability on a smartphone. I may download it providing it's a free game and try it but I'm already turned off.

Can anyone confirm whether or not you can trade with people on R/B/Y over the Internet or will it just be local wireless?

I'll play it. I mean, I'll pretty much play anything Nintendo or its subsidiaries put out. Because it's usually not crappy.

Pokemon Red was my first and my Favorite. And while I played through all the others Y was the first one to really Suck me back in and enjoy it.

HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED.
Re: Poll: The Tricky Issue of Retail Games as Download-Only Releases

Re: Poll: The Tricky Issue of Retail Games as Download-Only Releases
My policy for 3ds games have been to buy Multiplayer games digitally and single player games physically. Most the time when you run into someone who wants to play a 3ds game you both need the game. I don't like carrying around a bunch of carts so anything I think I may play Multiplayer (Mario Kart, animal crossing, Pokémon, etc.) I buy digital. Single player games like Mario 3d Land, legend of Zelda and others I buy physical because once you're done with the game you most likely won't play it again.

@ekreig Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut was released and was really good IMO, but I don't know if there have been others.

Possible, but not likely.
I'd love to see Phantasy Star Online 2 come out on NX... But that's a stretch.
