I can think of another word beginning with "S" that would decribe this sale. It rhymes with hit.
....I'm kinda sick of seeing the word "discount" at this point.
You get a discount. And you get a discount. You're all getting discounts!
At this stage of the game I'm not buying anything on the Wii U no matter what the sale is. Console will be gone in another month and a half, so my money sits in a pot with the word "Switch" scrawled across in magic marker.
Been waiting for a sale on Guacamelee, so half price sounds good to me.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE It's also synonymous with the Xbox brand just in case you're starved for a hint, people.
Maybe SEVERED.
Rayman Legends for $20 that's a STEAL for that game!!!
Guacamelee is a really good game too
I will take some of that miracle cure, Dr. Mario. How much do I ow....$7???? Not on MY dime!!!
I'm definitely going to pick up Pocket Card Jockey. I loved the demo, and have been waiting for a sale. Risky's Revenge is tempting, but I already have it on PC. I'm thinking about Severed and/or Gurumin, but I have so much to play right now, and those discounts aren't that amazing. Then again, I still have a pile of eshop funds that I bought at 15% off on Black Friday...
I really really really enjoyed Severed. My only issue was that I beat it 100% in under 10 hours. I paid the full price, and felt I could have gotten a little more bang for my buck. On sale, I'd say definitely give this one some consideration.
Lots of good games on this list!
Need deeper discounts...
Could Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold PLEASE go on sale? I haven't bought it yet because I know that the Thursday after I splurge the game will go on sale for $13.99.
@GeminiSaint Right you are. Maybe now I can finally try out Risky's Revenge, River City Tokyo Rumble, Severed, and Pirate Pop Plus.
If you don have Pocket Card Jockey yet, get it!
I might get Dr. Mario.
I'm surprised Splatoon hasn't dropped to at least $40! That's a game I still really wanna play...if only I had a Wii U.
Anyway, goes to show that you might as well buy first party games on release day because NO USE WAITING FOR A SALE...THEY AIN'T DROPPIN' IN PRICE FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE YEARS.
This sale is amazing if you buy a Wii u in 2017
STILL no discount on Metroid Prime Trilogy...ugh. I know it's available on My Nintendo, but I would prefer a higher discount than 20%.
this is where I remind people to get project mirai if they don't already have it
Splatoon on sale on Wii U seems like a weird choice if they are going to announce the port or sequel on Switch tonight. If Wii U is getting Spla2oon then by all means.
Actually any sale on Wii U games seems weird unless it's attached to the announcement of all remaining Wii U stock selling for $99 and all games for 75% off. These are digital games on a dead system, sell them for 75% off now before we all unplug our Wii U and nobody cares anymore.
I have been interested in getting Severed on 3DS and due to contradictory reviews I held off. NL never reviewed the 3DS version for some reason. Can anyone here confirm that the 3DS version is on par with the WiiU version?
I done already own Splatoon, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, Adventures of Pip, Rayman Legends for the Wii U as for the rest of the games they don't interest me at all. Also I have a bigger problem with my wii u right now than purchasing more digital games, this morning my hard drive went dead and I lost alot of game saves and games. Trying to decide if I should just hold out on purchasing a new hdd since the Switch will be coming out soon.
Most of games are 1$ hahahahha ... yeah discount well played Nintendo
Bought Pocket Card Jockey immediately. Best afterlife solitaire horse racing simulator ever.
@mowerdude: If you are talking about your WU's internal drive, I would get mine fixed. If you are talking about an ext.(external) drive, you may want to see how, & (even) if (at all) Nintendo is going to handle WU to NS/Switch purchase transfers.
As for this list, maybe one of the Shantae titles. or MvsDK2.
Severed is a great game.
Nothing, (s)aving my money for the "(s)o expensive" $300 (possibly) Nintendo (S)witch. 😆
How do they come up with these prices? $7.01, really?
@ap0001 Second that! Loved the demo. Almost ordered from Amazon Warehouse at 31 bucks. Better to have it digital.
Also, the complete lists hover at around 120 titles. Plus, you get an extra 10% from My Nintendo.
I think SEVERED is also Cross-Buy.
Nothing
OMG. Splatoon is old game now why that high price!? Even with cut it's still too much. Nuff said
Surprised by the discount on Yo-Kai. Grabbing a copy for my 3DS.
@helbertpina Is the first, year-old Yokai. Buyer beware!!
@chiefeagle02 It is. Sadly, not Noitu Devolution.
@rjejr
Plot Twist: they announce Switch gets delayed!
I could get some of these like Severed and Pirate Plus. Mirai DX is always recommended since the newest Miku is PS4 exclusive.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE "Schlitz"?
Gurumin is mine at last.
SEVERED is also crossbuy, so please mention that. It really helps people like me who spend so much time figuring out which version of a game to buy that they sometimes miss the entire deal in the process.
Got Pocket Card Jockey for less than $5 with the extra 10% discount for MyNintendo members. Also SEVERED! at last!
Two of the best reviewed games from last year, so I feel this is a good sale.
@TrueWiiMaster Pocket card jockey is a great game! I enjoyed it very much
Everybody gets a discount, look under your seats!!
I may have to pick up Pocket Card Jockey at that price...
I bought Gurumin 3D ^_^
