It's probably controversial to call this the best 3d Sonic game but glad the port/ remaster is passable.

@RobbySuave The game to be better. That's the problem when you like a series that fails to live up to your past favourites. It's a fine game that just feels barren and rushed. If this gets the Kirby treatment, it will end up great. If this gets the Mario Tennis treatment then it doesn't really change barring some new characters and maybe a course or two. I'm not trying to hate on the game for no reason, this just isn't enough for me to pick it up again

Still doesn't really fix my lack of content problem but I'm sure some people will be happy with this.

A shame because it is by far the worst one... I bought it and regret adding to these figures.

Nintendo likes using older technology to save costs. By using newer technology to upgrade the Switch (despite it being minor), prices are obviously going to have to rise. It doesn't seem like rocket science here. Profit margins are probably the same between this and the old model, just a slightly higher cost per unit.

@johnvboy You know all opinions are subjective, right? I'm not saying I'm right. Just saying what I thought about the game. A lack of content. I have PGA Tour 21 if I want to play vanilla golf.

I mean, Mario Golf Super Rush is selling. That's nice. This is probably the first Mario sports game I have regretted buying at full price. There just isn't very much there. I started replaying the 3DS and Gameboy advance games and this just doesn't compare.

I mean. I am getting this in the hope that Sega keeps giving their old franchises new love whilst expecting very little. Infinite lives seems like an option that will suit me so seems like a decent callback. At least it isn't a full price £50 game.

Wouldn't it be funny if the changes to the tutorials was to increase the amount of Fi dialogue

I mean. i'm mixed about this game already. I think it will be a great party game and a good online game like the 3DS game was but... I just have a feeling that the single player 'rpg' bit won't scratch the itch I've had since the GBA days. Hopeful but realistic.

I agree with this. I think Nintendo did well but I was more hyped from Microsoft's conference. Nintendo's conference targeted core Nintendo fans really well but Microsoft's seemed more wide-ranging to me. Made me want an Xbox for the first time

@fafonio I think that Fire Emblem are better games but that they need to take slightly longer between games (Three Houses story didn't fit for me). Agreed that these games are excellent however and hope they become successful enough that WayForward get to make their own game

If this makes the Nintendo Direct I will burst out laughing. I enjoy darts and enjoy bullseye but we all know what sort of game this is.

Bought it last year on the Japanese e-shop. It is good but not great. The London 2012 game was far deeper and this is much more arcadey. Online mode is pretty dead but it's alright fun.

I like the visuals.

Generations on Switch would be pretty great. It is probably the greatest game and I always wondered why they left that format to go on to Lost World, Boom and Forces

The game is on mobile phones. Smells iffy to me.
And, by the by, reporting on rumours is part of being a journalist. You can't just wear blinkers and pretend to ignore leaks and rumours. If you don't like it, maybe don't click on it when it clearly says 'RUMOUR'

I like the Stadia idea but I think Google have half-arsed it. They only just put in a search bar and they don't have a library that is big enough to warrant the subscription model. I will say the idea of video game streaming is sound and will grow over time, but they need to understand what consumers want in a way that Google haven't. (I.e. Charging full price for games when the model works best with the subscription idea).

Another bad game to join the collection. Nice.

Hard to pick a top 5 and this changes constantly but The top 2 always seem to stay the same

11 and 9 are both amazing. 9 is probably my favourite, followed by 11, 8, 5, 6 and 4. The rest are sort of together as a pretty good lump. My favourite RPG's without any doubt and I wish it got as much press as Final Fantasy in the West.

I want a physical version and I'm going to hold off for a while just hoping they will release one. Happy they're releasing such a niche title though.

Worldwide MMO would be cool. Other than that, DQ12 feels inevitable but would kill for a remake of DQ9 to the Switch, probably the best game in the series.

@Lukandon The Atelier Series is a much more laid back series of RPG's; usually focusing on wonder and mystery instead of world-ending threats. I get why the reviewer called this a con but to some, simplistic storytelling is a good thing.

I mean. I'm buying it but that's because I have a problem, not because this looks excellent. Style might bring it through for some.

I just like the concept of giving these games DLC. I find it genuinely hilarious that you can get extra maps for cluedo and extra 'content' for the Game of Life. What a world we live in

I mean, I would love to buy it but... That price... It's why I haven't bought the first one on Switch. It's RRP is $14.99 on Steam and is constantly on sale. I don't really think up-rezzing a gamecube game is going to add much so why is it $29.99. It's just too much, man.

Got to say, despite never playing the first game, very excited to play this. I have always enjoyed Pokemon spinoffs and this looks like it will be as good as I want it to be.
