Eh. It's a good game

Whenever I hear a '''''leak''''''' like this, I begin hoping that they are wrong with all my being. Leaking and rumour-mongering will always happen but I yearn for a future where these people are ignored and we can all just wait patiently for actual news.
But I am a dreamer.

Still haven't really seen anything about modes. If it is completely online-focused, as it is increasingly seeming like it is, I might pass. It just doesn't keep me as engaged as good single-player content. Hope I'm wrong.

@johnvboy Not sure it's about not making new games; more just preserving the old so that future generations can experience the roots of gaming. Like museums and galleries but for games.

I mean... Is it just me that is struggling to see anything new about this one in comparison to the old ones. I'm doubting there is much single player stuff to do and considering how disappointed I was with golf and aces, I can't justify picking this up regardless of how much I enjoyed the previous entries. Underwhelming to me but I'm sure other people will find something to enjoy, especially if you haven't played a GameCube or a Wii.

18+? Mario After Dark?

Tried the generous demo on Steam and it was a blast. 100 percent day 1 purchase.

The demo was fun but considering the subject matter, it makes sense.

I was initially unimpressed but a closer look at these screenshots leave me much more optimistic. Sure, I know the framerate won't be amazing but it looks like a step up from Sword and Shield.

@Fairburne prior entries are fine but much better on other systems.

Splitscreen isn't coming to he switch version, according to their website anyway. Great series but just isn't viable on switch without adaptive triggers for throttle and braking

I liked the old games but this trailer made the game look bland. Still hopeful but looks like the same game as was on the wii. Hoping fore more.

I'm not a massive fan of huge corporations (because of course) but I understand why buying a game studio can be both good and bad. Honestly, just for the potential positives that come with it, I would like to see a closer relationship between Sega and Nintendo but people willing a company to buy out another one is bizarre. Maybe instead of buying a company, an exclusivity contract could be struck or something. I dunno. It's a weird world now, man.

My problem with these reimaginings of Nintendo games in Unreal Engine is that they sort of become bland and soulless. I mean it looks pretty but I'd take a low resolution BOTW style game over the bland Skyrim-like Unreal engine any day.

My headline on this game would be it's fun but boy is it ugly. The gameplay is decent and sort of reminds me of a 3d version of Pokémon ranger. But man, this game is painful to look at, to the extent that I doubt I'll finish it. Massive shame really

You speak the truth. The game was a fun time waster. It would probably go down better on mobile but I'd love a return to this game.

I actually started replaying this game the other day and it holds up remarkably well.
I remember setting a time on the Wuhu track in time trials and my brother was amazed that I was going so fast. Good memories.

A little surprised but credit where it's due. Nice stuff.

It's a decent game... on PS4. But yeah, I just cant get behind racing games on the switch because of the controller. Arcade racers or bust on the switch, methinks

I feel mixed about these games. They are all good rpg's. But the Switch one in particular felt too old school for me. Like really boring by the end. Turned based combat is good but the amount of time and effort to reach the true ending is draining, man.
Still, I'd probably buy more Bravely games so my criticism doesn't really matter.

I wanted to like it but they destroyed the controls. No amount of characters of courses could fix this for me. A shame, because there is a lot of good in the game.

Well, after being one of the biggest supporters of the Switch to this point, after about 4 years, I have finally sort of got sick of the console and moved to the PS5; with only the odd exclusive resulting me in picking up the switch. I'm just a bit bored of it all now. But, I'm glad others are still finding joy from this console. it certainly has its perks

Both Yooka games have their own pros and cons. And with some more money and experience, there is no reason a new 3D game cant be great

I started playing again as soon as the direct airs and this game still has legs. Bonkers how much is in the game already before this mega patch and DLC. Happy to jump back in for the next few months

I am happy to find other people who have finally ascended and understand that this game is the best of the best. Granted, I haven't played a bad AA game but Apollo felt like it added so much compared to the first 3, it just felt fresh and Trucy remains my favourite character.

I'd like AA7 but something completely new would be cool too; maybe in the vein of the Layton X AA spinoff

I was surprised that they dispatched my copy for this price. I only ordered because a Team Knowhow member (Curry's customer service team) commented on some tweets. Pretty stoked to get it so cheap.

I mean, this is good news but Cricket 19 ran pretty badly on Switch. Got to hope they optimise it better or I might just buy it on Ps5

This will be the first Metroid game I have bought. They have done a stand-out job of marketing this game to appeal to more than just the core fans

It's a bad game with potential. It makes me want Platinum to have another crack at the series. Hopefully in a way which isn't another remake/reimagining of the same Star Fox story they've recycled for 25 years
