Bought Galaxy 2 cuz I already have 1 via 3D All-Stars.

It’s pretty good, arguably worth £33.99 despite some horrible level design and repetitive bosses….and the ability to play SMG2 wherever I want, without having to dabble even more in emulation, is a childhood dream come true!!

Even if I had a loaded gun to my head, I will NEVER buy that.

The lack of GTA IV, Phasmophobia, NASCAR 25 (it looks cool, and I wouldn't mind being able to play it whereever I want) and Batman Arkham Origins hurts my soul, but this is a rather solid list despite that!! I'd be one of the first in line to get SH2 on NS2!!!!!

Prediction: December 2025 release as part of the inevitable update for the game’s 1 year anniversary.

If the game gets cross progression (like The Witcher 3 did in 2022), I’d be interested in double dipping.

Yayy!! Also I hope this motivates WB/NetherRealm Studios to somehow add Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Mortal Kombat 4 onto NSO soon, and maybe the other MK games onto the SNES/GBA/Genesis lineups as well!!

(I'd love to see levels from the 2D Mario titles redone in Wonder's engine with the power-ups from those games as well, like NSMB2 did with its Gold Classics Pack but BETTER!!)

Personally I'd like Tekken Advance to be on NSO someday, we haven't had a Tekken title on a Nintendo console since Tag Tournament 2 for Wii U after all...

@Hairlesswookiee Fr it would make tons of sense to put Arkham Origins/Asylum/City on Switch, all of em ran good on the Xbox 360 and the Switch is slightly powerful than that.
All WB has gotta do is just get the people who ported DOOM 2016 to Switch to get the games onto it!!

I respectfully disagree, considering that Hotel Mario and other shovelware-y games featuring the most famous plumber in gaming exist.

I’m interested in like 3 of the games listed here so this year is kinda mid for me personally, could be worse tho, at least it isn’t the horrific dripfeed of 2020.

The only Switch port that released in 2022 I’ve played is NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition, which I’m still playing through to this very day, absolutely phenomenal title made better by the ability to play it anywhere without a decent laptop or a Steam Deck!! Am slightly miffed that Panic Button (the GODS of Switch ports, they did DOOM, DOOM Eternal, etc for the hybrid) weren’t contracted to work on the port, because I bet they could’ve got it to 60fps!!

Oh well, I’m happy with it regardless… : D

My favourite Nintendo Switch games of 2022 are either Mario Strikers: Battle League (yes, I know, it launched awfully, idc, I've had fun with it, and the music is great!), NieR: Automata The End of YoRHA Edition and Bayonetta 3.

I tried the demo for the new 3D Kirby game and it was fun, didn't bother buying it though.

I hope 2023 is a bit more full of games that I personally would like to buy, am hoping for Tomodachi Life 2 to be announced in the next Nintendo Direct but that's probably less likely to happen than Super Mario Maker 2 getting a new update that adds a Super Mario Bros. 2 theme.....

They can make it run on Switch, because if Panic Button can get DOOM Eternal working well on the console, then I’m sure GTA V can work, especially considering it’s been on weaker hardware than the Switch before (360/PS3)!!!

Honestly, while I do think that Pilotwings 64 is alright, I believe that Super Smash Bros. (1999) should’ve been the N64 NSO game for this month, would’ve been funny imo since balance patches and DLC stopped for Smash Ultimate in October 2021.

Well either that or Mortal Kombat 4/Trilogy (one of the two I don’t mind) since it’s Halloween Month and MK is one of the more spooky gaming franchises.
