It's unfortunate that companies like Microsoft seemingly put a stop to cool cameos like this by demanding content parity. And I would absolutely love SCII on Switch, one of the best fighting games I ever played.

Why are some Europeans like this... I thought we were a more liberal continent in this regard

You realize the birthrates in Europe, where immigration is high, are also not good? Some countries even are on the same level as Japan. No personal offense meant, but that is a really stupid and pretty imperialistic argument.

I strongly disliked XB3 in many aspects, but good for those that liked it. I would have definitely picked Elden Ring over Xenoblade 3.

Extremely disappointing news since there frankly is not much reason that the game couldn't have come out in the same time frame as the JP version, but I don't know what I expected.

The game was already localized over a decade ago, it's also out already in Japan. The fact that this is taking so long is ludicrous. This is Marvelous and Xseed not some 1 man team.

Oh QuizKnock is working on this! I know them from a collaboration they did with some Vtubers. Hopefully their puzzles can live up to the quality of the classic Layton games.

Also, this may come out of left field, but I hope the global release of this won't be overshadowed by the Switch successor coming out.

I guess if there's anything positive to take from this news, at least now people will probably be more aware of the fact that this is a Gal Gun spinoff with characters from that series, just by name alone.

Good choice. The way they showed the concept in B3 wasn't the best idea imo so a demo is really important here to convince the public I think.

First of all I wouldn't consider the Atelier series part of western pop culture lol. To imply that these games have any sort of effect on the realities of the life of a woman seems extremely far fetched.

But that aside there's plenty of impossible standards set for men, or do you think most guys are hunks who look like Leon S. Kennedy, or any of the male Resident Evil characters for that matter? But do I think that's bad? No, I like playing as an attractive dude, and women who play the games like to fantasize about them, no issue with that. People like seeing attractive characters in their media, both men and women do.

I think Duel Princess was also pulled from online storefronts because of ratings problems. However in this case I'm not sure it's that since Grim Guardians is still on PSN and Steam according to the article. Curious.

Now this is what motion controls are perfect for. Silly fun stuff.

This is a totally generic take and not really fresh at all. And if you don't think so you must be delusional or somehow still live in the 90s.

I probably said this once before already, but it's very uplifting to see a game that was previously censored outside of Japan be released without the stupid censorship at last. Getting it for that reason alone. The game itself looks alright.

REALLY looks a lot like the old Mana games.

Look at the title *G*rim *G*uardians *D*emon *P*urge, GG DP Gal*Gun Double Peace.

Sounds more like Castlevania than Metroidvania. But I'm fine with that, definitely gonna have fun with this. Although the issue with the voices is a bit annoying hopefully that'll be patched.

But I have one question for the reviewer: Why is Gal Gun not mentioned at any point in this review??? This game is a Gal Gun spinoff, it even has the same initials and the characters, very weird not to mention that, no? Unless I missed it somewhere.

A direct? What's the point of having a direct for a movie? I'll just watch the trailer later.

Ah too bad about no physical. Still, definitely gonna play this.

Very interesting art. Let's see if this will be one of the more middling or good NIS games.

I just don't like anything the designers at Illumination put out. Never did, always thought it was all ugly and unpleasant looking. Especially Minions.

This is also a spinoff, but yes. This one and the 3DS game you mentioned were the only ones that got official translations.

A variety of reasons, but the biggest one is probably the fact that their service sucks.

I'd generally be pretty interested in a physical copy of this, but Limited Run Games? Yeah no, if I play it I'll get the digital version then. Not giving that company a cent.

Yeah I was really disappointed to hear that there's no touch controls, especially when other games like Etrian Odyssey or Ghost Trick do better.

Maybe the white chocolate clean sweep has to do with the fact that this game is bigger in Japan than here? They surely have different tastes in Asia.

That's a big loss, all the best to him in his future work. I have a bad feeling he's gonna end up at Tencent or some similar place...

I wonder if there's gonna be a huge drop in viewership and interest now that he's gone? Obviously in the beginning everyone will tune in out of curiosity and hype, I'm talking long term.

Could not care less. Frankly it's a pro for me as now all discussion pertaining to the game and it's characters will be less painted by a wrong perception created by the dub, looking at you Xenoblade...

The box art is nothing to write home about, but yes I am absolutely getting the physical release day 1!

When was that, 20 years ago lol? I had multiple DSes because the hinges would all fail and either the l or r button would stop working.

I don't think they could easily reintroduce marriage like how it was in Awakening and Fates. Now that all sexes and sexualities have to have the same experience it seems, I don't know how you could have marriage and children in FE... unless you make it kinda stupid...
Edit: Granted, it was already kinda stupid in Fates for other reasons.
