I'm not gonna demean his legacy or imply that any faults with Nintendo games during his presidency were his fault, he is dearly missed and I liked all games he was involved with, but as far as I can tell he never stepped in during Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, arguably the worst one.
How is this a problem for Nintendo? Sorry if I come off as an idiot but they're making huge profits right now, is it really that important that their stock price stays high?
The existence of the lite actually pisses me off The fact that millions of switch owners have a lite means that devs have to make their games with those users in mind and I'm convinced that's the reason why WarioWare GiT does not have hardware features as its primary focus. Or maybe I'm just yelling at clouds...
@westman98 I guess you could say the first one was priced cheaper and there was a bigger group of potential customers... but yeah not looking to be a great success in japan at least unfortunately. Unless maybe the digital sales are great, but looking at the e-shop charts I doubt it
@russell-marlow dude most people don't really care about reviews, they see bright colours, Mario, multiplayer, power ups/crazy stuff(speed golf) and the fact that summer holiday has started and that's all it takes. I highly doubt that the average Joe will check nintendolife before he makes his decision to buy a game
Happy for Camelot, but I feel like they should re-negotiate their schedule with Nintendo now that they have to make HD games as they seem to have issues finishing up games with a lot of content included. Because of this I have unfortunately not bought their most recent games, but still I'm looking forward to what the future brings
Definitely getting WarioWare, Metroid, Mario Party and SMTV( which you left out for some reason even though it is included in the European Nintendo release list?). Beyond that I'm interested in Triangle Strategy, Splatoon 3, BotW sequel and Bayo 3
@Grumblevolcano Very unfortunate if that really is true, there's a lot of potential still left on the table, especially for something like WarioWare. I'm sure the game will still be great fun, but I had hoped that more games would make use of the joycons features as a central focus instead of just making everything for the lowest common denominator.
@weoputjlsldfkj Unfortunately it seems like many people nowadays don't really care what kinda games a platform has to offer and just want the best service for the money
Don't understand how this is newsworthy? UK was never big on Nintendo. Now if the Switch was dead last in France and Germany then it would be cause for concern
@Low
Oh come on, Switch already is super girl friendly, there's even a whole subcategory on the Nintendo.jp website for Otome games. Honestly I wouldn't mind some more male pandering here and there...
Hmm, well frankly I don't know if you can really blame anyone for the situation at hand. Most of the quirky and niche games on Nintendo's handhelds were made by 3rd parties, not Nintendo, so I don't think Nintendo is working at a lower capacity. However they could absolutely commission more games from smaller companies, which they are already doing, but they could do more of that. Also, since the switch is a HD system developers have to put in way more work for games on the platform, at which point they'd rather just make multiplats, and those that would make games for the Switch(like Atlus for example) still have to get adjusted to HD development and make some transitions, which don't always go well.
At least these are problems which will hopefully lessen as time goes on

Can you not just go away and come back?
Re: Feature: Zooming Through Sonic Colors: Ultimate And Getting The Switch Lowdown
Don't really see why this had to get a remaster, an upscaled budget release would have been fine

Re: Video: 9 Exciting New Games Coming to Nintendo Switch In August
Looking forward to NMH3 from the games listed here, but I'm also getting the Shadowverse game which is not mentioned here

Really looking forward to this
Re: We Could Have Had A New "Ultra-Realistic" F-Zero On Switch, But Nintendo Turned It Down
Considering his track record I feel like what he showed just wasn't very good and they tried to politely reject him. Good programmer though
Re: Square Enix Confirms The Next Mana Game For Console Is Now In Development
Hmm I don't know... I'd rather have a new game by Grezzo
Re: Review: Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny - A Series High Point, Just Not For Performance

Unless you speak Japanese you'll be stuck with the switch version, or I guess use illegitimate means to play it...
Re: Review: Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny - A Series High Point, Just Not For Performance
Nice to hear! Looking forward to getting this next week(maybe even with a patch that fixes the performance a bit?)
Re: 'Castlevania Advance Collection' Possibly Revealed By Rating In Australia
Honestly since the rerelease of Rondo and Symphony are exclusive to PS4 this should be exclusive to Switch
Re: Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water Jumps From Wii U To Switch And, Surprisingly, Other Platforms
Hmm strange decision but OK. Imagine if Pokemon was going multi-platform hahaha
Re: One Of The World Premieres For The Summer Game Fest Is A New Weezer Song

Seems neato, but not really something that warrants a launch purchase, prolly get it later on when there's nothing to play or I see it for cheap
