I don't know where all these people are coming from who've never had problems with any controller besides the joycon lmao. I've never had any of my controllers drift be it, DS4, 360 pad or Joy Cons. However I've had plenty of other issues, 360 pad not wanting to turn on/connect and Sticks wearing out and getting sticky, having the entire stick assembly of the DS3 getting stuck, let's not even talk about the DS lite which I'm sure if something equivalent released today would have people outraged and lastly I did have connection issues with my Joy Con when the Switch was behind the TV in the living room and I sat too far away. But never any drift, so I must be lucky I guess

The success of this game was heavily held back by the introduction of paid online. At least that's what I believe. Myself and some other gamers I know didn't get SMM2 for precisely that reason

It's unfortunate that it's releasing here in the same timeframe as Pokemon and SMT, but I will be sure to check it out once I'm done with SMT. I really like Gust games anyway and this seems to be even better than usual

Aww man, I don't think we're getting a Metroid collab again, even though it would have fit much better in Rise than in 4U

Why are people here talking like Playstation doesn't have physical games??? When big games come out that aren't on Switch they still appear at the top of these sales lists, and the Japanese are still big fans of physical retail games. Feels like people wanna downplay this

Well if this will mean we get another console game, similar to what happened with Pokemon and Animal Crossing, then I don't mind even if I have absolutely no interest at all. And frankly they obviously are working on Pikmin stuff considering the great sales success of Pikmin 3DX

Very respectful action to take, but I think it's obvious this is all on Dispatch Games and City Connection just made a bad choice in who to partner with for a western retail release. I guess now they probably won't work together again

I'm not gonna demean his legacy or imply that any faults with Nintendo games during his presidency were his fault, he is dearly missed and I liked all games he was involved with, but as far as I can tell he never stepped in during Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, arguably the worst one.

The existence of the lite actually pisses me off
The fact that millions of switch owners have a lite means that devs have to make their games with those users in mind and I'm convinced that's the reason why WarioWare GiT does not have hardware features as its primary focus. Or maybe I'm just yelling at clouds...

I guess you could say the first one was priced cheaper and there was a bigger group of potential customers... but yeah not looking to be a great success in japan at least unfortunately. Unless maybe the digital sales are great, but looking at the e-shop charts I doubt it

@russell-marlow dude most people don't really care about reviews, they see bright colours, Mario, multiplayer, power ups/crazy stuff(speed golf) and the fact that summer holiday has started and that's all it takes. I highly doubt that the average Joe will check nintendolife before he makes his decision to buy a game
