@pneumaticgnosis
''Voice work takes months''
Hah, she has stated herself that voicing a whole Bayonetta game took less than a weeks worth of work. ''I recorded for four days.'' She usually repeats a line 3 times and that's it. Her own words.
Edit: I realized I probably should back up what I say lol. Look up her interview with Nintendo Players UK on Youtube, timestamp is around 7:50. There she talks about how much work voicing Bayo was.

Very funny comment section, though I assume most are not old enough to have ever considered learning about this topic. At any rate, read up on how public companies, stock trading etc works. Not saying it'll help with all your financial troubles, but knowing a bit more about the machinations of this very important system that is integral to modern society can't hurt

Re: The Studio Behind Excite Truck And Excitebots Has Been Acquired By iRacing

God Damn! Nintendo buy some f**cking studios already. They're working with their old strategy of just asking for contracted games and because of that we missed out on more cool Bomber Man, Donkey Kong/other Rare games, Mario&Luigi, games by Skip, SMT that doesn't rely on the stupid Unreal Engine and now studios like Grasshopper and Marvelous are owned in part/wholly by Chinese companies.
The market is being partitioned and if Nintendo doesn't try to get a piece of that pie they'll miss out, and ultimately we will miss out.

Re: Rare Founder's New Project Isn't What You Might Expect

I like the idea for a phone app and don't mind trying new things, especially if it's AR, but these models look a bit... uncanny? They are not quite hyper realistic but also not very stylized. I didn't think I was gonna make this comparison but they look like they're from a western 3DCG "adult" game. If they were heavily stylized like the in game models in the Style Savvy/Style Boutique games it would look much better, and it's not like today's generation is opposed to such an artstyle

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUU-
Wow, not in a million years would I have expected this to happen. To be honest I can't wrap my head around how this happened.
Edit: Actually I just now remembered that they had to scrap the Vita version because of performance issues and that the PS4 sometimes has trouble running the game so that just makes this even more surprising
