Quick question while we are all here; does anyone else have issues with the HD rumble in Blaster Master 0? I was playing it in handheld mode with the sound off in bed. When i got hit, the buzz of the right joy con was so loud it woke my wife up! Doesn't seem right to me. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that or broken. Don't want to buy 1 2 Switch just to test the rumble. Any advice would be great!

Missed the pre-order but seeing as I've never even looked at the tat in the Fire Emblem Echoes limited edition, I'm not going to worry. Would like to pre-order the Axiom Verge limited edition when ever that's about though.

It's amazing that people are buying more than one because they know they will be limited. Talk about needless selfish greed. What is the point in an unopened box on a shelf? Way to fill your house with crap, hoarder.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Nope. It freezes on the home screen when i try to open it. Have to hold the power button for 4 seconds to turn Wii U off. I could always try deleting it and re downloading but CBA.

I've got Art of Balance on Wii U. Was a great game but it doesn't open for me anymore. I can't figure out why.

Hopefully if nintendolife know another outlet with better prices, they do right by their readers and link them as well, affiliate link or not. I'm hoping for Fire Emblem Awakening: Feet Edition!

I got banned from Miiverse for abusive/bullying behavior. My wife was playing Animal Crossing and made a post asking what do people do with their 'oids. I said I rub cream on mine. Banned. So now Nintendo think I bully/abuse my wife. Taught me a lesson about social media.

I remember the preset borders would animate if left for 10 minutes or so. There was a lovely one of a lone cottage under a tree. When left, the sun would set, night would fall and a light came on in the house.
In another, you could also draw all over the screen and Mario would eventually come and wipe it clean.

It's funny that these beloved but niche franchises like Chibi Robo and Pikmin get side scrolling platformers (your definition may differ) to broaden their appeal, upsetting a section of the core fanbase in the process, while the one franchise that people would love to see get 2D side scroller gets an online co-op shooter instead.

I can't help but wonder if this game would have been better received if they had developed it as a new IP rather than attach the Metroid branding midway through development. Imagine if, through a bit of tinkering, Splatoon had been a new type of Metroid game. I expect people would have reacted similarly to the Federation Force reaction. The game could have been just as good as the Splatoon we got but would if have been as well received?

I just hope that Nintendo don't see these failed spin-offs as peoples indifference to the francises as a whole.

While I wouldn't expect it to be as feature rich as the Mario sports games of old, I'm glad they aren't splitting it into five separate titles. I'd never buy a bare bones Mario tennis or golf individually but five sports bundled together is quite appealing.

Seems like Nintendo found the Wii U's "do not resuscitate" order around the same time they found its Organ Donor card.

Should keep the 3ds alive for another year or so.

The Curve Digital sale is advertised on the eshop as lasting until the 28th but they are all the usual price still. Anyone else having this issue or are people seeing the games as on sale?

You can stream a video from the internet to your TV while browsing websites on the gamepad. It's so convenient, I'm suprised people don't mention it more often.

I've only read the first 50 or so comments but I want to thank the NLife community for their kind words of support for Britain and for the many who tried to keep us on course for being a part of the EU. It's a shame we chose to simultaneously thumb our nose at the world whilst also cutting it off.

@Stitches You should think about sticking the limited edition box and tat on eBay and keeping the game. Someone will want it and you get the full game card having only spent around £35.

@kenrulei If Nintendo are paying for it, there's no risk involved for Ubisoft anyway, I suppose. A system exclusive for a franchise that sells well would be great though.

While I'd like this to be true, system exclusive sequels to games that didn't sell well might not be the best way to sell the NX. I was hoping Bayonetta 2 would help the Wii U but it didn't really. And if Beyond Good & Evil 2 bombed, Ubisoft would be out of the NX market straight away.

I was hoping it wouldn't be so good so I could skip it. Couldn't beat the first. I know some of the last bosses are optional and i could go to the end but that feels like a cop out. My handheld rpg backlog already includes Dragon Quest 4, 6, Monsters Joker 2, The World Ends With You and Infinite Space, maybe others too. And then all the great rpgs coming this year. I guess I'm just gonna have to add one more. Managing to hold off on Project X Zone 2 at least.

In the first games demo, I thought I'd be really clever and do a load of grinding so I'd be super buff when I tranfered the data and started the game. It didn't transfer any stats so that was a waste of time!

I begged my mum to pay £70 for this when it came out. Which is stupidly expensive even by todays standards. I still remember the NTHGHTHDGDCRTDTRK password somehow. If only I could repay my mother by remembering her birthday.

Yeah, Alex is great. It's all the more impressive when you consider there's not a great deal to talk about regarding Nintendo on a day to day basis. My only concern is that he usually seems a little drunk. Nintendo Lifes very own Des O'Connor at Eurovision, if you will. My wife thinks he looks like me to point that she refers to him as my cousin. So, congratulations to my lovely cousin Alex, I guess! (I have also been drinking).

The only part where I disagree is saying "ruining the Christmases of 10 million Wii U owners matter little". To me, Wii U owners represent the "Nintendo Faithful". The core supporters the company relies on when the general gaming population turns it's back. The people who will be in line on day one when new Nintendo hardware is released. Giving these people another reason the regret buying a Wii U will become another hurdle for the NX.
Personally, I got my WIi U day one, never regretted it and am really looking forward to Xenoblade X this Christmas but I'll probably "wait and see" on the NX though.

More skins wouldn't interest me as I've got plenty of amiibo, more would feel excessive. Slopes and Tanooki/Frog suits would be welcome but rather as a free update. I was a little miffed to learn they wouldn't be included. DLC I'd definitely purchase would be more game themes, such as Super Mario 2 or either of the Mario Land games but I'm not really expecting that. Mario Land Maker could be a 3DS game though one day.

Reminds me of that Sid Vicious 'Cowboys' T shirt. And it's good to see cowboys and natives getting along after all those old John Wayne films.

So the North America N3DS is getting the PAL SNES button colours? They do look better but I was expecting them to get the blue/grey colour scheme.
