Re: No, Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2's Voice Work Isn't Complete

ryancraddock

@NPC411 This wasn't a 'copy-paste story from GoNintendo'. The story originally came from Gamereactor, an outlet considered to be a reliable source. We simply shared that news as we would any other story from any reputable source.

I'm not sure why this particular Gamereactor report is seemingly incorrect, but it seems strange to me that outlets that shared the report such as ourselves, IGN, etc are being attacked over this. If a trustworthy outlet discovers a story, the 'proper' thing to do is source and credit them for their find. That's what we did.

Re: 3DS Sales See 73% Year-On-Year Decline, No Future Sales Forecast Provided

ryancraddock

@Zeldafan79 We're not reporting on this because we're "hell bent on telling you the 3DS is dead". Actually, it's nice to be able to talk about the 3DS at all, and this is the most important news we've had regarding anything to do with the system all year.

For anyone still interested in the 3DS, we'd like to think an update like this - even if it's not particularly positive - would still be interesting.

Re: Nintendo Confirms That Around 160,000 Accounts May Have Been Hacked, Personal Info Possibly At Risk

ryancraddock

@rjejr The source of the article (the official report from Nintendo's Japanese website) reads as follows:

"NNID that may have received unauthorized login
โ— About 160,000 accounts

Information that may have been viewed by a third party
โ— The following information registered in NNID: Nickname, date of birth, country / region, email address"

I'm wording it as Nintendo has worded it.

@XCWarrior We have these guides which we regularly keep up to date: US / Europe

Not sure if this is what you saw, but we update these pages with the best picks from sales as they happen. Essentially, the idea is that you could bookmark that page and keep checking back rather than having to keep finding new articles. Hope it helps ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: The Outer Worlds Gets A New Switch Release Date And A Day-One Patch

ryancraddock

@progx The headline noted that a patch was coming, not because of its size, but to share the news of the content that patch provides.

If we'd have written it like 'The Outer Worlds Has SHOCKING Day-One Patch, You'll Never Believe How Many GB It Is', then I'd understand, but our headline is as matter-of-fact as we could possibly have made it.
