@TheWallosaurus I think choosing a course is literally just that. You decide to start where you feel most comfortable, or where you feel you can add the most time to your clock, but it doesn't impact what others are doing.

I always just start at 1-1 because I know the layout well and can get off to a good start there.

@Julien Honestly, I'm not sure what's going on anymore. I agree that the initial report seems to have been incorrect, but the podcast's response hasn't actually made the situation any clearer so we'll have to wait and see!

@NPC411 This wasn't a 'copy-paste story from GoNintendo'. The story originally came from Gamereactor, an outlet considered to be a reliable source. We simply shared that news as we would any other story from any reputable source.

I'm not sure why this particular Gamereactor report is seemingly incorrect, but it seems strange to me that outlets that shared the report such as ourselves, IGN, etc are being attacked over this. If a trustworthy outlet discovers a story, the 'proper' thing to do is source and credit them for their find. That's what we did.

@Y2JayRome We did a similar poll for the Switch Lite last year. Considering it'd only been out a few days when we posted it, we were surprised at how many people were having issues.

If this continues to be an issue, we may do another poll one day, but we've covered it a few times in the past 🙂

Either way, this is why we don't tend to recommend it 😅

We tend to recommend the other way as it's the safer option in that regard. Even if we highlight the fact that you'd lose funds, some might rush ahead and go with it without properly reading the article first. 🙃

Not sure if this is what you saw, but we update these pages with the best picks from sales as they happen. Essentially, the idea is that you could bookmark that page and keep checking back rather than having to keep finding new articles. Hope it helps 🙂
