@chardir Yep, but as I said, they are the rules posted for the North American event. The European event has been revealed under a different name 'Grand Prix' and that description hasn't been posted anywhere on Nintendo of Europe's official channels.

It could well be the same rules as the North American one, but we can't know for sure yet.

@OorWullie The shapes are just an indicator of your level. You'll notice that people level 1-10 have the little green thing, then once you break out of that it turns blue. It'll keep changing as you level up.

Again, it's unclear at the minute whether there's more to it than that - the official site is intentionally vague at the mo - but it talks about shipping times taking longer than usual thanks to individual customisation.

It's just a general, sign off statement that recognises his hard work and talent. We're not saying that we feel in awe of him because he plays his own video game.

Actually, many creative people don't enjoy watching/playing/reading/listening to their own work, as they prefer to make a firm split between work and home life. Different people think differently 🙂

Yeah, I wouldn't dispute the fact that the game being free is a huge part of its success. My comment was aimed more at those who think that that is the only reason it's popular, rather than accepting the fact that many enjoy its gameplay, too. 🙂
