The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was just one of the standouts of this E3, and we can't blame you for not catching everything that happened. As always, we've crammed a whole week's worth of gubbins into a single video so you can catch up nice and easily.
This week we naturally round up the cream of E3, but due to format restrictions we don't cover everything that happened, so check out our full E3 summary article with links to all our coverage.

All I was excited for at E3 was The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild, and Mario Party Star Rush.
I am really looking forward to all of the following announcements coming out that were announced before and at E3.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Archer Link amiibo
Horseback Link amiibo
Guardian amiibo
Wario amiibo
Waluigi amiibo
Daisy amiibo
Rosalina amiibo
Boo amiibo
Donkey Kong amiibo
Diddy Kong amiibo
Pokémon Sun
Pokémon Moon
Paper Mario Colour Splash
Mario Party Star Rush
I politely refuse to call the Paper Mario game Color Splash as I am not from America.
Gamers won E3
Obviously it's not been reported on the site, but can I just say what an absolute tool JP Kellams has made himself look over the whole Kamiya photo thing? Yeah, but you guys were kind of in the wrong to take/post that photo, but a simple private message asking for it to be taken down would have sufficed. Instead he's just gone totally over the top with his reaction. I hope that NintendoLife are not cut off from access to PlatinumGames like he threatened!
This'll be the longest 8 months of my life...
@Peach64 Dang! What happened!?
@Peach64
They can't cut them off from access. That's not in their power. They can just avoid giving exclusive info and review copies.
Thirty-five dollars for a wristband...if it came with unlimited Pokeballs, then maybe.
E3 was great until Capcom gave MHG demo codes out to everbody except me and a whole bunch of people that I religiously play Monster Hunter with.
I'm bummed that there was no NX or Mario Kart 8 DLC; but I'm also not surprised either.
I'd like to have a Breath of The Wild demo for mu Wii U, but chances are I wouldn't get a code for that either. Lol
@chiefeagle02 Don't worry, the price will go down once they realize that what they're asking for is ludicrious and that nobody is buying it...
...is what I would LIKE to say, but it sold out in a flash on Amazon...they have power and they know it...
I don't quite follow the foofaraw over that photo. It's a guy sleeping. What am I missing? A big, fat ego?
@Alundra-1998 Thank you for using the true spelling of colour.
Oh, and I guess it's obvious that we can basically confirm the NX supports NFC scanning of amiibo figures since it's a function of the new Zelda that you can scan in the wolf amiibo and have him join you in the game, and you'd have to presume it's similarly supported in the NX version too, or else that would be a bit of a douche move on Nintendo's part to show off this cool function of the game but not mention that it's not actually be available in the NX version.
So, I'm getting a device that so far likely does not have a touchscreen, seeing as they apparently removed that feature from the game once they committed to releasing it on both Wii U and NX, but does support NFC. It's kinda sounding like a Wii U without a traditional controller. . . .
At least that's two aspects of NX I feel pretty confident are a thing.
Pretty good week because Zelda makes things better, even when they delay because of having to make it for the NX, I mean when using glasses as the game screen can increase the production time 😁. Just kidding. Although my gut feeling believes that the NX involves wearing glasses when on the go and TV at home if you want to. Nintendo did master eye tracking with the 3ds so I believe their might even be a 3d option added and possibly the highlight of the glasses function. Just imagine if they could port already existing 3ds games. I calling it and thinking that's what it is so here's hoping so. I posted this because the enormous elephant in the room is the reigning question of "What is NX?"
@Peach64
Crazy how some "professionals" can be, huh?
@Detective_TeeJay I'm waiting for someone to make a free or cheap app that emulates the Pokemon Go+ on smartwatches.
Zelda winning E3 was unexpected. Some devs are even saying the NX is really good. Nintendo, are you finally heading in the right direction?
They turn up with 1 game and destroy the competition ... 😂

Meh, a nice showing for what's coming in 2017 but most of the stuff releasing this year didnt interest me. Oddly enough, it was XBO's 2016 schedule that got me slightly pumped.
Breath of the Wild has the very high chance of feeling derivative of the usual open-world games like Skyrim and Witcher3....but folks who only game on Nintendo systems will be blown away.
Also, I dont approve of right-handed Links, they tend to get rather boring games compared to the lefties
